Teddy walked into Madame Malkin's with Victorie, and surprisingly, didn't argue against getting new dress robes. Normally he wasn't one to worry about something like this, especially just to tell their parents about their decision, but he wanted everything to be perfect for her, and thusly wasn't willing to argue over something to trivial to him.
As they entered the large store, he looked around and reminisced a bit, it seemed like just yesterday that he had been here with Ginny, getting his first set of robes for class. He couldn't wait to tell them, or his paternal parents for that matter, but he knew Victorie was even more excited.

Alright, so Teddy wasn't always the greatest shopping partner, pretty much because according to him, she looked good in everything; even something totally outdated, and kind of worn out. But none the less, he was extremely sweet, and never hesitated when she asked if her outfit made her look fat. But this time... it didn't really matter if he wasn't the perfect shopping person for her because, much to her surprise, he was getting new dress robes.
It was like a dream for Victoire. As soon as he had agreed to it, she had already begun plotting out every little color that matched with his skin. She was almost settled on a coral of some kind, but she knew that in just a few moments her mind would be changed automatically.
She glanced over at him, their hands were intertwined between them, and Victoire almost smirked, because she was holding onto him pretty hard; afraid he would run away screaming once he saw all the things she wanted him to try.
Her excitement didn't seem to die as she shifted through the clothes with her eyes. Victoire turned to him, kissing him lightly on the cheek. "Thank you for doing this honey..." she told him great fully. "See anything you like?"

Teddy looked down at their hands when she squeezed it so hard. It amazed him how something so delicate and beautiful could be so strong. "Jeez Love, I'm not running away... not yet anyways" He grinned, stealing a quick kiss. As they entered, his eyes turned towards a reddish golden set of robes, something that screamed Gryffindor to him. "Anything babe, I just want you to be happy. What do you think of these?" He reached out, drawing the robes to him. "Hmm..."

Victoire let her grip loosen a little, enough to have only an intimate hold on him. Her eyes finished traveling the store and she turned back to him, receiving his kiss, she smiled against his lips and slowly kissed back.
Something seemed to have caught his eyes, because his eyes were no longer focused on her. "Gryffindor man, through and through." she giggled, pulling the robe out of his hand and examining it. "So... tell me the truth, what brought on this need for a wardrobe change?" she looked at him innocently when she asked the question, because although she had wanted to take him shopping many times... he had never really wanted to shop for himself.

"Hey, I don't see you complaining about that" He grinned, wrapping his arm around her. "You don't complain when I open a door for you, or bring you flowers..." He chuckled, then walked up to the robe again, nodding. "This one looks good... really good"
When asked about his sudden need for shopping he chuckled. "I know you too well Vic. I knew you would want me to get new robes for when we tell your parents, and I didn't want to fight about it. This is your moment, I want it to be perfect." He grinned, then softly kissed her forehead. Leaning down, he teasingly whispered in her ear. "I thought maybe we could go shopping for you after..." He chuckled to let her know he was joking. Looking back at the robe, he queried her. "What do you think? Surprise, surprise, I like it."

"I thought maybe we could go shopping for you after..." Victoire let out a little moan of pleasure at the words, just the thought of it was orgasmic. "That's it, it's settled." she whispered. "I'm getting the best husband ever." she giggled loudly, and the lady at the counter shot them a dirty look, probably thinking they were having some kinky experience. Which, knowing Victoire, wouldn't be too uncommon.
She played with the fabric of the robe. "Well, you're going to look wonderful in it, and my mum and dad would never dream of turning you away as my fiance. They have been planning our wedding since I was five." Victoire said her eyebrows raised in a small attempt to make humor out of her mother's slight craziness. It was indeed true that her mother was just a little bit obsessed with the fact of Victoire and Teddy's relationship. It's exactly that that made Victoire sort of scared to tell her. "You know as soon as mum hears we're engaged, she'll go crazy, right?" Victoire smiled happily and shoved the shirt into Teddy's hands, motioning him towards the changing cabin.

