Hogsmeade was great, one of the best places in the whole of Hogwarts. Her older brother Sirius kept telling her how great it was, and now she was in her third year, she could finally go. Standing in line, waiting in eager anticipation, the caretaker looked down and when Jessica said her name, the caretaker nodded once looking back at his list. Since none of her friends were near, Jessica carried on by herself, making her way to the famous Hogsmeade. Nearing it, a smile broke out upon her lips as she stared in wonder. Brushing her robes, Jessica ran down the street, smiling and laughing as she twirled. It would seem that she was ignoring the world, swept up in wonder of this new place she was now able to visit.
Her parents had signed the form when she handed it over, Remus, being her father, knew Jess would want to go and would try and sneak there even if the form wasn't signed. After all, Jess was the daughter of a marauder and that alone sparked her interest in pranking and sneaking. Yet if it clashed with studies, Jess would study. A grand mix of Remus and Nymphadora, and they couldn't be more proud of their daughter.
Heading to Honeydukes, Jessica pushed the door open to the sweet shop and her jaw dropped. Staring in wonder, Jessica began moving around, looking at all the sweets Honeydukes had to offer, not realizing that someone else was here. Someone that she knew, who her oldest brother Teddy just loved. Jess was too lost in thought at her visit to even notice. Bad little Ravenclaw.

For A Pessimist I'm Pretty Optimistic
Being a teacher at Hogwarts sure had it's advantages. For one, she had a full two months off in summer, which she usually spent at her home with Teddy, or with her family. Secondly, she really enjoyed teaching, she felt at home when she was teaching young witches and wizards about her favorite subject. There were even more adavantages to being a teacher at Hogwarts, but today, she was just glad she get to go to Hogsmeade every so often.
Victoire was a sucker for any types of sweet, which Teddy liked to exploit every time she was mad at him[which wasn't really often], so she favored Honeydukes at Hogsmeade trips. The sweet scent of freshly made candy wafted into her nostrils as soon as she stepped into the shop. Spotting the different typed of sugar quills in the back, she made her way over to grab a few, but not before she spotted a Lupin, that wasn't her Teddy.
Victoire snuck up behind her, and hugged her gently from the back. "Hello, Ms. Lupin. How very nice it is to see you." She let go, and smiled at the younger girl sweetly. "Finally a Hogsmeade weekend for our youngest Lupin." she giggled and fiddled with a sugar quill, "Everything you expected it to be?"

She jumped, feeling someone hug her before relaxing as she realized who it was. Of course, the voice helped her as well. A grin placed upon her lips as she turned around to see Victoire. "It's very nice to see you too, Professor," Jess laughed softly, laughter evident in her eyes so that Victoire would know she was only teasing. It came natural to her, since she viewed her as an older sister type figure. Life without Victoire sounded rather dull, Jess had grown up with her and she knew how much her and Teddy loved one another. That alone made her happy, seeing two of her favorite people absolutely in love with each other.
"It seemed to take forever to be able to come here. But finally." Again the light seemed to shine in her eyes as she looked around again, like a child untainted by the world. Her excitment for wanting to go spread through the holidays, ever since she got the permission slip. She ended up annoying Sirius with her constant questions, to the point where she ended up dreaming about it. Just to see what it was actually like, and it was better than she ever dreamed it would be. "Everything and more." Jess turned her attention back onto Victoire, the smile still plastered to her lips.
"How are you?" The young Lupin girl asked, it seemed like forever since she last spoke to Victoire, and it didn't help that Jess had classes, Victoire was a professor, so their schedules were never the same. But still, it was nice to just talk without having to hurry to class or a meeting. "Hows Teddy?" She asked after a moments pause since Victoire normally always saw Teddy, more so that what Jess did but she wasn't jealous. Feeling that something was missing, Jess clicked onto what it was and gave Victoire a hug before letting go. Technically they weren't family yet but Jess always thought of Victoire as family anyway.

