APPEARANCE&&PERSONLAITY
DESCRIPTION ::
For the most part, Teddy's personality is reflected in his looks. Liking to spend his time outside, whether on the trail of a law-breaker or just spending time with his family, he has a tanned complexion and a tall, lean body. His hair, as it is difficult when the locks fall into his eyes when hunting down one villain or another enough, is cut short, and is only a couple shades lighter than black. His eyes, a warm shade of brown, crinkle slightly when he laughs, and are almost always welcoming. It’s very rare that he’s not smiling.
And, representing his need to be able to do anything at a moment’s notice, he dresses very casually. For work, he's found in his uniform—dark blue robes with a button-down shirt and slacks underneath, though keeps his shirt untucked and unbuttoned at the top, and his tie loose. On time off, however, his look changes entirely; when spending time with his soon-to-be family, as he often does, he’s found in muggle clothing, particularly t-shirts and jeans, as the formality was never needed. When he’s out with Victoire, he swaps the t-shirt for a button down, most of the time.
At least, that’s his typical look. As he’s a metamorphmagus, he can change his appearance at will, but lately only does it to entertain a younger audience. Or to freak out his fiancee, from time to time.
PLAYED BY :: Penn Badgley
PERSONALITY ::
Remus Lupin, while at school, had two contrasting sides to his personality. On one hand, he was an original Marauder, and thus constantly getting into trouble and breaking rules. On the other, he was a prefect; he was mature and composed, considerate and observant, and ultimately very intelligent. All of these traits blended together to form his son, Teddy Lupin.
While at school himself, the boy was constantly trying to find a place where he fit in. Changing looks and personalities on a day-to-day basis, he was never the same person twice, and he never truly knew who he was. Thankfully, however, all that soul-searching led him to not caring what everyone else thought, and shaped him to be the man he is now. He’s smart enough to alter his personality slightly, depending on who he is with—after all, he isn’t the same man at work as he is at home—but strong enough to act the way he does for himself. Anyone who doesn’t like him for it isn’t worthy of being in his life anyway.
Some might think that because he’s mature and responsible, that he’s dead boring to be around. He hopes that’s not the case. Teddy spends much of his time when not in the confines of his office joking around, playfully teasing friends and family alike, though knows enough to realize when it’s time to stop… sometimes a bit late, granted, but no one’s perfect.

LIFE&&HISTORY
HISTORY
It was late in April, and the second great Wizarding War was upon them. Left and right, people were dying, muggles and those born from them were being tortured, and the world had gone up in flames. Most everyone believed that they were in no condition to raise a child when their lives changed drastically on a day-to-day basis. Nymphadora Tonks and Remus Lupin were among them, strong supporters of waiting until the war was over, but sooner than they’d ever expected, Teddy Remus Lupin was born.
That didn’t mean they loved him any less, of course. From the very beginning—from the simple fact of his birth, to the first time he changed his hair color, and everything in between—Teddy was obsessed over, visited by hundreds of relatives and friends alike. He was the small circle of light in the dark world in which they lived, and he was loved for it, even before they really knew him.
Exactly six days later, the battle at Hogwarts took place; ‘Dora and Remus didn’t make it out alive. Everyone was devastated, and he was immediately taken under his grandmum Andromeda’s wing, held close as the last piece of evidence of his parents.
Teddy grew up knowing that he’d never see his parents again; his grandmother was, while kind and caring, extremely honest, and from the very beginning he was told the truth. Yes, his parents were dead. No, they weren’t going to be able to visit. Yes, they loved him very much. And yes, everyone misses them. Four-year-old Teddy had nodded slowly, the words sinking into his unfocused four-year-old brain, then ran off to play quietly in the yard as tears trickled slowly down his guardian’s cheeks.
That’s the only conversation he remembers having in his early years, at least pertaining to his parents. Though no one tried to hide his parents’ fate—there were at least two pictures of the happy couple around the house, one of which was with Teddy… Andromeda had claimed there’d be more if Remus wasn’t so opposed to being in photos—they didn’t like to talk about it much, and as he grew, Teddy learned to just stop asking. Even as a young boy, he was very perceptive, and noticed the grimaces and winces carefully hidden whenever he brought the subject up in conversation.
As he grew, Teddy spent much of his time at the Potters’ house, and every so often, one of the Weasleys’, as his never-ending supply of toddler energy proved to just be too much for the aging Andromeda. At least five days a week were spent playing with the other kids in the yard (and by playing, he means causing trouble, and by causing trouble, he means practically maiming one another on a normal basis), bothering his godfather Harry with incessant questions, and overall, just being a kid. Harry quickly became one of his idols, and the boy, for a good couple of years in his adolescence, had styled his own look after him: dark, unruly hair, green eyes, and even glasses on occasion. After all, the man was the only father figure he had.
His Hogwarts letter came at age eleven, as per normal, and thankfully during his school years, he found his own identity... sort of. Being away from the adults in his “family” gave him the freedom needed to explore who he was, rather than who they all expected him to be (having known his parents), so he got to try out different personalities. Being a metamorphmagus helped, of course; every few weeks, he would change his appearance to match his new persona, attempting to figure out exactly who he was all the while.
