Minor Disturbances [open]

Evelyn ran up the pathway to the owlery, her bag crashing against the side of her leg. She peeked into the owlery & let out a breathe of relief. "Oh thank GOD!" She muttered to herself. She'd just left the Gryffindor common room & it was way too loud for her to concentrate on the responding letter she was writing to her parents. She sat on a window sill. opened her bag, & pulled out her quill & parchment. "Hmm... What the hell was I gonna write?" She thought aloud. She sat in thought for a while then shook her head & began to write. She wrote for a while, then looked up to discover someone had walked into the owlery.

Lucinda walked into the Owlery. She was wearing her school uniform but her robe was shoved in her bag. She seen the gryffindor and smiled abit. She went over and called down her owl who immeadliatly flew to her shoulder. She sat on a clean area of the ground and began writing a letter to her parents. She really didn't want to write them but needed to. After a moment she sighed and stroked her owls wing. She wasn't happy it was plain and clear. Potter had been bothering her the day before and she was still angry. She would never gain no trust of anyone. She knew that for fact. After a few moments she sent the letter off with her owl and just sat there.

Evelyn continued to write her letter, glancing up occasionally at the Slytherin. She glared at the snake, shook her head & scoffed. "Bloody snakes..." she muttered to herself before calling her brother's owl down. As the owl flew down to her, Evie shot a look at the girl again as she rolled up the parchment & attached it to the owl's leg.

"If you have something to say go ahead and say it. May as well. Everyone else does." Lucinda said looking at the girl, "I don't even know you and you already hate me which is no surprise everyone does." She looked down sadly. It was truth no one like her except people she was close to. Which was only three people.

Evelyn sighed. "You're a snake.... & a Malfoy. Im a Lion... & a Thomas. Your father personally tortured my father, uncles, & aunts... when they were in school. Been taught to stay clear." She sent the owl off. "I only expect you to act like a typical snake. So go ahead." Evelyn turned around. "Surprise me." She said sarcastically.

"Would you believe me if I said I was completely opposite and hate my Father and Hate being in slytherin?" She looked at her and said, "You probably don't believe me. No one ever does." Lucinda said was a sigh. She pushed her hair from her face and stood. She looked out the window at the sky.

Evelyn crossed her arms & watched the girl. "Prove it." She said simply. She had to see if the girl was lying. She certainly didnt sound like a Malfoy.... But then again, she could he a lying snake. The only way she could even think about believing the girl was is she was about to prove that she wasnt a typical Malfoy.... or snake.

"How do you want me to? Let you see my memory of my sorting? That should be proof enough." Lucinda said. She crossed her arms and said, "When I was sorted I was placed in slytherin cause I told the hat to put me there. I would have went to gryffindor if I didn't and now I wish I had gone to gryffindor. I went to slytherin so my dad wouldn't hate me and disown me because if he had I would have no where to go. Then I thought my dad loved me but all he cares about is money and blood status. He doesn't care about anything else."

Evelyn studied the girl for awhile. She uncrossed her arms & sighed deeply. "Well..." she walked over to her. "Im Evelyn Thomas. Call me Evie." She put her hand out to the girl. "I guess... since you hate your dad.... We can at least be civil." She smiled slightly, her hand still out.

Lucinda smiled and shook her hand, "At least someone wants to be. James Potter just likes to annoy the hell out of me. I guess I always throe the first spell but I have a short temper. I'm Lucinda by the way, Lucinda Malfoy. Most call me Luce or Luci." She released the girls hand and re crossed her arms.

Evelyn nodded slightly at Luci. At the mention of James Potter, she shook her head. "Geez. James is a big pest." She sat back down. "He's like.... extended family.... or something. Weasleys are my cousins... Since Ginny Weasley is my Uncle Bill's sister & thats James' mom.... he's like.....whatever." She was confusing herself. She shook her head & leaned back against the wall. "So... who did your dad marry? I mean.... whose your mom? Uncle Ron always says that your dad was in love with this ugly chick named Pansy......" She smirked slightly.

"My Mother is Astoria. Don't ask anything about her all I know is she's my Bitch of a Mother." Lucinda sighed, "Don't feel bad about a whacko family line. I have psycho mass murderer's and Ex Dark Lord Followers as family. My Aunt is Bellatrix Lestrange. Besides I'm related to Sirius and Dorcas Black. Because my grandmother Narcissa Malfoy is Sirius' Sister and Nymphadora Tonks who is Sirius Cousin who's married to Remus Lupin and Their Son Teddy Lupin is somehow tied to the Weasley and Potter Family. So in a sense everyone has a whacky family."

Evelyn took in all of the family talk & sat silent for a minute after she finished. "Hm... So... You're telling me that we're related.... We're like... distant cousins? Or something.....?" She said slowly, still thinking it all through. "Hmmmmm....."

"Well if I'm right on the whole family thing than I think so." Lucinda said she started thinking again and said, "You never know though."She cracked her neck and stood there, "So what were doing up here?" She knew it had to be mailing a letter but she was curious. She put her hair back in a pony tail and looked at the other owls. She seen her sister and brothers owl and gave them a treat.

"Hmmm......" Evelyn repeated. "I was sending a letter back to my mom & dad. They're going crazy about Alex & its driving me crazy!" She shook her head & looked in her bag. She pulled out some Honeydukes chocolate, took a bite, then offered some to Lucinda.
