Instant attraction is somewhat a cruel thing. Half the time, while cupid means well, the wrong people end up being attracted to one another. This led both Sirius Lupin and Alana Lestrange to wonder whether cupid had had a shot of firewiskey or two before taking aim at the both of them. Never, never in a million years would Alana, the perfect pureblood princess, have thought that this would happen to her. Sirius, too, found his feelings to be quite terribly ironic.
It all really started on Sirius' first day of Hogwarts. Quite grown up for an eleven year old, his eyes caught her straight away when she past him. He could see the beauty in her; although he nose was high in the air. She too could feel an attraction when she looked at him; but as soon as she found out his name... she gagged.
Soon, their growing love for each other translated into hatred. They were forbidden, and they both knew it. They were a twisted sort of Romeo and Juliet; because neither will admit love for the other. Their strange lust filled feelings are only ever satisfied by punishing the other for merely existing. Each time they see each other a battled of words occurs, and hopefully, nothing more than that.
Their parent's hatred for each other was all that mattered and nothing was going to change the fact that they couldn't be together. Then why do they keep being brought together?
