Sirius Lupin may have been Remus, Moony's, son... and such was thought to be an academic. But he was also Tonks' son, and held the name of one Padfoot, Sirius Black; these two things worked together to make him out to be a bit more of a trouble maker than his father. And, as such, he was to be found one late night down in the kitchens of Hogwarts. Having snuck out of the Gryfindor tower and used a few choice secret passages.
He was a regular in the kitchens, often waking up with a bit of a craving. The house elves had all come to know him by name, and a large amount even knew exactly what to bring him when he appeared.
So now he sat with a steaming cup of hot chocolate, with a bit of firewhiskey in it, and a plate full of goodys from ice cream to pop corn to roast. Taking a large bite of peach pie he moaned in delight and turned to a particular faveorite house elf of his, Binky, and smiled, "Ohh Binky, you've out done yourself! This is the best pie I have ever tasted!" he told her. The other house elves looked on almost jealously as Binky gave Sirius a lop-sided, toothy grin, Mr. Sirius is too nice to Binky. she told him handing him another peice of pie.
"Oh but it's well deserved!" he told her truthfully, wipping his mouth with a napkin and accepting the pie. He had to admit, Binky was the best looking of the house elves, as he had personally bought her a pink dress hat for Christmas. She'd been freed by her masters shortly after the fall of the Dark Lord, and had found her way to Hogwarts. Turning his attention back to his plate he had to smile to himself, man life was sweet!

Wiping the lip stick off his face, Remus barely noticed Sirius' as he entered the kitchens. It had been a long, exhausting and satisfactory night... for him anyway. That was the primary reason he was down here actually... he didn't like being on an empty stomach. Remus' eyes found the tiny elves that huddled around him, he grinned, bowing his head graciously to them as they set him desert.
Oh pie... pie of any sort made his mouth water. It was a surprise that him and his friends weren't three hundred pounds overweight, because he couldn't count how many times they had snuck down to the kitchen and returned with bags full of food for the dorms.
He soon noticed Sirius, doing a double take after scarfing down his pie in a little less than two bits. "Sirius, man where have you been lately?" Remus walked over, patting his friend on the back and setting himself down next to him.
Sirius was, of course, one of Remus' best friend and cousin. They both held the correct genetics that made them so incredibly similar, it was almost funny. Bother the player like boys, they could go into a bar with older women, and pick up more than any other guys. Of course, being Hogwarts students, they didn't usually do that...
Remus ran his fingers through his hair, releasing it just as he received another piece of pie.

James walked up to the large painting of the fruit bowl and tickled the pear, managing to get himself to grin at it. It had been a very tiring day, especially with all the quidditch practicing he had done. He had, in fact, just gotten off the pitch less than an hour ago because it had gotten too dark to see and the light from his wand wasn't helping. There was a big game coming up and James needed to hone his skills so he could be ready.
All the practicing had left him starving, and the only way you could get food in the middle of the night was down in the Hogwarts Kitchens. James rubbed his sleepy eyes and yawned, as he opened up the painting with the pear still on it, giggling. He carried his new, amazing, broom into the Kitchens and rested it at the door frame, making sure to tell one of the house elves to keep a close watch on it. The other house elves came running up to him with all sorts of goods, making James's stomach growl deeply. "Thanks." he said to a floppy-eared house elf as he took a sandwich off of one of the trays.
Before James could even take a bite out of his sandwich, he heard the voices of his two best friends coming from somewhere in the back of the kitchen. "What, is this just where we meet now?" he asked them with a grin as he moved to sit next to them. With a very audible sigh, he took a seat next to them and rubbed his eyes. "What are you guys still doing up?" He took the long awaited for bite out of his sandwich, making his stomach very happy.

Sirius was still engrossed in his second piece of pie as Remus entered, so he did not notice his beat friend and fellow 2nd generation Marauder untill the guy patted him on the back and announced himself.
"Remus my man! I've been here and there a few times. From the looks of things you've had a good night so far." he said smirking as he motioned to his ear, where Remus still had a bright red lip print.
Moving a bit so the second Gryfindor could be more comfortable Sirius helped himself to a roast beef sandwich.
Just as he took his first bite he heard the familiar voice of his other best friend, not able to answer him right away he instead waved his sandwich at him in greeting. He managed to swallow the bite just as James asked why they were still up, "Well it's the happening place to be obviously!" he said finally grinning at his two buddies.
They hadn't gotten to hang out as much lately as they were used to, and it was weird. But now that they were together it felt right, Sirius was always happier when he had his best friends around him. "I'm just enjoying some delicious, delicious food!" he told James taking another bite of the sandwich to prove his point.[/blockquote]

