DESCRIPTION ::
James was born, as all babies are, with blue eyes. As he developed into a toddler, his eyes started changing in a light brown. The years went on and James was finally a little boy with fully developed brown, bright, gorgeous eyes. His mother, whose eyes were dark brown, and his father, whose eyes were a bright green, formed the almost perfect "mix" for James's eyes. Unfortunately for James, his father's poor eyesight passed on to him and he has to wear glasses. James, however, thinks glasses are stupid and hardly ever wears them.
His hair is dark brown and looks almost black in certain lights. It is not too short but not too long, because James dislikes having his hair too short. Unlike his father, when James brushes his hair, it actually lies flat...atleast for a little while. On mornings that he is late to class and he jumps out of bed, his hair is a mess, but still looks pretty good. After Quidditch practice, his hair looks windswept but in a good way. For formal parties, James makes his hair nice and tame.
His face has a sort of wide frame, which is a little different from his father's, whose is thin. He has thin lips and a normal sized nose, which he thinks is too long but is just right. His eyebrows are almost never seen, due to the fact that his hair is always covering them. James has a distinctive mark right next to his nose, which his mom says "gives him character". James doesn't quite like it. Like some boys his age, James has facial hair. Most of the time it's just a little scruff on his upper lip and chin. He never lets it grow into a full beard, but sometimes he is too lazy to trim his facial hair and he looks a little bit scruffier than usual. For formal events, James is always clean-shaven.
If there is one thing James can surely state, is that Quidditch has done him some MAJOR good. Because of all the grueling, hard practices, it has made his body muscular and lean. He stands at 6 foot 3, and weighs about 150 pounds- the perfect build for a Quidditch player. James grew a little faster than most boys in his class and was always a bit subconcious about his height. When he came back for his 7th year, he was no longer the tallest boy and felt better about himself.
James's clothes preference is not that of a normal wizard boy. He would rather wear just a regular jeans and t-shirt outfit rather than a robe. On days where he has no classes, you can find him wearing what most kids in the school would call "muggles clothes". When asked why he wears these clothes he says, "It's just what I'm most comfortable in." However, Hogwarts does have uniforms and James is forced to wear them everyday that he has school.

PERSONALITY ::
James is what you could call a trickster. He doesn't go one day without pulling some sort of prank on an annoying Slytherin or doing something to pester the Caretaker. The best way to describe him is to say that he takes after his uncles, Fred and George. He is always finding new spells that'll make you trip, have random hiccuping fits, or make you scream out in the middle of class. The best thing is, he never seems to get tired of it.
However, when he is not out pulling a prank on someone, he is a generally nice kid. He is quite the gentleman to the ladies and tries his hardest not to be too rude around his friends. The only time when James shows his temper is when he is up against a nasty Slytherin or trying to defend his friends. When his temper shows it is quite nasty and is something you don't want to get in the way of. James, like his father, is quite advanced in Defense Against the Dark Arts and knows quite a lot of defensive and offensive spells to help him out in a duel.
Another great quality of James is that he is not shy or quiet, but actually quite outspoken. Granted, the quality has not always been good for him, seeing as how he could be "outspoken" towards a teacher. This usually ends up with him having a 2 hour detention cleaning the awards in the Trophy Room. However, this quality helps him out so he is not completely trampled on and can actually voice his opinions.

- Has issues with "right" and "wrong".

- Can't concentrate on schoolwork when a pretty girl is in the room.

LIFE&&HISTORY
HISTORY::
James Sirius Potter was the firstborn child of Harry Potter, and his wonderful wife, Ginny. The lovely couple met while at Hogwarts and then finally got into a serious relationship after the defeat of Lord Voldemort. The Boy Who Lived took 2 whole years to pop the question to Ginny and they got engaged. A year later the two were happily married. Four happy, loving, and fun-filled years later, Ginny became pregnant with James. When Ginny and Harry got the news that she was pregnant, they were overwhelmed with happiness. James was born and the family was happier than ever.
James grew up in the his father's Godfather's house, Grimmauld Place. With regular visits from all of his aunts and uncles, James became very familiar with the Weasley family and loved every single one of them, and that was saying something seeing as how big the family was. A year after James was born, his younger brother Albus Severus came into the world. When James got a little bit older, he started to find his younger brother's name a bit funny, that was until he found out the meaning behind it. He loved how his parents named both of them, their names showing deep care for people they knew. A few years later, Lily Luna, his younger sister, was born.
Being the oldest of three kids was not as thrilling as some people may think it is. James always seemed to be stuck taking care of his younger siblings and helping out with his parents because "You're the oldest and it's your responsibility. When your mother and I aren't around anymore, you are going to have to take care of your brother and sister." James HATED hearing that. Every time he complained, he always got that speech. However, James loved his baby brother and sister and would do anything to protect them.
James's first year at Hogwarts was fun, but terrifying. It didn't help that his cousin, Victoire, and Teddy Lupin decided to tell him that to get into Gryffindor, he had to battle a Slytherin. All he could do was thank God that this wasn't true and that his Aunt Hermione was there to tell them off before he actually pulled his wand out on a Slytherin. After the horrifying Sorting Feast, things started to progress and James was okay. When things got tough, however, trips to go see Professor Longbottom or Victoire helped.
James's first mischievous streak started out right before he left for Hogwarts for the first time. You see, James had snuck into his father's office and had stolen the Marauder's Map from his desk. He took the map with him to school and would try every spell his little First Year mind knew to try and get it to reveal its secrets. Finally, with a little help from his from his two favorite uncles, the Marauder's Map was his to use and helped him out a lot. He used it as sort of a safety net through his first year, helping him avoid the Caretaker and such, but his Second Year was a different story.
At Platform 9 3/4, James finally got his revenge on Victoire and Teddy for tricking him about the sorting. He had spotted the two snogging on the platform and immediately ran and told the family. James was quite happy with himself after everyone teased Victoire for a bit about the snog.
In James's 4th year he had his first girlfriend. She was a really nice girl and they had a fun time, but things didn't work out. James dated on an off with a bunch of girls, but never really had a long-term relationship, as much as he wanted one. James is waiting for the right girl to come along and steal his heart.
Now James is in his 7th and final year at Hogwarts, and is looking to make this the best year of his life. There will be pranks galore, many duels, and hopefully he'll find a great girl. With the Marauder's Map at his side and his cousins and siblings there with him, he's ready for anything.

RP SAMPLE ::
Moving without a sound, James quickly made his way to a niche in the wall, avoiding one of the teachers that was roaming the hallways looking for out-past-curfew miscreants. Swiftly pulling out his wand from his pocket along with a blank piece of parchment, he muttered a soft, "Lumos".
At once, the tip of his wand ignited with a tiny light and he could plainly see the piece of parchment he had in front of him. Taking a quick glance to see where the teacher had gone, he muttered softly, tapping the piece of paper with his wand, "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." The paper automatically started showing the map of the school which he had seen so many times before.
Holding his wand up, he quickly observed the sheet of paper to note the quickest way back to the dorm without bumping into any teachers. While observing one section of the map, he failed to realize that a teacher was on his way down the exact same hallway that James was located in. James heard the footfalls and said hurriedly, "Mischief managed." He stuffed the sheet back into his pocket, said "Nox" and bolted out of the niche in the wall, not caring if the teacher saw him.
He heard the teacher yelling after him, telling him to slow down which made James chuckle. "Escaped again." he said to himself with a grin as he slowed down his stride to a walk.
"Not quite, Mr. Potter." James's heart stopped as he turned around and saw a different teacher standing behind him. "Crap."