"I'm sure between your father and I, we can keep her from wrecking too much in excitement" He joked, taking his robes. As they moved towards the room, he kept his hand in hers. He pulled her with him to the door, but then shook his head at her and released her hand, disappearing into the room alone.
He stood with his back to the curtain, draping his normal robes over the bench. Putting on the red robes, he looked at himself. "Bloody hell I look good..." He moved his hand to the other wrist, noticing the gold bands around the wrists. "Yeah, I look majestic" Smirking, he closed his eyes, taking in a short breath. He spoke softly to himself. "Alright, now time to show Vic... Hope she likes it..."

Victoire found herself giggling at his comment. He was right though, her mother was A LOT like her- foolish in her excitement. She found herself tempted to follow him in and undress him, of course, as the shopping girl she was, she would quickly redress him again so that she wouldn't be tempted to keep undressing him. She gently tapped her now empty hand on the wooden panel off the door, slightly impatient.
"So?" she called out. "How does it look?" she knew very well that it would look beyond good on him and she knew he was probably standing infront of the mirror right now admiring himself. She rolled her eyes, and stepped into the cabin with a swish of the curtain.
Victoire grinned, he looked amazingly handsome and she could feel the light blush creeping on her cheeks. He looked much older and distinguished in his robes and it made her feel all warm and fuzzy. "Mr. Lupin..." she gasped.

Teddy spun around when he heard her voice, a little shocked that she came in. He shouldn't have though, it wasn't the first time that she had followed him into a dressing room. Grinning, he put his hands in her softer, smaller ones. "I take it you like them then? Or should I go get another set?" He chuckled, pulling her a bit closer, smiling. "Now, I promised you I'd go shopping... but I don't know how much longer I can do this Love" He laughed, gently hugging her. "Let's go pay for these, and get some lunch..."

Victoire could tell he jumped a bit at her voice at first, but after all, he was the person who knew her the best, he must've known she'd follow him in. She entwined her fingers in his the moment he offered them to her, and she kissed him lightly on the lips. He made her feel so warm and comfortable, she didn't really mind that the two of them were in a crowded dressing room.
"Yes that sounds like a wonderful idea." she nodded, looking him up and down once more before she turned from him and looked over her shoulder. "I should probably go back in there... the sales lady might get the wrong idea." she chuckled openly, then pulled the curtain back open and slipped out to wait from him on the other side.

Teddy puffed out his chest as she took in his body once more, then chuckled as she left. "Maybe we should give her a reason to have the wrong idea" He laughed, but then quickly changed out of the new, regal red, robes. Throwing on his normal robes again, he quickly joined her on the other side, the red robes folded haphazardly in his hands. Smirking, he walked to the the counter.
After he had paid for them, he offered his free hand to Victorie, smiling brightly. "Leaky Cauldron? Or would you prefer one of more romantic places? I mean, I would love a quiet, secluded lunch with my fiance..." He grinned at the last word, as he did every time he said it. He loved thinking about their special day, but more of their special bond.

Victoire giggled from the other side as spoke, she let her hand run through her hair once, a habit she picked up for when she had to stand still or when she found herself thinking hard. In the few short moments that he was changing she found a beautiful image of what her wedding would lok like in her head and was slightly dazed once Teddy stepped out. She barely realized what happened when he offered her his hand.
Victoire snapped out of it quickly, and took his hand with a smile. "Leaky Cauldron would be fine." she giggled at his last word, it never got old and everytime she head it, it buzzed in her ears. "If you really want, we could go to some little restaurant in Muggle London? We'll be like one of those sappy couples we used to hate watching as friends, remember?" Indeed, when the two of them used to go shopping for Hogwarts together, they used to roll their eyes at those couples, but only because Victoire had secretly longed to be like that with Teddy. Now she got her wish...
