PERSONALITY :: Gabriel is a very unsocial person tending to keep to himself and the close group of friends he has. He is always standing up for them unless of course they had it coming. Gabriel does try to defend them even in those situations since the friends he has are the closest one could wish for.
He tends to joke around with his friends but when away from them he puts on his cold icy mask to hide his emotions. He lashes out at people and tends to say very mean and hurtful things. He sees it as protecting his families reputation as well as his true emotions and thoughts.
He is very doubtful of himself thinking that he isn't cut out to be a Lestrange and also believes he is to good. This is what fuels his short temper and his random outburst. He also has a tendency to be very shady and deceitful, his reasons for being so are unknown. All that is known is that he will trick people into doing things at his will and also make them amuse him just for fun.

LIFE&&HISTORY
Gabriel was born while his mother was born into rough times, his mother being on the run and separated from her husband. His mother was able to avoid capture but sadly she had had to ditch Gabriel. She left him at the door step of an orphanage that she would always remember.
At this orphanage he was raised until he was seven, he had learned a great deal in this place and was sad to leave it. His mother had returned along with his father to retrieve him, he didn't want to leave though because he had come to see this place as home and his friends as his family. He had learned to walk, talk, and pretty much everything here. Life outside of it's walls were frightening to him but sadly he had no choice. His mother and father dragged him out of the place but not before having to deal with a little recognition. The witch that ran the orphanage realized who they were and tried to stop them. The women was Lucil the women whom had named Gabriel and cared for him. He watched as his mother effortless slew her in an epic display of tainted beauty.
That day never left his mind and haunted his dreams for the rest of his life. His mother and father weren't much help with dealing with it either. The two were to busy drilling the hatred of muggles into his skull and the following of voldemort. He acted as if he understood and believed it but truthfully he had his doubts about the whole thing.
When he was thirteen he was exposed to death and violence yet again. It was a lesson his mother had seen best after she found out he had befriended a muggle. The muggle was a good friend of his, his name being Alfred Theaoi. His mother forced him to watch her torture the poor ten your old and finally he watched that green light steal his life. He began to hate that color as well as his mother whom was always the one to kill those he cared about. His mother always left him with four simple words"You'll thank me later". His father just stood there and watched every time.
Slowly any hope of him breaking away from their traditions was blown out. After so many muggle killings he had to watch he finally gave up and decided that there was no point in fighting it. He was fifteen and had decided to just embrace his mother's ideals. It wasn't an easy thing but slowly it grew on him. Not the killing of muggles but it was the exercising of power as well as authority it seemed to make his mother feel and what he thought it would give him.
Unlike his mother though he never practiced the art and didn't actually plan on doing so. The thoughts of such were enough for him and he let them be his tainted love in a sense. He ultimately began to dive deeper into the surface of the art and soon his attention fell on Vlad the Impaler. Much to his mother's disdain which resulted in a large fight. His mother hated the very name of the man known as Dracula to some. As a result she tortured her own son, Gabriel until he was nothing more then shell. He stayed in that state for days and was soon restored to normal but his spirits were shattered.
His reason for actually seeking out a person in history to model himself after was to please his mother but in doing so he had angered her. It was the crucial moment in his life choice. As a result of this he decided that he would please his mother by following in her footsteps. Year 16 and his just was waiting for his chance.

RP SAMPLE :: Gabriel laid sprawled on his bed in a deep sleep, it had been one hell of a night for him. His mother had gotten mad at him yet again and the usual fight ensued but this time it ended in a duel. He lost it but his mother was actually happy he had fought back but he still go the usual round of crucio for disobedience. It was a vicious cycle but it was the Lestrange way or at least it seemed to be that way.
After several minutes had past since the sun had risen Gabriel started to stir. The yellow tinge of sunlight luminated his face bring out his unusual glow and also made the fluttering of his eyes easy to see. His arms twinged slightly as he slowly awakened, a look of pain or fright easily seen from the way his face was crunched up slightly. It was hard to tell if it was last nights events or some unseen dream that had caused him to awake and in such an odd state.
Soon his eyes shot open and he moved to a sitting position with a start. His hand moved to the night stand near his bed and he groped for his wand until finally he wrapped his fingers around it. He moved his arm forward so that it was in front of him and looked around the room. "It was only a dream." Gabriel said before he gasped in pain, the effects of torture were still evident. A long scar was visible on his arm and every move he made was filled with pain. The lesson of Obedience had yet again been taught to him but sadly he wouldn't learn it now or ever.
