The clicking of solid healed shoes against the cobblestone pathway of Diagon Alley rose up through the stale, heavy air surrounding the shops. With a thick, yet high, cloud cover threatening to unleash the most fierce of storms at any second, a majority of the wizarding population seemed to have vanished inside their homes or took to crowding the inside of each store rather than roaming the streets and walkways. A harsh, loud rumble sounded off in the distance but the sound was lost on a set of fairly coloured ears. There were other things in mind at the moment. Even the clickity click of those black, designer shoes went entirely ignored as their owner drifted toward her destination: Gringott's Wizarding Bank.
The soft skin of pale, dainty hands brushed against the silky smooth black cloak she wore before her feminine fingers reached forward and wrapped themselves around the thick and heavy handle to the massive door. Bellatrix Lestrange practically yanked the door open and strode forward into the bank. It, unlike so many of the shops, was nearly empty save a few patrons who were too busy to notice her presence. Something in the back of her mind made Bella yearn for the old days when she could enter a room and see everyone cower in fear. To her, fear meant respect. If she could make them tremble in the corner with just one look, it was clear just how much respect they had for her and prove how infamous she was. Bella loved knowing that her name, something so simple as her whispered name, could strike fear into some of the strongest of men and cause parents to pull their little ones inside. Oh how she missed those days!
Arriving at the counter, she tapped the tips of her fingernails against the marble surface impatiently. Much to her bitter disappointment, the goblin behind the reception desk hadn't even flinched nor made a gesture to her. A scowl forming on her lips, Bella slammed her fist down against the counter and harshly growled, "I'd like to go down to my vault...NOW!" As the words left her mouth, the creature's head snapped up and a hint of reverence shown in his eyes. Though her Death Eater days had gone, Bella was still known enough to at least get what she wanted when she wanted it.

Lucinda had entered gringotts and headed towards the counter. She wore a black pleated mini skirt, a red and black corset top and strapped stilletto heels Her blonde hair was curly and hung down her back. She walked up towards the receptionist counter and waited behind a woman. She looked at the woman with her light greyish blue eyes and reconized her as her Aunt, Bellatrix Lestrange. She smirked, Oh this would be a intresting meeting. A intresting meeting indeed.

The younger goblin stared up at her for a moment before nodding adamantly at her and starting to round the massive counter. Bella smirked proudly at knowing she could still make demands and get her way at the mere snap of a finger; or, in this case, a fist against the countertop. Turning to her left, the Lestrange matriarch caught a glimpse of someone standing behind her. Without diverting much attention to the other patron, she observed the young lady quickly for any sign that she might know her. As it was, the blonde hair was undeniably that of a Malfoy. For a moment, Bella scowled. She and the Malfoys, minus of course her dearest Cissy, were not on the best of terms and hadn't been since the very day she'd been brought back. In fact, Bellatrix and Lucius had always been at each other's throats from day one. Nonetheless, this girl was still a descendant of the most Noble house of Black.
Turning nearly twenty degrees more toward the girl, Bellatrix looked for some other sign that she hadn't been mistaken. No, there was no denying that this young lady was a Malfoy. She had quite a few distinguishable attributes that made it beyond just obvious who she was related to. Unfortunately, Bella had never taken the time to learn any of the names of her younger relations. She'd heard her own children talk of the Malfoy children and of Rabastan's offspring but she hadn't the attention span nor care to learn names. This, however, would change if the thoughts on her mind proved to be more than mere thoughts. Letting her scowl fall, she gave the young lady a polite nod to show that she'd been acknowledged.

Lucinda kept a straight face and moved her eyebrows up and then back down in aknowledgement. She did not speak She flipped her hair over her shoulder and went up to the counter and said, "I would like to make a withdrawl from the Malfoy Vault please, Also now would be better than later." The goblin nodded and a shorter one lead her to the lower floors below so they could travel down the lower more secured Vaults.

