Fred spent his time in the quidditch field or in detention. But today the first day he had no detention and he was out running keeping himself in good shape. He didn't honestly didn't know why he was running when he already met the physical requirements and mental. He just enjoyed running clearing his head getting to cook up the pranks he would pull in the next few days.

He smiled as he mad it to the lake he had been running all morning and hiding from most of his family. Which seemed more and more impossible with every year. He loved his family no doubt. But he did like to get away sometimes. He smiled as he stopped by the shore and stuck his hands in the water and threw some water on his hair. He lay back in the sun and looked up at the clear blue sky letting him cool off a bit.

He looked around and didn't see anyone around and he took off his quidditch shirt and just laid under the sun a bit her heard someone coming down the path. Fred quickly stood up saw it was a girl coming and quickly put his shirt on again just in the right amount of time. He than laid down and waited to see who had come to visit.

The morning times were the best in Alice's opinion and felt it right to be up and active quite early. Today was not an exceptional day, and Alice had been up since 6 working on homework she hadn't gotten done before. She hadn't finished a dreaded Potions essay and wanted to get it done so she didn't have to do it during the afternoon.

She had grown tired of the essay and felt it necessary to go out and have a nice swim in the Black Lake. Grabbing her bikini, she tip-toed out of her dorm room, as to not wake her friends, and went into the bathroom to get changed. Once that was done she made her way to the Black Lake, hoping that it wasn't too cold.

The weather outside wasn't what Aly had expected. It was warm and humid. There was not the least bit of wind which made it perfect weather for a swim. She squinted her eyes against the sun and looked towards the Lake, noticing someone was sitting by it. Without a second look she could tell that it had to be a Weasley because of the flaming red hair. As she got closer, she could tell it was Fred Weasley the Second, as she called him.

"Hey, Fred!" she called to him as she got closer. What are you doing out here?"

Fred smiled and waved as he saw Aly. She was in her bikini he got his prankster smile on and he waved at Aly. He quickly got up and ran over to her. Instead of yelling he didn't fully see the point. So he ran up to her and started walking with her. He gave her a quick hug and said. " Hey Aly Long time no see it seems like forever. I am just hanging out at the lake first day with no detention and you know I was hoping to catch a swim. Looks like you my friend have come prepared. "

He moved his hair over to the left over his eyes a little more so he could see Aly better. They came up to the lake and he looked over at her and raised an eyebrow. " You look as pretty as ever Aly. Always in for a surprise with you. Now may I ask what brings such a pretty girl like you out here to the lake this fine day? "

He looked over at the lake and agreed that it was great swimming weather. He smiled at her and asked simply. " Would you mind some company with your swim today? As I have nothing planned and I have missed my dear friend Aly lately." He smiled he was always like this with Aly and he waited for her answer.

Aly was very happy to see her old friend, and that means in both the literal and figurative sense. Fred the Second was in Seventh year and little Aly was only a Fourth year. This little fact did not, however, keep her from crushing hard on the older boy. The crush came about when it was the summer right before her Third year and Fred the Second was going into his Sixth year. They were at a big get together at the Burrow and Fred had been so nice to her that she just couldn't help but blush at his antics. It also didn't help that he was HOT.

Fred the Second had made his way over to Aly and gave her quick hug which Aly was more than happy to return. "Yes it has seemed like forever! And congratulations on the whole "no detention" thing. That must be a big feat for you, Freddie." she grinned up at him, squinting her eyes a little against the sun. She continued to walk with him right beside her, giving him a small smile every time he complimented her. Ever the gentleman.

" You look as pretty as ever Aly. Always in for a surprise with you. Now may I ask what brings such a pretty girl like you out here to the lake this fine day?"
Now, there was nothing that little Alice could do but blush furiously at his comment about her being pretty. "You're not looking to bad yourself, Freddie." she smirked a little at him and grinned. "I felt up for a swim, of course! And maybe a bit of tanning." she said to him sweetly.

"Of course I would like some company! There's no fun in swimming by yourself on such a pretty day." she grinned at Fred and then dropped her towel and bag on the area around the Black Lake. "So what are you waiting for, Freddie boy? Let's go!" And with a little giggle she took off into the Black Lake.

Fred smiled at his friend Aly. He watched as she giggled and ran into the water. He watched her for a moment and then took his shirt off. He waved his wand over his pants and the turned into his swim trunks black and red. He looked over at the lake and saw Aly wasn't all the way on. He smiled and ran after her. He came up behind her and picked her up but didn't stop running until they were deep enough. When he got his smile that pretty much told what he was going to do. "Hold your breath Ms. Aly we're going under.

