Lilith had just finished up dinner and she really wasn't in the mood to go back to the common room and listen to people gossip and do all the boring stuff. When she remembered she still had a DADA paper due the next morning. She hated that her parents were notified about her lack off being as dedicated to her school work as she had always been. Lilith opened her messenger bag and made sure had all her study materials.
She slowly drug herself up to the library and made is known that she wanted to take her time. Once she finally got to her normal corner and brought out her parchment and quills and went into the non-fiction area and started looking she found a book on the three forbidden curses and than started walking back to her seat. She 'accidentally' found her way to her preferred reading section and grabbed out a book that looked appealing to her.
Then she hid it behind her subject reading and walked back to the table. She made herself comfortable and set the book by her bag and started her homework. She read and took notes and even started a very well researched but than her weakness took over. She didn't want anyone she knew to well to see her reading for fun. So she grabbed her fun book and started reading it behind the subject book and was soon captivated.
She was only taken back to the world when someone started walking close to her. She looked up as she saw a girl and didn't think much of it. She figured that she was there with friends. But Lilith went back to reading her book deep in thought when the chair across from her moved she looked up at first her attitude said cold even though her eyes showed something of a caring mood.

Lucinda walked in wearing her slytherin robes and her blonde hair bouncing which each step she took. She went to the Defence Against the Dark Arts (DADA) Section and grabbed 4 books. She held them in her arms and grabbed one more and headed over to a table. She placed them down carefully and took from her school bag her Defence Book, several pieces of partchment, a well of ink and set to work. She cracked open all the books to various chapters and dipped her quill into her baby blue ink and began writing in her neat scriptive writing, her name, her year, house and the date. She set to work on the essay also in neat scriptive writing and made sure she had proper punctuation, spelling, and indentation. She knew the teachers like it better than the chicken scratched, jumbled up crap the other students handed in. She pulled her legs up in the chair and sat indian style as she worked quietly. She then noticed another girl at a neighboring table.

Lilith was quiet as she read and she put her defense against the dark arts book and went to her section of the library and found yet another book this one was very thick. She checked it out and brought it back to the table she was at. She noticed the girl was really working hard and she stopped and looked at the movements of her quill. She decided it must be easier to work with someone. She got up with her book and went over to the girl. She had to wonder how it was she was related to her parents or her brothers they were all so shy and she was as well but when she was board she would go up and meet someone.
She made her way to the girl and didn't mean to bug her. She said in a type of softer voice. " Um hi... I don't mean to bother but I figure that since we are both do homework maybe we could work together...." Lilith trailed off being quiet again. That was how she found the relation to her family not great communication skills. She was brought from her mindless thinking when the girl spoke.

"Sure. Have a seat." Lucinda said [ulling the books closer to make room for the girl. "What subject are you doing and what year. I maybe able to help you if its Defence or Divination." She gave a small smile and continued to write on the partchment as her finger ran along some text within the book. She stopped and looked back up, "By the way, I am Lucinda, Lucinda Malfoy, you can call me Lucy. Everyone else does."

Lilith smiled a little bit and pulled out one of the chairs across from the girl. She sat down with one foot on the floor and her other bent vertically on the chair and rested her chin on her knee making herself very much comfortable and listened to the girl intently. She nodded and saw that the girl was working on defense as well. " Defense. I'm fifth year. Fun huh?"
She laughed a little this year just seemed different from the years like she wasn't really able to slack off in her classes. She nodded and said " Nice to meet you Lucy I'm Lilith. Lilith Snape, But people call me Lil. So you can call me which ever I’m really not all that picky. Sometimes I answer to hey you as well."
She smiled and took out her own ink well of jet-black ink. She started writing her essay in her neat script and said, " I see you are working on Defense as well. I am really actually lost in this class. But it's my fault falling asleep in class isn't always a way to get on the good side of the professors." She looked down thinking she was being too talkative for anyone's liking but she waited for Lucy to tell she to shut up.

"Great can really help you. We're in the same class then. I'm in Fifth year as well. And I know its hard to stay awake in classes sometimes. I skipped class a few days ago and have to get that plus the defence essay. Shouldn't be to hard though. Just have to take phrases out of the books and rephrase them differently so the teacher don't know we copied word from word to the book."

Lilith smiled at Lucy and seriously was about to hug her. She let her hair fall into her face a little. She nodded and smiled. " Yeah I know what you mean. I seriously could hug you right now I suck at staying awake in that class wishes I could skip. But if word got back to my parents that I did I could say well by to the outside world. That seems pretty smart now why didn't I think of that? Could save me a whole bunch more time."
She looked over and started to rephrase things and before she knew it she was over a quarter of the way done with her paper. Her eyes grew wide and looked up at Lucy like a clueless puppy. She put her quill into the ink well once again and said, " Oh my gosh I have never done a paper so fast. That was a very helpful hint. Thanks"
Lilith smiled and let her ink dry for a moment and rolled it up and put it in her messenger bag. She stacked her book up on the pile she had now accumulated and realized she had the rest of her homework done. She smirked a bit not wanting to leave yet and took out her potions book and another piece of parchment she would get a head start on her potions homework. As she did she asked. " How is your year going so far? This will be a mega stupid question but how do you get away with skipping and your parents not knowing."
Lilith now felt like a child learning new things for the first time. But she also felt a little slow for not already knowing how to do the simple task already.