Jason hadn't seen his friends around a while. But that was more because he had gotten into a nasty fight with a slytherin. He lay in his bed not being able to sleep he thought of every prank him and his friends had ever pulled he also thought about how he thought of his friends more of family than he did his parents. He thought about the people that he was starting to have deeper feelings for. He shook his head as he knew it wouldn't ever happen.
He grabbed his stomach as it started to rumble. He sat up and smirked. He pulled on a shirt and loose pants and quietly snick out of the gryffindor dorms and through the common room. He walked a few steps then heard flitch and quickly duct into the shadows. He waited a moment then ran toward the kitchen. Once he was finally outside the kitchen and he caught his breath and shook off the adrenaline which had just made him more hunger struck. He saw Jame's broom than listened and heard voices.
He smiled he knew them anywhere. He walked in and instantly a house elf was there with his favorite ice-cream vanilla with chocolate. He bowed his head and thanked the house elf and thought to himself. ' I guess I may come here a lot while I stay here.' He scratched the back of his head and started to walk over to his friends. He looked at the table and sat on the counter behind James. "No body told me about the late night sleep over....I'm so hurt guys."
He smiled at all of them and took a bite of his cold ice cream and made a brain freeze face. He swallowed and waited for his friends to say something.

Sirius had just about finished his Roast Beef sandwich when he heard the arrival of the final Marauder, Jason. Now Jason was the last addition to the Marauders, even though Sirius was himself the youngest and last to come to Hogwarts. It had taken them along time to trust the son of the guy who had betrayed the orginal James and Lilly Potter, and by extension the original Remus and Sirius as well.
But now the guy was an equal member of the second genereation Marauders. "Ohh Jas, you must not have recieved the memo! Can you ever forgive me?" Sirius answered him overly dramatically.
Finishing the last bite of his sandwich Sirius looked across at what his friend was eating, "All that sugars gonna kill ya mate!" he told him leaning forward and swiping his finger through a spot that had rather a lot of chocolate on it. Sitting back he licked the ice cream off his finger and grinned across at his friend.

Jason smirked and nodded. " HM well I am sure I can forgive you not that hard. I mean you can't help if I don't get my mail. I know it could kill me but with that risk I'm okay so addicting ice cream is. But hey you owe me a finger full now the chocolate is the best part. WHOA!"
Jason had leaned to far trying to grab the chocolate syrup and had fallen off the counter. He quickly jumped to his feet and up on the counter looking cool but his hair messed up a bit. "Uh that didn't happen at all. I guess that's what sugar does to me oh well."
Jason smiled and started eating again. He was amazed that him and his friends were as skinny as they were when they pigged out like they did. He waited quietly and started to see the others James who looked like he just got done with practice and Remus who still had lipstick in small places. He smiled as he ate. " Looks like we all have been busy guys lately??"
He knew that they hadn't just hung out like they used to but he was willing to hang out with them. Pranking and fighting just weren't the same without his friends. He waited a few moments and realized that they just brought different things to their group. But that was why they were getting along so well because they were so different that they were the same as well. He looked at his friends and then down. It was the first time in a long time that he truly did feel like they trusted him. He waited a moment and out of the blue asked them. "Guys How do you know if you really really like someone? "
His eyes grew wide as he realized what he had said.

Before Remus could smirk and make his usual smug comment about the lipstick, Jason seemed to join the unofficial marauder party. Remus had basically forgotten about his food at this point, eyeing his friend with a rather amused expression on his face. The marauders[new age] had recently formed a bond that felt like it would last a lifetime, but none of them could be fooled by things they thought lasted a lifetime. Remus, who was a fun-loving kind of guy, seemed to accept Jason. Jason was nothing like his father, Remus knew that, but his father had never forgiven Peter Pettigrew, even though they were alive once again.
As he watched Jason, the thought of his father didn't even cross his mind. They were just too different. "We're so sorry, Jas, shall we have a group hug then?" he grinned mockingly, extending his arms and raising his eyebrows. Remus' smirk widened as he heard what Jason had said, "Busy? That's an understatment, dude." Remus laughed out loud, his bark like laugh sounding like his fathers. He didn't bother to wipe the lipstick off, the girls probably made it unremovable or something... devotion really was a strange thing.
But what came next stratled him a little... did Jason... like someone? Remus looked thoughtful for a second. He had experience in this matter. He had never liked anyone in the real intense sort of way... well except that ONE girl but maybe he was just delusional? Remus sighed, his eyes finding Jason. "Well..." he said a sheepish smile on his face. "liking liking someone is like... having the stomach flu, only pleasent. You get sort of lost when she's around." Remus grinned, his analogy not working out the way he had wanted it exactly, but the question had come up really out of the blue. He looked over at the other two, raising his eyebrows for some help.

