"Gimme a reason...why I can't concentrate. The world is turning upside down, spinning round and round. Gimme a reason...why I now understand, the beauty and simplicity of everything surrounding me," Katherine mumbled softly under her breath as she picked up a package of dungbombs and inspected the writing. For some reason, the packaging looked so much different than the last time she'd bought any. Then again, it had been ages since she'd done any shopping in Zonko's. She far preferred to get her gags and pranks in the Weasley's shop but she' just had the urge to pop into Zonko's today.
Setting the dungbombs back on their shelf, she danced her fingertips along the shelf and over a few other objects. There wasn't any specific reason she'd entered the shop and she certainly didn't have a special item that she intended to buy. Kat was merely looking for something to catch her eye. Though she wasn't a major prankster or anything, she did have her moments. If given the right inspiration, she wasn't completely against causing a little havoc. Not that this trip would result in mischief being made or anything...

Rosalynn was just kind of wandering down the street when she decided to visit Zonko's, she hadn't been there in a while and wanted to look around. Entering the store, she heard a bell chime, marking her entrance. Walking down one of the isles, she spotted Katherine Finnigan looking at a package of dungbombs.
"Planning anything special?" She asked the girl as she put back down the package. Rosa looked at the shelf opposite the dungbombs and smirked, finding some special firecrackers that might be fun to use.

Hearing a voice, Kat's head snapped up to see a familiar face. It was Lucinda Malfoy's younger sister Rosalynn. Giving the girl a soft, friendly smile, Katherine replied, "Oh, no, nothing special really. It's just been ages since I've been in here so I thought I'd stop in to have a look around." Which was the complete and total truth. Letting her fingers wrap around a jar of invisible ink, she picked it up and looked at the bottle's lable.
"How about you? Surely you must be planning something," she asked half jokingly. If anyone would have told her father that his "pride and joy" would be friends with someone named Malfoy, he'd have called them liars. But, as far as Kat was concerned, surnames meant nothing...same with house. Lucinda and Rosalynn were awesome girls and she couldn't imagine have two better friends.

Rosalynn smiled back at the reply, taking a closer look at one of the boxes of firecrackers. "Oh, I'm not planning anything specific, just seeing if anything strikes my fancy." She replied, before adding, "Since I'm not allowed at Weasleys' Wizarding Wheezes, I always come here for stuff." Rosa smirked slightly as she picked up a few boxes of firecrackers 'just in case' she needed them for something. She was starting to plan around the firecrackers.

"Same reason I'm here too," said the Hufflepuff girl as she read the label carefully. Grinning to herself, she tossed it up in the air and let it fall back into her right hand. It was just what she need to pass notes...not that she did it a lot. Sometimes, though, when she was in just the right class with just the right peers, she fell into the habit of exchanging notes. The worst part was getting caught and being made to read the notes aloud. That was where the invisible ink would come in handy.
Kat looked back to see Rosalynn picking up a few boxes of firecrackers. "You know, if you'd like, I can snag you an order sheet and then you can just fill in what you want from the Weasleys' shop...then I can pick up the things for you," she offered with a bright smile on her face, "There's ways around little things like that really."

Rosa laughed, turning and saying, "Well, I just may take you up on that. I've seen their firecrackers and they're really awesome." She smiled, moving down the aisle a little to pick up some other firecrackers. "Do you happen to have any suggestions for a firecracker based prank?" Rosa asked, turning to face Kat, arms full of different kinds of firecrackers. She was pretty sure she had a good plan for the firecrackers, she just needed to figure out the getaway part.

Kat hadn't been expecting to be asked for input on a prank. She'd pulled a few in her years at Hogwarts but never really anything too big. Putting her right index finger under her chin, she pondered it for a moment or two. It was a tough one. Most of hers involved dye, dungbombs, memory charms and transfiguration. "I suppose it depends on your intended target really," she replied after a moment or two, "Or where you want to pull the prank at least."
Pulling her wand out of her pocket, along with a crumpled up piece of parchment, Kat decided to transfigure her paper into a small handbasket. After putting her wand away, she set the bottle of invisible ink into her basket and offered it to Rosa too, so that she didn't have to carry all of the boxes of firecrackers. Thinking a little more, she asked, "What did you have in mind? Maybe I can help with expanding on your idea..."

Rosa smiled, "Thanks." She said as she added her firecrackers to the basket. "Well, my main idea was maybe something during the Snow Ball, like a big finale type thing." She replied, shrugging slightly. "I was planning on getting input from a few people, starting with you." Rosa smiled at her friend, wondering if she would have any ideas for the prank. It would be more fun if she could get more people than just herself into the plan.

Giving Rosalynn a nod that practically said "you're welcome," Katherine continued down the aisle with her eyes scanning each shelf. As she pondered the new details, she thought aloud, "Perhaps a prank punch bowl...something smuggled in toward the end of the dance. You could have all of your fireworks all timed out...you know, start off with the short smokey type for effect...then set the rest off."
Considering she'd seen a fair share of firework and lighting shows, she recalled some of the things she had watched. Pausing for a second, she asked, "Do you think you could come up with a way to have all the lighting go out? If you really want a big bang, fireworks in a foggy and dark setting are amazing. That and it helps cause confusion so no one knows who set the whole thing up."

Rosalynn fell into thought as Kat talked, adding to her mental planning. "I don't know of a way to turn off all of the lights yet, but I should be able to find a way before the dance." Rosa commented shrugging. "And I already have some fog things from a past plan I had that I never ended up going through with." She fell into thought again, following Kat down the aisle.

"I don't want to push my way into your prank...but if you'd like, I can set the lights off for you," Katherine offered with a thoughtful expression on her face. She knew the perfect cloaking charm that would temporarily shut all of the lighting in the Great Hall off for long enough to set off a good fireworks prank. It would also save Rosalynn from having to organize everything while still worrying about getting caught. Still, though, she didn't want to make it seem like she was trying to take over on anything. It was, after all, Rosalynn's prank and she should have all the glory when it came to it anyway.
Fog things... Katherine thought about it and nodded in approval. That would work perfectly without the potential for the smokey fireworks to not give off the proper effect. Going down the next aisle, she continued to look over the interesting items on each shelf. "A past plan? Do you mind if I ask you what it was?" she questioned to make more conversation
