Lauri had just got in to England the day before today. He had flown in on a muggle airplane from Helsinki, Finland to the London Airport. Now, he was happy to be in Hogsmeade. Lauri had all of his books and supplied ready to go for when school started back up.
He walked down the somewhat busy streets in long black pants and a tight white tee-shirt that had some black designs on it. His hair had gotten longer over the summer and it fell down to a little past his shoulders. He kept the feather in his hair though, always.
His head was down and his hands were in his pockets when he noticed that he was coming to one of his favorite stores. Honeydukes! He wasn't the biggest fan of candy, but he loved the smell of the shop. His favorites were chocolate frogs and muggle licorice. He removed his hand from his pocket and pushed open the door the the shop. He walked in a little bit and inhaled. He was in heaven! He walked around and began to browse shelves. Hopefully soon he'd be meeting up with some of his old buddies that he'd missed so much. [/size]

Ahh, Honeydukes. James's favorite store in Hogsmeade. That is, with the exception of his two favorite uncle's store. That store was the best. But Honeydukes came in close second, James reassured himself as he walked to the candy shop. Now, he would never admit this to his cousins, especially Evelyn who called him the "Honeydukes Whore". But this didn't keep him from going there.
He was glad that it was slightly warm out so he didn't have to bundle up in multiple jacket and scarves. For a kid that grew up in England, he still had a low tolerance for the cold. Finally, he was at the store, so he opened the door and was surprised at what he saw.
"Lauri!" He yelled when he saw his friend. Walking over to him with a grin, he clapped him on the shoulder and said, "How you been, man?! I haven't seen you since before summer!"

Lauri had picked up a package of chocolate frogs and was browsing for some more items when he heard the door of the shop open and his name. He turned around and saw his old friend, James coming toward him. Lauri grinned rather widely and returned the slap of the shoulder to James.
"James!" he said. "I have been very good over the summer. How have you been?" Lauri was extremely happy to see a good friend of his, because he had started to feel rather lonely. Even though he had only een there less than a day. "I just returned from Finland yesterday and have been looking foward to see you and my other friends."
Lauri glanced back at the shelves and pulled another item that caught his eyes moments before and then ran his hands through his hair to put it behind his shoulders. (Not in a gay way)

"How was Finland, by the way?" James asked as he watched his friend pull some candy off of the shelf. He had missed him a lot over the summer and couldn't wait to hang out with him. "Like, what'd you do while you were there?"
While waiting for an answer, he too started looking at the candy, seeing as that was his intention when he came in to the store. Pulling out a box of some candy he did not know, he noticed the name of it. "Pepper Imps..." he said to himself. Turning the box over, he read the back. 'Makes you smoke at the mouth!' was placed on the back of the box in blold, big lettering. "Aw, nice!" he grinned at held onto the box so he could pay for it.

Lauri shrugged at James' question and smiled. "Well, you know," he started. "it was home! I got to see my family and my friends. Mainly, I hung out with them and we had fun writing music. As boring as it seems, that's all I did really! Although I did spend 2 weeks in Germany where we just kind of hung out." He was quiet for a few seconds when he asked James, "So, what did you do over the summer? Man, I missed you!"
Lauri then watched James pull some Pepper Imps off the shelf and he laughed. "Ah haha! Those things are strong!" he warned him.

"Ah, man, that sounds fun!" James said in response to Lauri's comment about his summer. "Did you write a lot of songs?" James always thought that Lauri's talent in wiriting songs was amazing; he knew that if he ever tried to do something like that he would fail...terribly.
With a nod, James grinned as he heard Lauri talk about the Pepper Imps. "I've never had 'em before." He said, checking over the box again. "But I bet if they're really that strong I could use them for a good prank. Maybe I could even modify them with a spell to make them stronger..." He grinned mischieviously.
"I pretty much just hung out over the summer, you know. Big family get togethers, hanging out with Remus, just pretty much the usual. But it was still fun." James had a thoughtful look on his face as he remembered the summer. "I also had some pretty deep conversations with Uncle Fred and Uncle George about their shop. I think maybe some day I wanna work there."

Lauri nodded his head at James's question. "We wrote a lot and started to play it too, but we didn't perfect them before I had to come back here. It is okay though because I love being here as much as I love being at home." He watched James with the Pepper Imps and laughed at his comments about them.
"You definatley take after your uncles," he told them. Lauri always loved going into the joke shop and deeply appreciated the gifts and gags inside, even though he was not a prankster himself. "It would be really cool if you would work there some day. As for your summer, it sounds fun. I guess that's what a lot of us did over the summer, hung out with friends." Lauri smiled to himself and then walked a little bit more down an isle and then figured he had everything that he wanted to buy.
Unlike James though, Lauri had not gotten to see much of his family. He only saw his parents and good friends over the summer, but it was okay because he wasn't extremely close with the rest of his family. He was glad that some people had such good relationships with their families like James and his uncles.

"Wouldn't it be like, awesome if you guys got so famous that you were like the Weird Sisters? Hey! I have an idea! You guys should totally play at the Snow Ball!" James said with some enthusiasm. "Yeah, once you get like them all perfected you should definitely play there." James wanted to help his friend out by letting his music be heard.
"You definitely take after your uncles." "I like to think so." James said in response with a grin. He had always taken a stronger liking towards the twins than any other of his uncles. Of course, that didn't mean that he hated all of the other ones. He was just more like Fred and George. No matter what his Aunt Hermione said, he would always refuse to be like his Uncle Ron.
James browsed the rest of the shelves, searching for anything that might assist him in a prank, or just something that would taste good. Finally, he settled for some Bertie Bott's Every Flavored Beans, trusting his luck to not have a few vomit ones in there. "You ready to pay?" he asked Lauri.