In his second year, he’d given up completely on defining himself, and settled for just acting however he felt he should. That seemed to suit him well; he had friends, his professors adored him, and his life was going well, particularly as he was sorted into Gryffindor: the very same House as his father had been. And every break they had was spent over at the Potters’, spending time with his “family”—which had now become his group of closest friends, as they weren’t technically related… Teddy never seemed able to forget that. And that was just as well, as one of the girls had always stood out to him (after, of course, he realized that they didn’t actually have cooties). Victoire Weasley was his closest friend growing up, not “acting like a girl” often enough for the preteen to mind her company.
Everything turned upside down that year, however. The two were curious, daring, and adventurous, and to prove it, Teddy had dared the brave and beautiful Victoire to run into the Forbidden Forest and bring back a stone; any stone would do, of course, but she had traveled deep into the forest to find one. And on the way back, she’d tripped, the rock breaking open… and people began appearing out of nowhere. Immediately, the young boy had pulled out his wand and rushed forward, back to Victoire, protecting her from the new arrivals… but it soon became apparent that there was no need. People he’d seen only in photographs, only visualized from stories told by Harry, the “good guys” of the war were looking around, clearly as confused as he was. His gaze finally caught a woman’s, and in a cliché moment that’s usually only seen in movies, the two reached out toward each other, then ran into each other’s arms, crying. Remus soon joined the two, and the family was complete.
Things were… strange after that. That was truly the only word he could think to use to describe the situation. The three lived with grandmum Andromeda, and Teddy’s parents (his mum in particular; his dad seemed content with anything his wife dreamed up) seemed intent on reliving his childhood—an absolute nightmare for any teenager, so their relationship was close, but strained at points. He didn’t want to have to be a child again; in his own eyes, he was well on his way to adulthood, and the fact that he was being looked down on as though he was still a child bothered him. Thus, it came as a bit of a relief when they had another child, and yet another after that; not only did he have his own family that he was related to by blood, but they took much of the energy out of his parents, which, in turn, took them out of his hair. And, as he continued to grow, he began seeing his parents more as friends than true parents; he, after all, hadn’t been raised by them, and chose to listen to them only because he respected them.
All the while, he continued going to Hogwarts, but was still having trouble being happy with himself; it felt as though, despite his parents’ return from the dead, he still wasn’t a part of a family. He’d expressed his fears once with Victoire, who’d assured him that blood didn’t make a family, but it still didn’t seem enough. Maybe that’s why he’d begun to have feelings for her. Maybe it was just because they’d been getting steadily closer every year they went through together. Maybe it was fate. Either way, by fourth year, Teddy had finally realized he’d fallen and fallen hard, and took the leap of faith in asking her out. She agreed, and the two were finally together.
Just this year, Teddy finally gathered his courage and proposed, to the delight of Victoire and the rest of the huge family. And, for the first time in his life, he truly feels he belongs.

Sirius Black was clearly a mastermind. And all of his friends thought he was a dolt; now he had proof, legitimate proof that he not only had a brain, but used it sparingly, when certain situations arose. Yes, he was clearly the genius of the group.
...All right, maybe that was going a bit far.
But he did think this latest trick was rather brilliant, if he did say so himself. He'd been bored, lounging around near the lake right after dinner, eyeing a few of the girls around him, none of which caught his interest. The sun was just starting to set, the birds were chirping, random charms were being cast... all in all, a perfect, boring day. And who happened along but young Peter Pettigrew, sporting a black eye and torn robes? Apparently, his mate had gotten into a bit of a row with a couple of seventh years, and was still fuming from the event. And Sirius Black, being who he was, decided to take full advantage of it.
After a surprisingly short amount of convincing (the winning line was something along the lines of "Honestly, rocks really do move when you're not looking. And the next time they try to punch you, they'll get hurt"), Peter was seated at his feet, flailing his arms about, his head and body now completely stone. But honestly, was it his fault that the boy couldn't perform the charm to save his life? He'd simply suggested that he turn himself into a rock; Peter had been the one to actually try it, and, by the looks of his panicked arms and legs, failed miserably.
So, Sirius-- no longer bored-- had led the boy up to the castle to see the nurse, pat him on the head after he was healed, assured the boy he would come check on him later on, and received a week's worth of detention from a passing professor. And it was around then that the excitement of the day had begun to wear off, and Sirius decided it was high time he found James.
The first stop was the dorm they shared, and luckily, he was there. Sirius' grin faltered at the 'thump' that announced his entrance, and his gaze found the book that had slid through James' hands. A text book? James Potter? Merlin, he'd been spending too much time with Evans. He gave James a strange look before throwing himself onto his bed, his grin finding its way back to his face, oblivious to the 'habitat' James had constructed.
"I'm not the idiot of the group." he announced happily, folding his hands behind his head as he laid back.