"My year is going as good as it can be, and I told my teachers the next day that I wasn't feeling well and didn't go to the hospital wing. They accepted it. Even though it was a lie. If word had gotten back to my Father I would have been in Hot water. I already am on the edge of being disowned which doesn't bother me. I would disown myself if I had other family that wanted me but in the Malfoy family all there is, is a bunch of psychos and murderers."

Lilith listened and knew where Lucy was coming from. As she took her quill and dipped it in the ink again she let her deep brown eyes drift up to the page she was looking at and smiled. " Yeah I know what you mean all to well. I mean I'm not in boiling water but defiantly hot. So I might have to take your advice one of these days. But i know my dad and he has my brothers watching me like hawks."
She laughed a little and looked at her essay as she started to write again. She smiled a bit as she thought about it all she than added. " But in a way even if I'm not ever too happy with my family all times i guess i couldn't just drop everything to leave them though sometimes i think it could be easier. SO until i get out of school and my own money I think I am stuck."
Lilith laughed a little bit she sounded like her age for once. Thought she felt a little guilty for not ever really admitting it but at this point in her life no matter how much her family annoyed her she did need them even though she was raised to know that she couldn't always reply on anyone but herself. She was determined to find a way to gain approval from everyone including her father and prove to them she was just as good as her brothers were.

Lucinda nodded and said, "I think I could handle myself if I could find a place to stay and a way to pay for my school stuff." Lucinda said, "Being a Malfoy sucks. I wish I could just head out to the horizon and never look back." She laughed a little.

Lilith smiled and laughed a little. She nodded and was going to offer her spare room but she waited a minuet. After she waited and read her own things. She started to speak" Well with your smarts I'm sure you could easily make it on your own no questions about that. But I'm guessing your father would never allow it.?"
Lilith looked down and than realized she might be being a little to nosy and she stopped writing and looked up at Lucy for the first time since she had sat down. " I'm sorry if I am being nosy I really don't mean to be." She looked down and bit her lip and went back to writing. Quietly and felt like she was years or hours in silence but she was getting used to it. But just as she was Lucy started speaking making her jump a little as she looked back up from her book that was in her lap that she was paying more attention to than her homework. But she didn't think anyone could tell.

"My Dad is Draco Malfoy. My Grandfather is Lucius Malfoy. I'm A Seer. I highly doubt they'd let me go that easily. One because they still believe in the darkside and Two If it comes back I'm a big help to it. But if they found out my true self and that I was almost placed in gryffindor and that I am a traitor to the family I'll be kicked out or Merlin only knows what." Lucinda said.

Lilith looked and watched and listened to the girl and her eyes grew and her head seriously felt like it had done a 180. She closed her eyes and re-opened them and mouthed a silent wow to herself. She than looked up at the girl and saw her traits and really could see that she was related to them. She looked down and she really understood now and looked at her and said. " Well you have gifts and a mess."
She said tiring to lighten the mood a little. She looked up and than said. " Well that sucks majorly about your family but you probably already knew that. But if it counts for anything and your father and grandfather weren't Slytherin I think you would have been excellent in Gryffindor. As for the Seer thing that's awesome wish I had something cool like that. But honestly I know I don't know you all that well yet but. I think that if this said dark side did really come back that you could find people to help you out of having to serve with it if you truly didn't want to. Even if your father is Draco Malfoy. But granted that really would present a hard obstacle to over come but I’m sure with the right minds it could defiantly happen." She said trying to sound hopeful.

"Being a seer is both a gift and a curse. It all depends on your view point." Lucinda said with a sigh. "If I had went to gryffindor there's really no telling what my parents would have done." Lucinda closed her books and dried her essay off. She capped her ink and put it in her bag. "I'm surprised you didn't realize I was a malfoy sooner. I look alot like my Dad. have a girl version of my grandfathers name. It sucks."

" Well I did hear you say your last name was Malfoy. I give it to you, You have the looks of the malfoy's but your attitude seems different from what I have heard they are and you seem more accepting to people and your name I really can't say that it doesn't suck if you look at it that way. But you look at it as a nice name that could instill fear in someone, than its not as bad I mean it respected at least...."
She looked at her and smiled and said," I am apparently named after my fathers crush while he went here. My mother isn't such a big fan. Let me tell you from the time he named me she hated it and regretted giving him the privilege of naming me."
She chuckled a little bit more as she thought about her." She has never let it go actually...."
