APPEARANCE&&PERSONLAITY

DESCRIPTION :: Lantos is fairly tall, coming in at 6'1. It was quite useful when he was into soccer in the muggle world. He's very lean, and has a nice build. Not bulging muscles, but it is obvious he runs, and keeps in shape. His normal attire consists of jeans and fitted t-shirts, when he isn't in his school robes, of course.

Lantos has a very warm and welcoming face. His smile shows his pearly white teeth, and it's extremely bright. His eyes are a crystal blue color, and are just as inviting as the rest of his face. His long blonde hair in generally messy, and hands down dangerously close to hiding his eyes.

PERSONALITY :: Lantos is slightly eccentric to say the least. He’s very enthusiastic, and always up for something new. He loves meeting new people, and loves talking even more. Sometimes it’s quite difficult to get him to shut up, and people grow annoyed with him. He is pretty humorous though. He cracks jokes a lot, and takes very little seriously.

Lantos could very easily be considered dumb. He really could do well in school, but he’s a class clown. He loves to have attention on himself, and doing school work is not the way to get that attention. He wants people to like him, sometimes so much that he will keep pestering a person if they show the remotest disinterest in him. He doesn’t like to be not accepted.

A smile never leaves this boy’s face -- at least not often. He is quite charismatic, and has no problem with walking up to a stranger to introduce himself to them. But he does have a far darker side to him as well. When a person crosses his path by insulting him or his friends, he is a very different person. He’s been known to wind up in a few fist fights defending his friends.

LIFE&&HISTORY

HISTORY Aaron Lantos Harrison was born on April 23rd to Keanaa and Aaron Harrison. He was named Aaron after his father. Seeing as how his parents were both muggles, Lantos knew nothing of his wizarding skills, or the world he would one day join.

He went to school, and grew up like the average young boy would. Riding bikes, making forts, and going on ‘adventures’ with friends in the neighborhood. But when Lantos was 7 years old, he started noticing he could make things happen when he got really upset or angry. He’d changed a boy blue once when he took his soccer ball, and changed another kids pudding into slime mold. He knew there was something different about him.

And sure enough, when he turned 10 and was ready to head off to Hogwarts, a ministry official showed up to explain it to him and his family. While it was common that some parents reacted a little fearful at first, Lantos’ parents went to the extremes. First they refused to believe any of it, and then they began treating Lantos differently.

Unlike Lantos, his family liked to blend in. They didn’t like to be different from anyone, and Lantos often upset them with his wild actions in school. While at first they said they would tolerate his magic, it soon changed. Lantos left for his first year, but when he got to school, he received a letter telling him not to return until he’d gotten his anomaly dealt with, and was completely normal.

For Lantos first year of school, he stuck to himself. A lone boy who had been disinherited over a minor difference. His parents had always been somewhat cold. Many believed they only had a child because that was the set up for a nuclear family. But to disown him, Lantos most of the time could not believe it. The Ministry, of course, did not leave the boy without a home, and found him a foster home to stay in. And after a summer of living with the magical family, Lantos knew he could get through this without his horrible parents. He ditched his first name, ‘Aaron,’ given by his father, and began going by the name Lantos.

Lantos went back a very different child, or rather, himself. The fun-loving boy he’d been in elementary school. He took up playing quidditch, as had loved soccer while he was in the human world. It only made sense to keep playing, and by his fourth year he made the Gryffindor team as a Chaser. **

Lantos made tons of friends, and grew to love many of his subjects. Not necessarily the work that went with them, just the principle behind what he could do. Transfiguration was what first caught his eye. He loved making something out of an entirely different object. It was amazing to witness and then do himself. His third year, though, that is when he discovered his true passion.

Lantos took the Care of Magical Creatures class, and since the first lesson he has been amazed by the creatures of the magical world. It is likely the only homework he has or ever will enjoy. Lantos has been caught many a time sneaking into the woods just to hunt for different creatures. Something about them fascinates him.

Now, in his sixth year, Lantos is preparing himself to become a Magi-Zoologist. He wants to travel the world, studying the creatures he’s fallen in love with, but he doesn’t really keep check of his grades to get there. Lantos often ignores his school work till the last minute, and rather socializes around the common room. It’s the grades on the N.E.W.T.s that count anyways, right?

RP SAMPLE ::Lantos smiled as he sat with a group of friends talking about the latest quidditch game. It was nice to have the weekends to relax and catch up, but there was always someone to spoil the fun.

”So, how do you think you will all do on the essay for Charms. I could barely get enough on the page. There wasn‘t enough information on countering silence charms anywhere to get the paper done.

Lantos leaned his head back and groaned. He‘d blown the assignment off on Thursday night, and now he would suffer. ”It‘s really due tomorrow? I‘ve got a long night ahead of me. Lantos got up and walked to his Dormitory while the other laughed at him shaking their heads.

Lantos quickly grabbed a quill, parchment, and his charms book, and rushed back down, and out the portrait hole. The Library would be open for about fifteen more minutes. That was enough time to at least get the books he needed.

As Lantos rounded the corner, he walked straight into something… Well, someone. He rubbed his head, muttering some obscenities to himself before looking up to see a cute Hufflepuff girl standing in front of him.

”I am so sorry,” Lantos said, throwing himself down to pick up her books. He Stood up with them and handed them back to her. ”I was just in a rush, did not pay attention. You‘re Anna, right? We have Potions together.”

Lantos continued talking to the girl and the time ticked by. The two hit it off and got into a conversation about the teachers, and what they were looking forward to doing in the holidays. Everything was going smoothly till a teacher found them and yelled at them for being out of their common rooms this late.

The girl bustled off not wanting to be in trouble. And Lantos dropped his head in defeat. He‘d just screwed up bad. He‘d skipped out on getting his work done, and now only had his text book with three pages on silencing charms. He slinked back to his common room, ready to make a failure out of a paper, and knowing he would not be in bed till at least three o‘clock.