When he fell back wards with Aly in his arms. They went under the water where he was expecting it to be clod. But it was cool nice and refreshing he waited under water a moment when he went up with Aly in his arms and smiled at her. " Not as cold as I thought it would have been. He went into shallow water where he knew that Aly could touch. He shook his head so that his hair didn't stick to his face.

He started to float on his back as he asked. "what has been keeping you so busy that I couldn't hang out with the prettiest coolest girl at hogwarts that I'm not related to. Just so you know I have to say the relation stuff cause if I didn't the girls in my family would have my neck no joke. He put his hands up as if to say he was serious. But he did think that Aly was cool and very pretty she had gotten prettier. over the past few summers. He wished they were closer in age. But they were very close friends even if she was a fourth year and him a seventh. which made him curious about if she had asked a guy to the up coming dance. He smirked and said. " If you happen to be going to the dance you best save a dance for me.

He stopped floating and stood up fast. he looked at Aly and splashed her a little. One thing he would do was always make time for Aly and his family no matter what. He would even ditch out on detention. He looked over at Aly as she started to speak. He listened to her and gave her a look that said he was listening to her.

Before she even had time to take a look at Fred the Second's gorgeous body, she was being picked up by him and brought into deeper water. "Fred!" she sort of squealed with a wide grin on her face. She looked up at him and prepared herself for their submerge. Fred started to fall bck and Aly took a deep breath before she was hit with the oddly refreshing water.

The water felt really nice. It wasn't too hot or too cold and was actually quite clear. After a few relazing seconds, she was brought up by Fred because she was still in his arms. "No, it was actually quite nice, wasn't it?" she said. She couldn't help but notice how good Fred looked right now. Removing herself from Fred's arms, she was lucky enough to catch him shaking the water out of his hair. This made little Aly bite her lower lip.

With a slight giggle at his compliments, she answered, "Oh you know, schoolwork and such. Plus my big brother has been keeping an eye out on me." She rolled her eyes and began to float around a bit. She grinned a bit at his comment about his family and nodded, completely understanding what he meant. Then she ducked under water for a second and came back up to face Fred. He made a comment about the dance. "Oh, you know I will, Freddie." She gave him a small wink.

Then a wicked, wonderful thought came into her head. Maybe I should ask him...? She hadn't really given any thought to the whole dance thing, but she wouldn't pass up on an opportunity such as this one. "Oh Mr. Weasley!" she called to him with a sweet voice and a grin. "Would it be too bold of me to ask if you were taken for the Snow Ball?" She was about to say something else when the water he had splashed at her came right into her face. She immediately splashed waater right back at him, with a wide grin.

Fred smiled as she splashed him back and he finished thinking about her question. He smiled a bit at her sadly he couldn't help but look at Aly's body. But he caught himself and knew better then to do that. He grinned at her and let himself float a while. He looked over at her and said, "Ah yes busy busy year....My dear Aly it is not to bold. NO I am not taken for the lovely snowball dance. Playing pranks and such does not rally seem to make me the most popular guy at Hogwarts."

He smiled and shrugged his shoulders. He smiled at her and asked again. "Has no one caught the pretty eye of Aly this year? He smirked and winked over at Aly. He had noticed that he blushed and giggled a lot when they were together though he was okay with that. He loved making her happy. He noticed that he was only standing waist deep in water and smiled as he walked a little deeper into the water again over by Aly.

He smiled and dipped under the water for a few moments and opened his eyes he waited a few minuets. He looked around and saw Aly's legs he smiled a bit and swam over and grabbed her ankles and pushed her up and pulled her under with him he smiled and waver at her. Then pulled her up with him and said as she came up and he shook his hair yet again. "Nope didn't work you were still pretty under water. they say people look different under water but you stay pretty."

He breathed and raised and eyebrow at her. As he asked her charmingly. " WHy do you ask if I am taken for the snow ball? "

There was a comfortable silence between the two of them as Fred thought about the question. She took this time to duck under water again, touching the bottom of the semi-deep water with her fingers before coming back up for air. When she came back up she could tell that Fred was eyeing her a little bit, which made the faintest blush creep up onto her cheeks."Tsk, tsk Freddie." she grinned at him about his comment about pranking. "And I wouldn't say that...I'm sure some people, mainly girls, fancy you for your prankster streak." She giggled inwardly, knowing fully well that this was true.

