APPEARANCE&&PERSONLAITY
DESCRIPTION ::
;; It has a MIND of its own
Well his hair does anyway. Benjamin is the lucky type where if he does nothing to his hair it looks great any way. The dark brown almost black locks are common in his family, having received it from both parents. The length… you guessed it somewhat in the middle, since that’s as long as it can go before looking all curly and crazy. What IS unique about Ben’s hair though is the style,-although you wouldn’t hear him calling it that- is bed head. That’s right all this man does is wake up and walk out the door, some strands swept off to the side and some bits and pieces sticking out.
;; LOOK in my EYES
Sporting a colour similar to that of his hair Benjamin received this treasure from his grandmother, being the only one other then Ben to have brown/ board line hazel eyes. This was a wonderful and unexpected surprise as Ben got older since when he was born the only colour that seemed to in them was a light green. But in the end they settled with chocolaty brown that suited him and his nature perfectly.
;; Picture PERFECT
Benjamin is actually more average then people might think -body wise anyway- he stands at a moderate 5’11” and weights what a normal growing boy his age might. His build isn’t much of one, considering he’s more of an artist then a quidditch player. But he does enjoy the casual ride around the castle. As for the manly facial hair, its usually there mainly because he’s usually –like most boys- to lazy to do anything about it. But since it doesn’t look that bad he leaves it.

PERSONALITY ::
;; LOYAL
In picking the best word to describe Benjamin Holloway, the only one that would make sense would be loyal. Whether it be to his family, or friends Ben is always putting people before himself. Ever since he was young he would always keep secrets told to him from his siblings fearing for his life if he told but although these death threats had something to do with his loyalty it was always in his blood. This trait although extremely strong, makes Ben a somewhat fragile person. Since Benjamin is loyal to others he expects others to be loyal to him and so making friends hasn’t been a big issue over the past 6 years. But upon entering his 7th year he hopes to change this.
;;HONEST
Benjamin is also a fairly honest fellow, whether this is good or bad he still has yet to decide. It has gotten him into some difficult situations but because of his honesty he started to realize that people were showing more respect for him during 4th and 5th years at Hogwarts and so he decided to stick with it, even though explaining how he lost assignment to a teacher can be a bit rough.
;; PATIENT
Despite being a growing teenager of 17 years of age Ben is in no rush, especially when it comes to conversations. His patience runs surprisingly deep for a person his age with all the testing and learning and social drama Ben isn’t afraid to just stop and wait for the world to slow down. This is the reason why he enjoys art so much and its why it is an important part of his life. When the world seems to fast or chaotic with his steady and patient hand Ben brings out the things people don’t have time to see. Whether it be the morning dew on the simplest daisy or a sudden sunset falling over the quidditch pitch anything is fair game as long as it gets him away from his fast paced teenage life.
;;and a GOOF
Of course the whole deep, loyal, honest, and patient side of Ben is relatively underplayed compared to that of his other half, the half that most people see daily. This half is somewhat more sociable even though Ben really isn’t.. He’s more goofy and entertaining around people then if he was by himself, its almost as if he has a duel personality. The one side is subtle, shy, patient and the other comedic, goofy and outgoing. At first most people see the subdued side of Benjamin (which includes sudden nervousness around the ladies) but after a while his true colours begin to shine.

LIFE&&HISTORY
HISTORY ::
Benjamin Harris Holloway, was born into a pretty normal half-blood family of witches and wizards. His father Daniel Holloway (Ravenclaw alumni) and his mother Marissa Holloway (Gryffindor alumni) after falling in at the school decided to marry 3 years after leaving. When 2 years rolled by news of a pregnancy reached Daniel’s ears from his wife and within 9 months Benjamin’s oldest brother Liam was born. After Liam left toddler hood the Holloway’s decided to try for another, so four years later another boy came around Reese.
Life was good for two years both Daniel and Marissa caring for young Liam and Reese but the sudden longing for a girl made them try for another child. And of course 9 months later the beautiful baby girl Jillian came into the Holloway family. Nights became longer for the couple with less and less sleep. Liam was going on 8, Resse was entering the terrible 2’s and with the new baby in tow another child seemed out of the question and it really was. But surprise, out came baby Benjamin on June 20th. The next 3 years when by smoothly for the adults but less smoothly for poor little Ben, who was unfortunately given the terrible nickname “Benji” by his family. Although he was only 3 Ben was secretly receiving a lot more then friendly hugs and kisses from his siblings.
Finally the time came for 11 year old Liam to leave for Hogwarts. It was a chaotic time, having to shuffle the younger kids about and making sure Liam got on the train in time. The year was great for Ben, Reese forgot about him entirely missing Liam to much and Jillian was nice to him since, well she is a girl. But the years afterwards changed, friendly games turned into pick on Benjamin games. Of course Ben was older now but both of his brothers were in Hogwarts and in Gryffindor so they wouldn’t back down when Ben would threaten to tell. Both of his parents would help him but they didn’t baby Benjamin like most parents do to their youngest child.. They knew that Benjamin would go into Gryffindor, why Ben still has no idea but he felt as know he needed to get into either Gryffindor or Ravenclaw.
When the time came for Jillian to go, Ben could hardly sit still. They had grown closer over the years -mainly because they were only a year apart- and Ben was anxious to hear from Jill how it was. Letters poured in from Jillian saying that she got into Ravenclaw and that both Liam and Reese were looking after since Liam was a 7th year and Reese a 3rd year. All the glowing reports seemed to strengthen Ben’s spirits and so when his time came a year later he was more then ready but still the thought of getting into a different house scared him. Now that he's in the 7th year he's still a little scared but he's looking forward to getting into the wizarding world and life its self.