Sirius had to laugh at Remus' sugestion, "No offence mate, but I think I'm gonna stick to hugging the fairer sex." he told his friend reaching for another peice of pie that had been brought over. He really did have to wonder how none of them were fat.
But as Jason's next question came Sirius almost choked on his latest bite of the delieciouse dessert. Now Sirius did have the one forbiden love that made him hate himself for, but he always thought he was the only Marauder who actually liked a girl, as more than a hook up. Well except maybe James, they all knew he had feelings for Katherine, even if he would never admit it out loud. But Sirius had always though Jason and Remus the two that were smarter than that.
Listening to Remus' analogy he had to raise his eyebrows, it almost sounded like Remus may just like a girl as well, or had at one point. What was happening to the Marauders? The four studs of Hogwarts? Shaking his head a bit he looked over at Jason, eyeing him closely, "First off Jas, I'm going to require a name to go along with this new revelation you've given me. And second, when you like someone it's as if any time they're around you've just missed a step. Your stomache feels like it's flying, and you heart clenches... he said trailing off slightly, thinking about the only girl that had ever made him feel that way.

Just as James was about to take another bite from his delicious sandwich to quell the noise his stomach was making, the 4th Marauder came in and joined them. Jason Pettigrew was nothing like his father, James knew that and accepted it. Except, Harry, James' Father, had never and WOULD never forgive Jason's father for what he did to Harry's parents, James' Grandparents. James wouldn't ever forgive him either, and reminded himself to never bring up the subject of Peter Pettigrew as to not bring up such a painful topic.
"Don't worry Jas, they didn't tell me either." he grinned at Sirius and Remus. "Seems like they wanted it to be a private meeting, if ya know what I mean." he dramatically winked at Jason and smirked. Then he continued to eat his sandwich and took a butterbeer off the nearest shelf. Taking a swig of the delicious drink, he watched as Jason scarfed down ice cream and chocolate syrup. "Ew, man, enough sweets?" James made a face and then grinned when Jason made the bottle of chocolate syrup fall. "Smooth... he smirked.
James gaped at his friend as he asked them if they knew when they liked someone. Surprised wouldn't be the word for the reaction to this question. The Marauders were actually quite known for their suaveness with the ladies, more so Remus than the others. He listened to Remus and Sirius's response, he nodded along, fully aware of what feeling they were talking about. He had felt something similar every time he was near Kat, only his heart didn't clench, it felt like it was trying to beat it's way out of his chest. "'Like the stomach flu, only pleasant.'?" James laughed at his friend's response. "I think Sirius has got it pretty right. It's like you can't think around her, and when you stand next to her, even if you're in a crowded room, all you see is her and only her. And when you try to talk you stutter and trip over your own words, like you can't get a single coherent sentence out." he realized that he was still talking and quickly shut up, taking another bite of his sandwich.

Jason smiled and laughed a little " Oh gee James I totally get what you mean. Remus though hugs are nice from a female. From what James tells you Sirius wouldn't mind all to much. Busy probably is the understatement lately but it's okay we seem to still find ourselves here. Well you all seem to know what you are talking about."
Jason took another big bite of his food and looked at James with a puzzled look. But smiled he knew that he probably didn't need so much sugar but he couldn't help it. He was addicted to it he had to have it at least once a week."Eh I'm a growing boy my body needs all of the sugar. I mean look I'm out growing my cloths already." he laughed as he stood up to show his pants only went to his lower calf.
He jumped back up onto the counter and started eating again. he listened to his friends everything they answered with he had plus more. Then they asked who was the cause of his question he wanted to hit himself. But a huge part of him knew that he couldn't change the subject . But how was he going to tell them that he was falling for her Roxanne aka Roxy Weasley. Especially that they all knew her.
He inhaled and exhaled a few times. He wasn't nervous to tell his friends. He was nervous that they would tell him that he couldn't."Well you all know her she is what we would call the best girl prankster at Hogwarts in my year. I think I am falling for Roxanne Weasley."
He looked down and waited for the guys to say something.