Again with the compliments! This boy sure does know how to flatter a girl. The blush got considerably darker after he made this comment. "Um...not really. Well, atleast not someone who I figured 'Snow Ball Dance' worthy." She shrugged and then grinned as she saw him coming over closer to her.

She sort of took a minute to gather her thoughts, and didn't even realize that Fred had disappeared under water. "Fred?" she called out, looking around for him. Then she felt something grab her ankles, and before she could even mutter a small 'oof' she was being dragged under water by the ever clever, Fred the Second. He brought her back up again and then said the sweetest thing that any boy had ever said to her. Her face had to be, by now, as bright red as a tomato and she could feel it burning. Well, with a comment like that, he definitely deserved something back. She leaned in and gave him a quick peck on the cheek and then grinned at him. "Thank you." she said, sincerely.

She was still quite flustered from what happened and baely had any time to get together by the time he was asking why she inquired him about the dance. "Oh, well...I was just wondering if maybe you would want to go with...me?" she bit her bottom lip and waited a little unpatiently for him to answer.

Fred was shocked for a moment as she just kissed his cheek. He stopped and looked at her. He had now started a very very faint blush on his cheeks. He looked at her as she asked him if he wanted to go to the dance. This surprised him more than anything. Aly the girl that he has tried to get good with that made him nervous which was a hard thing to do.

He watched Aly be impatient and bite at her bottom lip. He got his smile that said he was planning something. He bit his lip and started to circle Aly slowly. As if to taunt her a bit and tease her silently. His smile gross more and comes closer to Aly. "My Dear sweet adorable Aly. It would be my pleasure to accompany such a beautiful talented girl such as you to the dance. Though I will tell you now that I will be keeping you extremely busy at this dance."

Fred smiled at her and kissed her cheek and picked her up and spun her around in the water and hugged her tight. He had a true Fred smile on his face. He let her down and his smile dimmed a bit. He realized what he was doing. His eyes grew wide as he realized it and he grew pale he put her down and looked down letting his hair fall into his face. He hung his head a bit and he mumbled softly. "Sorry Aly I didn't mean to over step boundaries."

He closed his eyes and waited for Aly to say something. Even though they were so far in age and so close. He acted like a child when it came to him making a mistake. He looked up at her with a hope in his eyes but reverted them back down he submerged himself under water and came back up cooling himself again. He looked at her with a soft smile.

The silence between them went on for a bit longer and wasn't uncomfortable, per se, but more of an nxious silence. Aly brushed some of her wet hair off of her face as she continued to look at Fred, waiting for his answer.

Finally, he said the words that she had hoped would pass his lips. She grinned, and the grin grew with every word he spoke to her, and kept her heart beating fast. "Yay!" she said with her girlish voice when he agreed to go to the dance with her in his ever-so-gentlemanly way. When he made the comment about keeping her busy at the dance, her heart fluttered a bit. "Well I should hope so, Mr. Weasley!" she winked at him.

She giggled slightly when he kissed her cheek, but then squealed a little when he picked her up and spun her around. "Fred!" she said, still smiling widely and chuckling. Then he pulled her into a tight hug and Aly quickly responded back, rested her chin in the crook of his neck. But then the hug was over and Fred was looking at her bashfully, as if he had just kissed her. She couldn't help but smile at the way he was acting, thinking it completely adorable. "Oh, stop it, Freddie." she grinned, and stepped closer to him, pulling him into a hug again. "You didn't do anything wrong."

Fred smiled at Aly and hugged her tight again. He couldn't help but feel like he hadn't asked if he should be hugging her but he didn't mind the hug at all. He enjoyed it a lot and he didn't want to let go. Which hadn’t experienced since his disastrous relationship a few years back. " Well if you insist Ms. Longbottom! I will keep you very very very super busy. Though you can expect more that just this hug at the dance I mean you will be the most beautiful girl there. "

He smiled down at Aly. She never seemed to mind his pranks or his joking around. But she was always there to tell him when he was right and wrong. He smirked at Aly and picked her up again he started caring her out of the water back on shore. He again started spinning and laughing a little bit. "Ah Ms. Aly you are as light as a feather my goodness its amazing. You are just Amazing you know that. You are a triple threat. Beautiful, smart, and fun."

He smiled a bit and laid down on the shore next to Aly and looked around at the water and the hot sun. Then over at Aly he smirked at her and shook his hair over her and let the water fall over her. He smiled and said. " Now Ms. ALy you are all wet and you aren't even in the cool lake. But still I must say you look just as pretty. Don't let anyone ever say you aren't because you can knock the socks off of any guy." He winked over at her and waited for ALy to say anything.
