BEHIND THE CHARACTER
NAME :: Renee
AGE :: 16
EXPERIENCE :: Approx. 3 years
GENERAL
FULL NAME :: Renee Labelle "Ren"
AGE :: 16 {Turning 17 SOON}
GENDER :: Female
YEAR/OCCUPATION :: 6th
HOUSE ::[cannon only]
APPEARANCE&&PERSONLAITY
DESCRIPTION ::
Ren isn't very tall, but she's not short, either. She has wavy brown hair that falls just past her shoulders. Her eyes are a stunning blue. She has a fair complexion, and a slender body. She's practically flawless, which is hard to come by. Though of course, like almost any girl, she doesn't always think she looks that great. Either her hair is too frizzy, or her face is too red, doesn't matter what she can always find something wrong.
Her clothing style varies, though she tries to keep it individual. She normally looks a bit dressed up, though she's not really. Jeans and a nice shirt, maybe a jacket. Jewlery is a must. And make-up as well. She has her phases, may it be that one week she really likes her hoop earrings, or maybe she's started to like the school dress code, tie and all....{not likely!} she's your typical teenage girl...but don't tell her that...she wouldn't like it.
PLAYED BY :: Alexis Bledel
PERSONALITY ::
Renee is sweet, with a spicy touch. Kind of like those Sour Patch Kids, in reverse. Sour, Sweet, Gone Only with her, it's Sweet, Sour, Gone. At least that is what she's been like in several relationships. She hooks them with her sweet looks and flirtation, uses them...that would be the sour..., and then leaves them. She doesn't enjoy that, but it happens frequently regardless. She's a flirt, and sometimes that's not so much of a good thing. As Rosie should know; Never judge a book by its cover. That fits with Ren. On the outside, she's this beautiful, sweet girl. Get to know her and she can be a great friend and asset. But she has her weakness...boys. Any boys, Every boy.
Other than her boy obsessing {and now that she has James that has slowed a bit.}, Renee is outgoing, confident, and bubbly. She is, as I have stated, a great friend, and confidant {different from confidEnt}. She'll help you out in any way she can, but she does have a dark side to her, and you don't want to get on her hit list.
FLAWS ::
- Doesn't hold a relationship for long
- Tends to become a "boyfriend stealer"
- No good at Potions, Divination, or Defense Against the Dark Arts
- Falls for the wrong guys for the wrong reasons
- Can't perform healing spells worth anything...
LIKES ::
+ Boys...
+ {specifically speaking...} James Sirius Potter

- Her powers...she's not good with them anyway
LIFE&&HISTORY
HISTORY
As a young girl, Renee loved pretending she had magical powers, but she knew it was impossible. And that faiytales didn't come true. Not long after her father found out that her mother was pregnant...he left her. She'd only seen him once after, but back then she didn't know that he was her father. Her mother was French, and her father was English. Renee was raised by her mother alone. Lived in France, though she's tried desperately to get rid of the accent, and nearly succeded.
One day when Ren was 10, her father showed up at her door. Her mother was so shocked she didn't know what to do. He only wanted to speak with her...with his daughter. He had a small feeling that she would have magical abilities...just as he did. But her mother was a muggle, and he didn't want her thinking he was crazy, and not allowing him to see Renee. Finally her mother agreed and let him speak with Ren. He asked her what seemed to be very strange questions...Has anything wierd happened to you? Done something you couldn't explain? She looked at him quizzically. Who was this man? Why did he care? Yes odd things had happened, but wasn't that normal?
After a long conversation that day, her father left, and things returned to normal. Until she turned 11. On her eleventh birthday, several things happened at once. She recieved two letters, and just as she was opening them the phone rang. It was her father.
"Bonjour! Qui est-ce?"
"Renee?" {In a clearly english accent}
"Oui..."
"Renee, this is your father, did you get it?"
"Get what?"
"The letter."