Sirius continued to munch on his third peice of pie as James added his two cents into the debate on what liking a girl felt like. If anyone else could see them now they would be completely shocked that these 4 boys would be talking about liking girls of all people.
Laughing as Jason demonstrated his growth he cocked an eyebrow in his dierection, "Jas, I still think you buy short pants just to try and make us all believe that you're actually growing when we all know you stopped 2 years ago." he told him. Sirius was probably the shortest of the Marauders, and it was a fact that they never let him forget.
Looking closely at his friend he had to admit he looked fairly uncomfortable. Waiting for his answer to who he liked Sirius had to hope that none of them would ask his secret crush. They would probably disown him as friends if they found out. As Jason told them who the girl was Sirius had to admit it wasn't all that surprising, he knew that he had at one time thought of Roxy in that way, but knew that she was forbiden territory unless you really meant it, James for one would probably kill any of them if they'd gone for her.
"Well Jas, while I admit to the fact that she is one of the best pranksters out there besides us, and that she is a very hot girl. I do confess my self surprised. You're actually falling for her? That's big mate, real big." Sirius confessed leaning back in his chair. He had thought maybe there was something more to Roxy and Jason's relationship than just friends, but he'd honestly thought that it was Roxy who liked Jason.

Remus' brain had completely shifted to the conversation they were having now. It was one thing to know that James and Jason liked someone. The fact was, out of the marauders, Sirius and Remus were the players, the heartthrobs, although Jason and James didn't fall far behind. Both were more sensitive... in a way. Remus' answer had been sort of unexpected even to him, he hadn't meant to sound like he felt exactly that; but he really did... and it seemed like all of his friends did too. Which was surprising.
He had forgotten about his pie by now; curiosity sparking in him. As he opened his mouth to ask the question; Sirius beat him to it. They soon got their answer.
"I think I am falling for Roxanne Weasley." Remus' grin spread swiftly onto his face, and he patted Jason in the back happily. If it had to be anyone, it was good that it was Roxy. But then again, she was practically ONE OF THEM... what would happen if something went wrong? He especially was Mr.Negativty about relationships, because he’d never even had a single one that went good for the girl. But there was the thing... Jason WASN'T him- thank merlin, of course.
"Congratulations, Jas." he said it as if he had just announced his wedding. He then put his hand to his face. "You know... we might have to make her an official member of the marauders if you're seriously dating... or is that automatic?" he looked confused for a moment, then settled on a sharp look as the question he'd been burning to ask bubble to the surface.
"So... we know Jas likes Roxy... and you two?" he smirked at Sirius and James. This should be interesting.

James was, to say the least, surprised at the revealing of who Jason liked. A small grin played across his face as he decided to mess around with Jason and his new revelation. "Wait, lemme get this straight-" He put on a straight face and mock-glared at his friend. "You're falling for my little cousin? Little Roxy Weasley, who is the daughter of one of my favorite uncles?" It was beginning to get a little tough, keeping a straight face. He stood up from his chair, and pretended to start pacing, casting a glance at Jason every once and a while, and flashing a grin at Sirius and Remus.
When he was satisfied with the amount of torture he had put Jason through, he laughed and sat back down. "I'm only joking, Jas. I think it's great that you like her, and definitely think you should ask her out. However, if you try anything with her, you'll have me to answer to." He grinned at hearing himself say those words, but he still meant ever part of it. "Congrats, man." He patted Jason on the back and resumed eating his sandwich.
"Now, now, I wouldn't go that far Remus." He grinned. Of course, making his cousin Roxy a member of the Marauders did sound appealing enough. She was always with them and did prove herself as a great pranker, but James worried about wht kind of tension that could develop if Jason and Roxy broke up.
For a second, James ceased breathing at Remus's question. He had tried his hardest from trying to keep Remus from finding out about him liking Kat, and this question completely threw him off guard. He played off the catch of his breath as a cough and then took another bite of his sandwich. Once he had swallowed and thought of something to say, he replied, "Who said I liked anyone?" He cast an inconspicuous glance at Sirius and Jason, knowing that they knew who he liked, and hoping that they wouldn't say anything.

Sirius rubbed his chin in thought at Remus' comment about making Rox a member of the marauders. "I'd have to agree with James on this one, I donno if it would be a good idea just in case something goes wrong. But she pretty much is anyways so let's just leave it as is." he said, it was true with how things were right now Roxy was pretty much the only female marauder.
Taking a sip of his glass of firewhiskey he ended up chocking on it at Remus' question. Glancing at james quickly he saw the look James was giving him and Jason, remembering James' despertation in making sure Remus didn't know who he liked. He wondered if he should sacrifice himself and who he liked to save James. But on the other hand, who he liked may just make his friends hate him.
Looking up at Remus innocently he tried not to let anything show in his face, "I don't like anyone, I was merely speaking from a past experience." he said in his most convincing voice. Turning back to his plate he grabbed a roast beef sandwhiche and stuffed his mouth with half of it so he couldn't answer any more questions, even if he'd wanted to.
