Marauders and Future?
Hogwarts Realm is set in 2020, this is when Harry Potter is 40 years of age. Now this has got you thinking that Hogwarts Realm is a futuristic Hogwarts RPG which is true, but I bet what you didn't know is that the plot carries on from the end of The Goblet of Fire making lots of characters that died in The Order of The Phoenix, The Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows still alive [See Cannon List Above] also even some of the Marauders have children! So if you like playing a Marauder Character, whats to stop you doing so? But if you don't fancy playing a Marauder but still want to be a Cannon then theres always the book characters children, or you could play a character from when Harry Potter was at school.

Is there a plot?
Well we have a special way of which we make our Hogwarts Realm plot, first there is a entry thread for idea's and then the best idea is picked, each plot is developed during each term and each one is based around Voldemort coming back for the third time, and now he has student helpers at the school. If you'd like to see the plot so far, please tap your wand here. The next part of the plot has yet to be decided.

Classes and Exams?
On some Harry Potter RPGs you have to attend all classes and Exams to get to next year, here at Hogwarts Realm all we ask is that you take three or more subjects of your choice and make sure you attend those classes, otherwise whats the point of it being Hogwarts?

House Points and Quidditch?
House Points can be awarded to students by staff at anytime, all they have to do is PM me and the total is put into the welcome table. As well as being able to be awarded house points during a roleplay thread, every thread that gets 50 posts, 50 house points are awarded to every member of that thread. The Quidditch Total also adds to the House Points so whoever wins the Quidditch Cup has a good chance of winning the house cup. Also, Hogwarts Realm have a very oddly set out Quidditch Pitch, instead of an oval shape it is a circle, and in each quarter of the circle is each house, therefore making it so during a Quidditch Match all houses are playing against each other at the same time. This makes the game more exciting and run faster.