Renee hung up on her father then. She found him creepy, but who wouldn't find their father creepy if they had only met him a year ago and he somehow knew she'd recieved a letter? Upon opening both letters she found she had been accepted to two schools. One a French-based magic school, and the other...Hogwarts.
After much persuasion on her father's part, she attended Hogwarts. But never traveled to her father's house. She always ended up returning to her mother's...
During her first year of Hogwarts, Renee felt very alone. Very lost, and still quite confused. Maybe this wasn't the happy ending she had longed for. She had always dreamed of the father she never had. Now that she knew him, he wasn't the Prince Charming she had hoped her mother had found. He was a freak. In her eyes and her mothers. And she was just like him. Magical ability. She hated it.
As the years progressed, Ren learned to deal with the fact that she had magical powers, but refused to keep in contact with her father. She met Rosie Weasley, who took her on her first broomride. {Which though she didn't admit it, she was both enjoying and fearing for her life...}
In her third year, she turned 14. And had her fist kiss. It wasn't the best, but at the same time it was great. Though it was like poison, addicting. Nothing ever happened with the boy that kissed her. But she was hooked. Why the things happened the next few years, she didn't know. She went into several relationships, all ending in broken hearts. But never her heart. She'd captured the hearts of many guys and their girlfriends hated her. Which was to be expected.
In her 6th year everything changed. She took a dare from Rosie, vowing to kiss the next guy that came around. {Apparently Rosie didn't know her history.} Turns out that James was the next person to walk by. And she kissed him. Rosie was disgusted. But Ren loved it. And she couldn't help but do it again. And flirt until he was hers. All hers. And soon after, she actually fell for him. Not like she had for all the other guys...this was something more. Rosie was angry with them. Ren was stealing him away from Rowan, whoever that was, Ren didn't know nor care. Through the next few encounters she fell for James. Not just his kiss. And then they made it official. Because she admitted to him that she felt strongly for him...and he did as well. Now they're inseperable, but Renee fears that at some point he'll get tired of her, and it'll be her time for a heartbreak.

RP SAMPLE ::
It was only around 5 in the morning when the bird ran into her window. Coraline sighed and crept out of bed, and opened the window. This didn't happen very often. She looked down underneath her window, but no bird was there. "Must've flown off." She muttered, proud to be speaking in English for once, instead of Greek. As she sat down on her bed, the window still open so a breeze could come through, she grabbed her pencil and paper again, working on more songs. Just then, the owl flew in. She gasped. An owl? What was an owl doing out at 5 in the morning when the sun is coming up, and more specifically...what is an owl doing in her bedroom?!? It dropped a letter on her lap. She opened it, and read it. Then she read it again. And once more. She read it until she nearly had it memorized and had completely forgotten that the owl was there and it flew away. By then the sun had come up and she ran from her room shouting; "ÌçôÝñá! ÐáôÝñáò! Mother! Father!" And she showed them the letter.
Coraline woke up suddenly. She looked around her. Yes, still in her dorm room at Hogwarts. It seemed SO real, though! But it was real...6 years ago that is. Coral looked out her window, still dark out, was it day or night? She looked at a clock near one of the girls' bed. 3:19AM....she sighed and lay back down, closing her eyes. She drifted off, if only for a bit.
"But the forest is FORBIDDEN"
"Just more reason that nobody gets caught going there, Coral."
"This is only my first year! I don't want to start a bad reputation..."
He rolled his eyes. "You really care, don't you? I mean, it's not just that you have to be good...it's that you want to."
"Well...yeah."
Coraline's eyes shot open again. She sat up straight and stretched. Seriously, what was with all these flashback dreams? She yawned and looked over at the clock. 4:27. "You have to be kidding me..." She grumbled. Sighing, she knew there was no way she would be getting any more sleep. So she got up, dressed, and walked down to the common room, a dark book in her arms. Lately she'd been reading a lot of dark books. Really looking into it all. Analyzing it. Thinking it all through. It really interested her. She was probably one of the brightest students, knew several spells, but she'd never use them against anyone. Coral sat down in front of the fire, opened the book and began to read.
