You take the best of me.
Most people thought the mirror was Alana's best friend, because she spent so much time staring into it. It was said to be a very vain thing too, why else would someone stare at themselves in a mirror for so long than because they thought the were beautiful and loved them self. But the truth about Alana was, she wasn't so sure she was beautiful anymore. Okay... when she looked in the mirror, she found herself stunning, and her confidence never faltered, but the fact that she loved him must make something wrong with her.
She just didn't know what it was? Was it her beauty? Was that what was wrong with her? Or was it her personality? If it was that, she'd just have to be even more cruel, and she didn't know how much more cruel she could possibly get. Today, she took the time to appreciate her beauty and block out the negative thoughts about herself echoing in her brain.
Even though she didn't want to, it was time to leave and face the world on the outside of the girl's bathroom. Alana took a deep breath and fixed her face with her usual look of elegance, and cruelty. Her heels clicked loudly on the floor as she stepped outside the bathroom, and came face to face with James-Sirius Potter.
She didn't fancy seeing him here. What he was doing on this floor, she couldn't even know. The fact that her thoughts almost constantly revolved around one of his best friends made it excruciating to be anywhere near him, not that it was at all pleasant before. Alana's eyes narrowed and she made an angry hissing noise, and then laughed harshly. "Going into the girls bathroom, are we?" [/size]

The fourth floor isn't normally a place where you would catch James-Sirius wandering around, but today was different. He hadn't seen his older cousin in quite a bit of time (he skipped her class was too much), and figured it was time to pay her a visit. Although...he knew if he went into her classroom and saw her, he would just be asking for a stern talking to from Vic. Those talks were never fun. James stopped his stride and thought about what he should do, weighing the good and bad parts that could come from going in there.
He didn't realize, however, that he had stopped directly in front of the girl's bathroom, having completely forgotten that there was one on this floor. Still thinking about what he should do, he failed to notice the door open and out come a certain Lestrange of which he certainly had no intention of talking to. Unfortunately, the little snake had a few words to share with him.
"Going into the girls bathroom, are we?" James rested his hand on his chest and laughed his big booming laugh. "Oh Lestrange, you are just so funny. Utterly hilarious. You know, you should do a comedian act in Hogsmeade!" He smirked and dropped his hand from his chest. "To answer your question, no. But I must say, I am thoroughly surprised to see you coming from out of there. You see, I was under the impression that you were anything but a girl."