Bellatrix found herself frowning all over again. This girl, the Malfoy girl, didn't possess the same firm tone and demand that every Black, and certainly Malfoy, had undoubtedly. It was a slight disappointment to see such youth and such blood going to waste. Sure, this wasn't the world of old but at least she expected her flesh and blood relations would have such traits. At least she was sure that her children, or at least the girls, knew how to always get what they wanted and ensure that they got it in a timely manner as well. Perhaps this Malfoy girl was misguided?
From a quick estimation, Bellatrix placed the young lady between the ages of fourteen and seventeen. It wasn't too old to have some outside influence and guidance but she had a feeling that this girl would be just as stubborn as Gabriel. As these thoughts swirled around her mind, Bellatrix followed her own servant goblin downwards toward the carts. As much as she loathed the lenghty ride to the lower levels of the bank, it was the only way to ensure that the Lestrange family fortune was stored away safely. As fate would have it, the two goblins noticed each other and came to a conclusion that it would be better to put both ladies in the same cart.
As Bella stepped inside the mode for transport, she moved to the very back of the cart to make extra room. If it had been anyone else, Bellatrix would have shot down the notion of sharing in a heartbeat. As it was, this girl was someone whom she had an interest in knowing.

Lucinda walked down and stepped into the cart and sat down not to close to the back but enough to know if Bellatrix had any look on her face she would know and could retaliate. She crossed her legs and waited for the cart to move. She sighed as it creaked slowly to a start and took a compact out and began checking her make up. She frowned at her smudged eyeliner and began fixing it. She tossed her blonde hair over her shoulder and looked over at Bellatrix and said, "Is there a problem, Lestrange?" She raised and eyebrow and crossed her arms across her chest. This would probably only lead to trouble being the Family never got along.

With a keen interest, Bellatrix watched this girl, her own relation, as the Malfoy tended to her makeup as though it was of the utmost importance to look good for a few goblins and their wards. The fact of the matter was that Lestrange had considered the girl attractive enough being that she was of noble Black blood. This girl may not have held the surname but she certainly did possess a natural beauty that only someone of the most pure and noble blood could. Besides, even though Bella and Lucius had NEVER gotten along, that wasn't to say that she did think his mother was quite the handsome woman. Naturally, his offspring wouldn't be cursed with such looks as the likes of a Parkinson.
Bellatrix smirked upon hearing her last name used. Evidently this little girl could not fathom who she was addressing or else she'd been taught the ways of filth by those muggle-loving school staff. Rather than snap at the Malfoy girl, Bellatrix mimicked the gesture of crossing her arms across her chest and casually responded, "Using last names are we, love? I'd've thought your mummy would have taught you better. Tisk, tisk." Giving a disapproving shake of the head, she let a patronizing sort of smile grace her lips. As a follow up statement, she went on to say, "Perhaps I should have a little talk with her about those parenting skills."

"Parenting skill wouldn't even improve her IQ or intelligence on how to raise a kid. She's a dumb baboon if if ya ask me. I always use the last name of people I don't really hold a liking to. Even your son holds to that, Gabriel isn't what you call a gentleman and if you did, I would go have your brain scanned immiediatly if I was you." Lucinda said she flipped her hair over her shoulders and put her nose in the air as if smelling something foul but deep in gringotts foul smeeling was all that was around you. Along with the humidity. She looked at the goblins and said, "Okay normally you guys make me want to throw up on this thing and today your ruining my hair. Pick the pace up or make this a better enviorment. Your ruining my outfit and looks. It took me hours to get my hair to be like this!" She wasn't in a very good mood or friendly like usual. She had her moments and her mood swings like everyone.

It was really dreadful hearing this Malfoy girl talking about her mother in such a way; dreadful and absolutely disrespectful! Then again, obviously Draco's choice of wife, though the girl was surely pureblood, didn't seem the best. If the woman couldn't even hold her own daughter's respect and teach the girl how to be a proper lady whilst amid fellow purebloods then her nephew's wife obviously wasn't worthy. The mention of her own son, however, did cause Bellatrix to scowl. She'd noticed that Gabriel had been starting to shy away from the ways he was raised. It was a terrible thing and she loathed the idea of her own child turning into a...a mudblood lover. It was bad enough that her own flesh and blood sister had turned into a blood traitor and that useless git of a cousin as well. It was enough to make one sick.
Rather than comment on that subject, she found herself smirking at the temper this girl obviously had. It was little outbursts like the very one she'd just had on the goblins that reinforced just how blood related they were. Something so small as a sharp retort to those who only existed to serve was more than enough to give Bella much more interest in this young lady. "Trust me, love, nothing could possibly harm the looks of anyone from the most noble house of Black," Bellatrix assured this girl, "Now tell me, you're obviously not be fond of your surname nor those affiliated with it, is there a given name that you'd prefer to be called by. I'm afraid I haven't kept up with my nephew's knack for reproducing."

