Sirius Black, Head of Gryffindor and professor in a class he enjoyed since he was an animagus, strode down the hallways of Hogwarts, glimpsing out each window as he reminisced about his school years. It was here when he told Dorcas how he felt about her. It was funny, Sirius was a player but a rather tame one, always having girls fawn all over him. Yet he never went out with any until Dorcas. Straightening his robes, Sirius stopped, looking at the files in his hand, they were homework of the class he had just taught and now he had to grade them. Thus was why he was going to the common room for some peace and quiet.
Then his eyes spotted the woman he loved, and his walk became a sort of strut. "Hey beautiful." Sirius grinned, running his fingers through his short black hair, gray eyes held nothing but affection. He may have had the Black's dark looks but there was nothing dark about him. His wife knew that, and he respected her. "So hows teaching going?" He asked, eager to hear Dorcas speak, for her words seemed to always have an effect upon Sirius. He could listen to her for many hours, which James seemed to tease him for, but he couldn't care less. James was like that with Lily after all.
Snaking his arms around his wife's stomach, he kissed her upon the cheek and enjoying the touch between the two adults. He didn't need to have sex or show any more affection than a hug or kiss, because with Dorcas, all he felt was love and affection, something that the wizard thought would never happen to him. Things have certainly changed.
