How'd we get to know each other?
I had been extremely nervous waiting in the Sorting line. My dad had practically threatened to kick me out of the family if I became one of the slimy serpents--although he had later tried to pretend it was merely a joke--, and I knew I would be the laughingstock of the Weasleys if I became a badger. So when the Sorting Hat touched my head and proclaimed, 'Ravenclaw!', I felt only a bit of a disappointment. After all, my father had said since birth that I would be a Gryffindor like my parents. Sitting down at the House table, I noticed an impatient girl a year older than I was. She asked why I was upset, I told her, and from then on we became almost inseparable. We may not be in the same year, but we are the same age. And who else can help me pull pranks on my cousin Jamesy?
Any other thoughts? "I love Rowan to pieces! She is such an amazing person, and I love having her as a friend."

Standing in line waiting to be Sorted, I happened to notice an impatient girl who also had red hair.  She looked quite interesting, so later on, when we were both placed in Ravenclaw, I struck up a conversation.  And we have been inseperable ever since.  =)  Who else can help me pull pranks on my cousin Jamesy?

(Okay, so I hate to do this, but as Rose is now a fifth year [since Alby convinced ooc Rosie to be a fifth year like would make sense with the epilogue *grr*], and Rowan is a sixth year...the "how we met" now has to be changed...so, how about...
