the life of new yorkers has always been seen as glamorous, fun filled, and never without a dull moment. for some, that's true. for those that attend gissing academy in new york, it sure seems that way. the school is run by a group of five boys, known as the insiders. they have always been popular and represent every type of guy out there. there's mickey, the wild and crazy boy, jonathan, the fashion obsessed, arno, the playboy, david, the handsome jock and average joe type, and lastly, patch, the too cool for school type. these boys live the life of parties, drugs and sex. they can have anything they want and know it. but with all this fun comes drama, and tons of it.

the insiders were always at different schools. but now, due to outside circumstances, are all starting their senior year at gissing academy. this is a big deal, the school was until last year, an all girls school. the boys are looking forward to a new year with more and more girls, but things aren't always as easy as they make it seem. mickey's parents are splitting up, arno's dad has come out, jonathan's father has admitted to several felonies, patch's sister is in jail, and david's therapist parents are getting weirder by the minute. with all this, and the new school, can they handle it. better question is can you? gissing is a prestigious academy, and you only get in with a high gpa and a big wallet. it's up to you to make a name for yourself. become an insider, hate the insiders, or live in their shadows. it's up to you.
