APPEARANCE&&PERSONLAITY
DESCRIPTION ::
Victoria clearly lives up to her mother's veela beauty. Her blonde hair reaches a little bit above the middle of her back and appears stick straight. However, with a bit of magic and perserverance, Victoria can make her hair quite wavy; the way she prefers. Normally worn down, her hair is soft, almost in an unbelieveable way, due to the genes passed down from her mother, yet again. When looked at clearly, it seems as if Victoria inherited nothing from her father's appearance; however, her height for her age has shown that she will become taller as time progresses, and her mother isn't exactly the tallest woman around.
Like her mother, Victoria is slender; she is tall like her father. Over the years, her body has developed as any sixteen year old female's body should: her curves filled out quite nicely, and her face became more womanly, compared to the cherubic childlike face she posessed before her fifthteenth birthday. According to a few of the guys at school, Victoria's best feature is her long, thin legs, which she doesn't have a problem with flaunting. Of course, again inherited from her mother, Victoria loves the attention and almost yearns for it, even if she must reveal a little bit of skin to the boys.
Victoria normally dresses in what Muggles would describe as "chic" or "vintage" clothing. Being a very fashionable young lady, Victoria can more often than not be caught in a shade of bright blue to match the colour of her eyes. As for make up, she doesn't over do it; however, Victoria likes to dress her eyes up a bit with shadow and eye liner.. She does believe too much can make her look a bit trampy, so she keeps it simple. For the most part.

PERSONALITY ::
Do not think for one second that Victoria's beauty makes her loose out on intelligence. On the contrary, she is a smart one, no doubt about it. Studious, Victoria makes sure she is prepared for every assignment, essay, and exam that is being thrown her way. Never has she failed a class; although, she did come close in Divination, but she excells more in the classes that are based around bookwork and wand usage. During the weeks of the end of term exams, it may be hard to find Victoria any other place than the library or her common room studying with a group of friends. This leads to the next aspect of her personality.
Victoria must always be surrounded by someone, or people, she knows. Even when she is being as estudious as possible, she must do it with a group. As a child, she learned the stories of her parents and her relatives past, and she realizes that even in a time you feel safe, danger can be around and those you love can end up dead in a flash. This mostly contributes to her need to be around her friends, but Victoria would do anything for her closest friends, and it was her determination to be brave and do whatever it takes to keep her friends and family safe that nearly got her placed in Gryffindor.
One would think that with her intelligence, Victoria must be a bookworm. That, she is not. She loves large get-togethers, flirting, and going out into Hogsmeade. As far as relationships go, Victoria hasn't had a true boyfriend yet, and she is simply considered as the flirty type; of course, she figures that if her mother could settle down, so could she. There is an array of attractive males within Hogwarts, and Victoria, with her Veela blood, wouldn't have much trouble taking one for herself. However, it seems that she is waiting for someone special to come along for a more permanent relationship.. Even if you can catch her snogging the captain of a certain house's Quidditch team in order to congratulate him on his excellent playing.
After reading all of this, one may also think: wow, this girl seems like she could cause some trouble. Well, that is half true. As much of an outgoing, fun loving girl Victoria seems to be, she still has some of her father's blood in her, a good heart within her, and she is kind and helpful to anybody who needs it. In the past, Victoria has even helped younger students with their assignments when asked to, and even though she doesn't exactly enjoy it all the time, she finds a certain pleasure in helping others. Honestly, if some of the teachers and younger students knew of her behaviour outside of the classroom, they may not be so keen on sending first years her way. In the future, Victoria could be seen as taking a job teaching or, more realistically, as a healer. She excells in Charms, and she has learned quite a bit of Healing Magic so far in her school career.