RP SAMPLE ::“BENJI!” the sound of his mothers velvety voice carried up the stairs and into his bedroom. With a sigh he looked plainly at the door, no annoyance, no frustration just a look. “BENJI!” her voice cried even louder as it traveled up the circular oak staircase down the hall and into the second room to the right… his. Fingers started to run through his already messy hair but the boy seemed to busy to take notice.
“ BENJAMIN HOLLOWAY! GET DOWN HERE THIS INSTANT YOUR FATHER IS WAITING!” “Great..” the boy spoke his first word of the morning, it showing a hint of sarcasm already. As he stood, the 17 year old barely noticed the pages of his sketchbook dance along with the wind from his open window. He seemed more concerned with the considerably large trunk he had sitting at the other end of the room.
It would be the boy’s last year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry although by the looks of the way things went over the summer he was starting to grow quite tired of being called the last baby bird to leave the next. He already had to be given the worse pet name ever given but to be called a baby was just humiliating, especially with the whole family there. But it was just another day in the life of Benjamin Holloway, youngest child of four.
“BEN!! I’M WARNING YOU DON’T MAKE ME COME UP THERE, HURRY UP WITH YOUR TRUNK OR YOU GOING TO BE LATE! AGAIN!” hearing the furry in her voice sent him straight into reality and realized he was just standing in the middle of the room starting out the window. After a quick shake of his head and a silent wisp from his wand the trunk was gliding elegantly in the air as if it were being held up by strings and Ben who moved the wand with a sophisticated ease was performing as the star role of puppet master. The trunk eased its way through the doors threshold and continued on down the winding staircase and then into the front foyer, all the while Ben didn’t still one glance back to see if the trunk was in any danger of a tumble or tap.
Instead he rummaged through his closet with one hand and gently flicked the wand with the other until he was sure that the trunk had reached its destination and then shoved the wand safely in his jeans pocket. He resumed his search for his favorite coat, his fingers skimming every piece of clothing he possessed until they found the familiar feel of cotton against his palms. His hands moved quickly around the jacket and began to button it up as fast as he could worrying that his mother might end up coming up the stairs. His calming brown eyes took a quick glance around the room spotting the open window , his sketchbook pages fluttering as if attempting to fly and his art pencil trying to keep them under control.
A small smile found its way onto the boy’s face at the remembrance of old times but it was quickly put to the back of his mind at the sound of clanging pots and pans. Ben’s hand swept over his bed and picked up the sketchbook, loosing some landscape drawings in the process. With his pencil in one hand and his book in the other he flew down the banister and jumped off ending right in front of the door. His mother Marissa gave him a look of disapproval but it was quickly washed away by salty tears that streamed down her face. " I'll be fine mum, no worries, I love you.." His smile seemed to brighten her mood as she ended up hitting his arm before he left.
His father was already nestled quietly in the car ready to go and a joyous laugh escaped his throat at the thought of old times again. " So Dad where we going today?" his brown eyes sparkled superbly in the morning sun. As his fathers one hand turned to start the flying car the other began to ruffle the 17 year olds hair a habit that Ben had grown to somewhat enjoy. As the car's engine grew into a subtle hum and the invisibility cloak was in full swing the car left the driveway and flew into the air with an unimaginable ease. Ben had a smile of hope on his face as they drove to Kings Cross Station, in anticipation of boarding the Hogwarts Express and heading for his final year, one that would soon never forget.
