[b]Bit of History::[/b] It all started when Harry Potter met Ronald Weasley.  The two then met Hermione Granger, and Harry was introduced to Ron's sister Ginny.  When the four became adults, Harry and Ginny married.  So did Ron and Hermione.  As Harry and Ron were now brothers-in-law, their later children were cousins.  Thus, Rosie and Lily are family.