"My names Lucinda. Most call me Luce or Luci." Lucinda said with a shrug. She tucked her blonde hair behind her ears, and tapped her foot on the floor. She sighed heavily as she was growing tired of this long trip just for some money. she needed for a shopping trip. Her dad never gave her enough for her whole school year. Which made her mad. It was like she had mo trust or respect from him.

Thinking the name over and over, Bellatrix scowled a little at how close it was to Malfoy's name. The girl was charming enough that something like that could well be overlooked but she did feel a hint of remorse that this young lady, the daughter of her darling nephew, was cursed to be near enough named after that great git Lucius. Now, it wasn't that Bellatrix had anything against all of the Malfoys. Oh no! Quite the opposite. Her beloved Cissy and darling Draco had her utmost affection. And, as it was, she could see herself getting along with this young lady as well...just as long as she wasn't in the image of her namesake.
On any other day, surely Bellatrix would have already had a bitter or violent outburst at the goblins for not attempting to remedy something that they obviously could not. Today, instead, she was rather taken by becoming acquainted with the young lady whom she had shared the cart. Even if Gabriel hadn't intended to follow the strict pureblood beliefs, at least the females of the Lestrange, Malfoy and Black families could carry on tradition. The left corner of her lips twitched into a half smile as she asked, "Tell me, Luci, love, has my darling nephew Draco at least done his part to keep you informed of your most noble and respected bloodlines?"

"Well lets just say he goes on to long at times and bores me. I am happy that I am a pureblood it gives me something to be proud of yet people hate me for my last name. Sometimes thats a bit of an annoyence because they think I'm cowardly and stupid like my Grandfather and Father. but I think as much as I can dislike my father for his constant nagging about following the families foot steps he's a bit, more than what people give him credit for. But with hating Muggle borns and half breeds I don't follow that. I'm more polite than my pig of a mother and arse of a grandfather." Truth was as much as she could hate her father she cared for him and her Grandmother wasn't pure abnoxious to Lucinda.

The cart jerked to a halt after a moment or two but it didn't faze Bellatrix. She had been expecting it to happen sooner or later so she'd previously secured herself into the cart such that she wasn't knocked about by the sharp movement. She did, however, glare at the lead goblin warningly as if to say that he should be more careful the next time. In all honesty, there was nothing the creature could do about it but that wasn't going to stop Bella from glaring and scolding him. Just the look in response that the goblin gave was enough to make words unnecessary.
"I see," was the only thing that Bellatrix could possibly say about the rest of what her relation had revealed. Indeed, Bella did agree that Lucius Malfoy was an arrogant and obnoxious arse at best and that the girl Draco had married wasn't very bright nor worthy of being in the family...aside from her pureblood. The main problem was that this girl, Lucinda Malfoy, seemed to be announcing that she was a blood traitor and a muggle sympathizer. Both of which caused a nauseous feeling in the depths of Bella's stomach.

"You may not aprrobe of me calling Mudbloods Muggle borns but you can blame my parents after all it was thers resposibility to raise me now wasn't it?" She said looking at Bellatrix with a glare. Truth be told Lucinda was automatically like that and never listened to her father she just lied when he asked if she was listening or trying to teach her the Unforgivibles. She failed to do them on purpose which made her father cause her a complete failure which she didn't care about.

"To put it very bluntly, Lucinda darling, I don't approve. I'm sure you've been made very well aware of how we deal with those who don't follow the ancient teachings all purebloods live by. The Blacks are some of the most forgiving as we haven't murdered anyone who chose to live a life of filth with the bottom of the bin," Bellatrix explained very seriously, "Other families torture and muder those who dare to soil their family's name. All decent pureblood children have been raised with the knowledge of this...and I'm positive my darling nephew Draco has passed that along to his offspring."
Bella Lestrange was passionate about the subject of pureblood supremecy and keeping the most Noble house of Black as pure as possible. The more children in the family was supposed to result in a more pure world...not more muggle loving, blood-traitor filth. Her nose upturned slightly, Bella frowned. Surely this could not have been Draco's fault. If anything, that cow he married must have been passing along such horrible beliefs behind his back.
