Melody is just the avarage dar-haired girl. Her skin is very fair, some people say she is even too pale. Her eyes are big and deep gray, her head is somewhat egg-shaped. You can barely see her eyebrowns. She isn't very tall either, but she is quite well-built for her short size. Melody's feet and hands are awfully small for someone of her age. She doesn't have a single freckle or pimple all around her face.
Melody mostly wears shorts and t-shirts, you will never see her in a dress. Why? Because is just too girlish. She is the type who chooses confort rather than style. Melody fits in the tomboy girl profile. Her hair is very straight, but yet she like it in braids or ponnytails. She is often running from someone she pranked, and for her there is nothing worse than having her hair being combed by the wind. She doesn't like to comb her hair either. Actually, she hates her hair in anyway, she barely washes it because she is always too lazy to do it. So, it ends up the Melody's hair is most of the time smelly.

Melody's personality comes almost entirely from her father, Sirius Black. When you talk about pranks, you'll surely find Melody listening. Pranking people and disobeying the rules are her passions. Except, of course, if she ever gets caught. So surprising, Melody isn't the best student. Well, she is intelligent if she really really tries to, and this never happens. So let's just say that she isn't intelligent.
Melody isn't the professor's favorite student either. She hates classes. or anything related to school itself. Being in a class, it bores her to death. That's why it ends up that she is always failing on every single subject. Homework isn't something that Melody is very used to do.
Another thing about Melody is that she says each and everything that pops into her head. She may walk towards you and just say "wow, you are SO ugly today" and this kind of thing. This don't really help her to make friends. Specially if you are a Slytherin, then she hates you. At the same time, Melody doesn't even bother to hear the bad things someone says about her.
Melody isn't the type of girl that loves gossiping and this kind of thing. Actually, she has really few girl friends. She spends her time with guys, because, according to Melody, "the girls are too annoying". She isn't really interested on neither of her guy friends, to her they are just friends. Yet.

Melody is the youngest of two children. Her mother is Dorcas Black (nee Meadowes), her father is Sirius Black. Her older brother is Remus James Black, he is the member of the family Melody is most close too. She was born in London, eleven years ago. Melody loves her family a lot, specially her father and brother.
Since she was a baby, you could clearly see that Melody had Sirius personality. She was often breaking things, doing stuff she wasn't allowed to. Anyway, she tries to control herself, but there is nothing more exciting than break the rules. Except if you are caught in the middle of it.Her relationship with her mother is somewhat disturbed, since Melody isn't the sweet girl she desired. But yes, they do have some nice talks, Melody still loves her.
Melody's relationship with Sirius is amazing. Mel has an awfully strong bond with her father, since they are so alike. You can often find them talking about pranks. Or maybe saying bad things about Slytherins. Melody would spend the whole day with Sirius if she could. But she can't, because of school, and all. And she also likes James a lot. They are almost the same age, and that really helps, since Melody doesn't feel silly when she is talking to him.
Melody never really had girl friends. She thinks all the girls she knows, but her mother, are extremly annoying human beings. They are all about gossiping, and trying to look beautiful. Personally, she hates it. That's why Melody can often be found with guys, laughing out loud like... A guy.
Melody's first contact with magic was when she was three. She turned her teddy bear from white to deep green. She was happy, but not surprised, when she received a Hogwarts letter. As soon as the Sorting Hat touched her head, it yelled "Gryffindor!". Since then, she had made lots of friends from her own house. She also like to hang around with Hufflepuffs, and even Ravenclaws. Slytherins? Never!

Leslie stared blankly at the herbology professor, as he said something boring about some boring plant. Leslie never understood why the hell she had to learn about plants. After all, it wasn't on her plans to do something related to plants. Actually, the only thing on Leslie's plans that moment was lunch time. Again, she had woken up too late for breakfast, and now she was so hungry that she could pick up some leaves from the green house and eat them.
Probably the professor had noticed Leslie's boringness, and had just said something to her. Something that, of course, that Leslie didn't listen. Probably something like 'Wake up, Miss Shanerry' or anything like it. Leslie looked at her watch. There was still forty five minutes until the end of the class. Leslie might sleep there, standing by this plant she didn't even bother to know the name.
