It had been a week. Seven days, lots of hours, millions of minutes, and three times the seconds. Elizabeth Jane Weasley was still feeling depressed. She didn't know what was wrong wit her. She just wasn't feeling much like herself lately.
The whole situation puzzled Lizzie. There was no logical explanation for it. She wasn't in an argument with any friends, or siblings. She wasn't getting a bad grade anywhere. She wasn't even behind in any class. Anything that would make Lizzie feel out of sync with herself, didn't fit the puzzle. She loved solving puzzles, except for this one. There weren't any pieces to fit the frame.
Lizzie sat at a corner table in the library. She had a book in front of her and open but, she was merely staring at it. For the course of the day, she had been trying to figure out what in Merlin's beard was wrong with her. She couldn't seem to come to any solutions. Maybe it's because of that stupid ball... she thought. She normally went to all the balls, and she had decided not to go to this one. Why?
That can be explained quite simply. Lizzie wasn't about to go around asking a boy to it. That was the "rule" the girls asked the boys. Lizzie found that silly, probably because it wasn't traditionally. Liz was an old fashioned type when it came to things like that. That's a shame, it would be fun. I suppose I could go myself.. she thought. The past few balls she had gone herself, that was all no thanks to her elder brother Cooper.
So, here she sat, sulking over herself basically. It wasn't long before someone came around to where she was sitting...

Lucinda was wearing a spaghetti strap shirt that was black, and a pair of black leather pants with black stilleto boots. She had a book in her hand and was browsing the shelf for another one. Her arm was wrapped in gauze and in a sling from her previous suicidal attempt the days before. She found it and placed her book on the edge of the shelf and took the one she found and put it on top of her other book and picked them up. She seen Lizzi and walked over, "Hey, Lizzi, Whats wrong? You ok?" She asked
