Warm enough - EVIE

Is it usually this cold in summer? Remus asked himself. During the summer days around the lake, it usually wasn't so empty. He could picture it now- the girls in their tiny bikinis sitting around the lake soaking up the sun, but today it seemed to be absolutely empty. Maybe it was the coming exams, but he didn't really think that was the problem, since students would most likely be studying near the lake.
Yes, it had to be the cold.

Still, it would not stop Remus' meeting today. It had been a while since Evie and Remus had seen each other.That was sort of putting it lightly actually, it had been a darn long time and for once, Remus had actually missed a girl. After so long of thinking about her, he would finally see her again. The reason he had waited so long? He had been in denial that he actually liked someone enough to think about her daily. Now that he was ready to admit it to himself... he needed to talk to her... and SOON. But where was the beautiful girl that plagued his thoughts?

Remus settled himself into the grass, lying down on his back, he stared up at the clear blue sky. So what is it was a bit cold? He was warm enough to warm the both of them.

Evelyn sat on her bed staring at the letter she'd just gotten. She'd read it over a million times.

Dearest Evelyn Thomas,
Meet me near the lake at 200 hours.

Your very secret, and very handsome admirer

She smirked at the signing. "Very handsome admirer... I wonder who that can be..." She said sarcastically to herself. She looked at the clock and continued to think about whether she should go or not. If she did go, she'd get hypnotized by his charm.... yet again. But if she didnt go... She knew she'd regret it.

Evie sighed and read the letter again then stood up and made her way towards the potrait hole. "Well... here we go..." She said to herself before walking out the common room and towards school grounds. She tried to think of a million different ways to greet him and before she realized it, she was almost at the lake.
"Damn..." She said to herself. She went over to the figure laying on the grass and looked down at him. "Uhhmm... Remus?" She said, nervous as hell.

Remus didn't bother to check the time as he stared up at the sky, so it was a bit startling when he heard Evie call out to him.
"Uhhmm... Remus?"
Her nervous little voice perked Remus up right away, although he showed no sign of a twitch. He looked up calmly from where he lay, hands behind his head. "I see you got my letter." he said smoothly, his grin plastered onto his face. He took her appearance in, she was as pretty as always of course. In one calm motion, he patted the ground next to him, motioning for her to lay down in the grass. "I hope you're not afraid of grass stains." he told her teasingly.