"It's very nice to see you too, Professor," Victoire laughed along with Jessica, and shook her head lightly at Jessica's emphases of the word professor. In class, she had to call her professor, and by now Victoire should've gotten used to it, but she couldn't help feel slightly old every time it was used. "Every time someone says that, I have to check if I have grey hair, just in case." Victoire said and pulled on a strand of her silvery hair into her own sight, examining it. "Nope, still blonde."
She examined Jessica for a moment, and realized that the young girl seemed to be getting older by the minute. It wasn't long ago that she had babysat her alongside Teddy, treating her like her little sister. Soon, she would be her sister-in-law, it was almost hard to believe.
"It seemed to take forever to be able to come here. But finally."
Victoire nodded, understanding completely. She too had been quite the pain before she'd been able to come to Hogsmeade. She distinctly remembered begging Teddy to sneak her out with him, or coaxing him into bringing her back butterbeer or chocolate. "I'm surprised you didn't try to sneak out on Hogsmeade trips! You're a little more tame than your brother, as I might have known!" She shooke her blond head, and let her gaze fall onto Jessica. "I'm very glad you're enjoying it, maybe we could even have some butterbeer at the three broomsticks later?"
Not completely forgetting what she was here to do, Victoire picked up a few sugar quills, and then responded to the girl's next question. "I'm fine, and so is Teddy, even though I haven't seen him much." Victoire said sadly. Being a teacher was hard, and since Teddy was an auror, they got to see eachother very little. She atleast got to see Jessica in class, which didn't leave much time for them to speak openly much, but it was still more than Jessica got to see Teddy. "He promises to visit soon, though, and he's taking some time off to come and sleep in my quarters." Victoire sadly happily, but blushed once she realized how it sounded. "I meant he'll be staying for classes and such." she said as an afterthought. Victoire embraced the girl's hug warmly, she had always enjoyed her company, and nothing could make her happier than to marry into their family.

Jess started to giggle when Vic replied, she couldn't help it. With a big wide grin upon her face, Jess looked around again, the shop was still amazing to her, even though she had been in there for a little bit longer. Turning her attention back onto the other girl, Jess listened to what she was saying. "If you do start going grey, I'll be sure to let you know." Jess cheekily said, poking her tongue out. "But you have a long way to go before that happens." She said as an after thought.
"I wanted to. But even though trouble making blood runs through my veins, I didn't want to get into trouble. I couldn't risk anything messing with my studies." Jess was always fretful about that and always thinking about her future. Some teased her about her seriousness about it, but it didn't bother her anymore. She was quite used to it by now that she ignored words and focused on gaining a better future. "I would love that!" Jess grinned more at the mention of Butterbeer, hearing it tasted amazing. Sirius teased her about it once, and Jess wasn't a very happy Ravenclaw afterwards.
"I'm glad your doing fine though." She nodded her head, glad that two people she cared for were doing good. "Thats nice of him to do that!" Jess exclaimed, feeling proud of her brother for taking a little time off to spend with the woman he loved. Then she burst out giggling again. "Your blushing." Jess grinned wildly. "I know what you mean. You should see your face though." Still chuckling, Jess picked up some sugar quills, then some chocolate before walking up to the counter to pay for her purchases. Paying, and getting her things put into a bag, Jess looked back at her soon to be sister in law. "Want to go for that butterbeer now?" She asked, feeling a little bit thirsty.

"If you do start going grey, I'll be sure to let you know. But you have a long way to go before that happens."
"Please do," Victoire answered, "So I could get Madam Pomfrey to fix that... I don't want to be a graying bride!" Victoire said giggling. She knew it was entirely impossible, but she had a slight fear of growing old, which was quite stupid, because although her mother Fleur was older, she retained all of her beauty and even looked much younger than her actual age; she guess it was the Veela blood.
"Come to think of it, Teddy is very lucky he got the metamorphagus gene! He can switch to a younger looking version of himself when he gets old!" Victoire laughed out loud, and then something hit her; had Jessica inherited the gene as well? This is something she thought that she would know by now. "Jess, did you inherited it too?" Victoire asked curiously. It was completely possible, as Victoire knew the girl hadn't inherited the werewolf gene.
"I wanted to. But even though trouble making blood runs through my veins, I didn't want to get into trouble. I couldn't risk anything messing with my studies."
Victoire let a fake gasp, and covered Jessica's mouth with her hand. "Don't ever let Teddy or Sirius hear you say that!" she laughed, but then let go, and continued, "You truly are your father's daughter, I hear Uncle Remus used to think the same way..." As the oldest of the Weasleys, she and Teddy had badgered stories out of his father, and hers, until they had heard everything about the past of their parents and their time at Hogwarts. The stories were so interesting to them, they had even had them repeated it more times than necessary, and Victoire now had most of them memorized. The most interesting ones, Victoire cam to find, were the ones told by Uncle Remus, Uncle Sirius and Uncle James all together, each one filling in the gaps for the next.
"Yes, it is very sweet of him." Victoire agreed whole heartedly, she could never have asked for a better boyfriend; fiance. "Oh sush you." she said at the mention of her face. She barely ever blushed, but when she did, it was the Weasley scarlet that she had inherited from her father. "Yes, that's a very good idea, I think I need to sit a bit. I've been walking around all day in these heels and my feet are killing me." She pulled her arm through Jessica's and motioned towards the door.
[OCC: Do you wanna make a new thread at the three broomsticks?"]