LIFE&&HISTORY
HISTORY::
Born as the first child in her family, Victoria started her life living in a quaint cottage just off the coast of a magnificent sea. The cottage, which may have seemed a bit trashy at first glance, became a home to her, and after a few years of renovations, her parents had made quite the number on the place. It was almost as if Victoria was a princess, and Shell Cottage was her beautiful castle. It was in this place where Victoria discovered her magical abilities, and she couldn't have been more excited. Basically, the discovery of her magical abilities involved a batch of cookies placed up high where Victoria couldn't reach and an unbreakable determination to get them down. With what seemed to be a non-verbal Hover Charm, Victoria received the cookies her mother told her she wasn't allowed to eat until her vegetables were done.
It wasn't until Victoria was eleven that she received her letter from Hogwarts, officially stating that she would be in training to become a witch. Her parents couldn't have been happier for her, and it was then when she started dreaming of all the wonders she would encounter in her new school. Her mother provided her with new clothes for the school year, and her father took her shopping in Diagon Alley for all of her school supplies. Nothing could have pleasured the young Victoria any further! It was only too soon that she hopped onto the Hogwarts express and headed to her first year of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Victoria's first few years at Hogwarts were exciting, and it wasn't until her fifth year that she truly began to get used to everything around her. She made a set group of friends, developed a few love interests, and her fifteenth birthday proved to be a good one, as she received her first kiss from Andrew Hanson, a family friend a bit older than she. The two had hit it off ever since they were children, and it was only natural for them to hook up every now and then.. Considering "hooking up" to a fifteen year old consisted of kissing almost too passionately for a pair of people who weren't dating. That was her first real encounter with a boy, and ever since that kiss, Victoria and Andy simply remained friends, as she doesn't know if she could handle his sometimes crazy antics in a long-term relationship.
Now as her sixth year approaches, Victoria realizes that she is coming to an end in her Hogwarts career. She needs to start making serious career choices so that she can be set once her seventh year of training is complete. At the moment, she is leaning toward a Healer, but many different options seem to pop up every day, and Victoria will most likely end up with a career that she figures out at the last minute. As stated earlier, her interest in teaching is quite deep, so she may just end up taking the post of the Charms Professor sometime in her adulthood.

Slip. Crash. BOOM! Victoria Devereaux had just left the Three Broomsticks when her foot encountered something slippery directly outside the door. Thinking it was simply an accident, she stood up and whipped of the sky blue sundress that was ever-so appropriate for the sunny weather in Hogsmeade. As she started to stroll forth, she heard the snickers of a few older boys; one that she clearly recognized. Andrew Hanson had always made sure to be there to laugh at Victoria, but she had enough!
"So, you think it's funny to mess with me, do you?" Victoria said, not exactly furious, but a bit angry. Andy and his friends simply snickered further, and she rolled her eyes and continued to walk with the slight glow the veela in her gave off; indeed, something was clearly on her mind.
Her friends always told her that Andy had a crush on her, but Victoria merely shook that idea off, trying to disregard it as easily as possible. However, as her trips to Hogsmeade brought her to see him more often, she had began to start to think so as well. Sure, he was attractive, but would it ever work out? As some say, opposites attract, and Victoria Devereaux was about to find out, maybe all too well.
As she had simply been visiting Hogsmeade for a bit of a break from her home at Shell Cottage, Victoria arrived at her grandmother's house through the Floo Network, as she was supposed to be having a bit of a brunch with the family. Brushing a blonde strand of hair from her line of vision, Victoria sat the small cottage quietly as nearly everybody bustled around her, trying to fix up their weekly Sunday brunch. Her grandmother, Molly Weasley, was dashing throughout the kitchen, checking on pots and pans that were steaming and sizzling.. Her times at this cottage created some of the greatest memories for Victoria, and the smell of her Grandmother's cooking definitely fit into that category. As she sat around with her cousins, Victoria took a sip from her tea cup; of course, the lemon brew Molly had boiled for the family was delicious, as always.
Her smallest cousin tugged at the seam of her white sundress and questioned, "Victoria, w-will you come join me outside?"
Smiling down at the youth below her, Victoria giggled and replied, "Grand-mere is preparing breakfast for us! It is nearly ready, bete." Slightly messing up her cousin's somewhat shaggy hair, Victoria smiled further, and wondered what she had been like as a child. Indeed, the innocence shown by her younger cousins inspired her to always protect the ones she loved, no matter what.
