Teddy's owl flew in during breakfast, searching the tables for his target, Mr. James Potter. He had strict orders to deliver the letter to nobody else, since nobody knew of the contents.
When he saw the eldest Potter, he dropped the letter in front of him, and stayed at the table, waiting for a scrap of food.
Though it contained few words, it's message was clear.
"James-- We need to talk. Concerns me and Vic. See you at 3 Broomsticks this weekend. Ted"

James was enjoying an early breakfast with his friends, before they had to head out for their classes. The din of the Great Hall was surpisingly loud, seeing at how it was 7 in the morning. James was eating some eggs and toast, his favorite breakfast.
With a stretch, James nodded and leaned back in his chair. He was still quite tired, seeing as how he didn't get much sleep last night because he was trying to finish his homework. Just as James was about to pick up his fork again, there was a loud screeching noise coming from up above. "Ah...post time." he said looking up at all the owls. To his surprise, one of the owls came and landed right in front of him, with a letter addressed to him. This wasn't that much of an odd occurence, because every once and a while he would get an owl from his parents or uncles.
He took the letter off of the owl's leg and then gave him a piece of his toast. He opened the letter and saw that it was from Ted. He requested that he meet him at the Three Broomsticks this weekend to talk about him a Vic. With a shrug, James pulled out a piece of parchment from his bag a scribbled a quick response of "Okay" on it and then tied it back onto the owl's leg and watched it fly away. He wondered what Ted wanted to talk about.
