Teddy Lupin was trying to surprise his fiancee.
One would think that being a metamorphmagus would help this considerably, but Victoire had some strange way of knowing exactly who he was, regardless of what he looked like. He could be an old, fat man, or a young boy with spots, and somehow the woman was able to pick him out in a crowded room and know, with no hint of doubt, that he was Teddy. It might be easier today, as she wasn't on the lookout for him-- having no idea that he'd taken a couple weeks off from work just to visit Hogwarts-- but he wasn't about to take any chances.
So, disguised cleverly as a young Gryffindor student--he appeared a third year, at most-- Teddy walked through the corridors, moving with the crowds, hoping not to run into Victoire all the while. He made it into the castle, through breakfast, and up to the common room without anyone so much as glancing in his direction twice. Once in the cozy interior of his former common room, Teddy conjured the flowers he'd bought to impress her, returned his features to their normal appearance, then strolled toward the Charms room.
Looking back on it, he probably shouldn't have assumed that it was lunch time. The corridors were empty, however, and the thought of class didn't cross his mind; he merely assumed they were all eating and chatting to their hearts content in the Great Hall. It would give him ample time to seat himself on her desk, arrange his features into what he practiced to be a casual, yet still overwhelmingly happy look, turn a quill into a vase to hold the flowers, and wait for her to finish her meal and happen in on him.
As it so happened, he reached the room and pushed open the door, flowers at his side, excitement boiling in his veins. Only he wasn't greeted by the empty classroom; instead, at least 30 pairs of eyes turned to face him, students looking confused at their newest arrival. His own eyes widened as understanding settled over him-- Merlin, he should've checked her schedule-- but he simply grinned and leaned against the doorway, trying to appear as though he meant to burst in on her class. Catching Victoire's gaze, his grin widened perceptibly, and he gestured for her to continue the lesson.

Intuition is a very funny thing. As a clueless as she might sometimes be, Victoire seemed to just know things at times. Like. let's take for example when Teddy had tried to 'surprise' her many times before now. It's not that she didn't appreciate the effort; she did of course, and the flowers were always nice, but she knew him too well, and pretty much anticipated his next move and saw through his change of appearance quickly. Most of time she played along, till could no longer contain her laughter and told him straight up that he could change back to her Teddy. She had never told him this, but the primary reason she always knew it was him was because he could never change his eyes, they were always the same, and to her, that was the best part about him. However... she didn't see this one coming.
It had been quite the long day, and it had passed in somewhat of a blur. Finally, she had reached her last class of the day- fourth year charms, and was startled to remember that she had to through the longest explanation of the day. Victoire groaned loudly as the students filed into their seats, they would be practicing the charm Accio, and that always meant that she would get a few books or materials flying towards her head because half the time, the students weren't the best at aiming. She could just about picture it now; the bruises would last for days!
Defeated, she swished her wand at the board so that big purple letters spelled out the words 'Summoning Charm'. Taking a deep breath, unaware that she would soon be interrupted, she began her speech.
"Our lesson today is going to based upon that spell. The summoning charm is rather simple but we're going to start smal anyway. There are two ways to do it. You can either point your wand at the object desired and clearly say 'Accio!'" she demonstrated with her jab of her wand, and sent a book flying gracefully into her awaiting hand, "or you can name the object, if it is hidden, or far away. Like this- 'Accio Pencil!'" A pencil came flying out of her bag and landed on the book but she didn't quit talking just yet. "Since it is much simpler to cast the basic summoning charm, that'll be our first mission." She smiled at the semi eager faces in front of her, and swished her wands once to clear the tables to the side.
"Try making your charms book fly to you. Just be careful, if you're too eager, it might hit you right in the face. Believe me, books sc-." She didn't have a chance to finish her sentence, because at that point, a very handsome fiancee of hers burst excitedly into the room. The entire class turned to their new arrival, as if hoping he would bring them the news that they no longer needed to go to class, and they should all go out and play in the fresh snow. Victoire looked up, wondering what the distraction was, and she quickly lost her train of thought and blushed slightly upon seeing him. Teddy, the master of thinking things through, had just interrupted her class, with flowers! How... odd? Well, it was sweet, none-the-less, and it made her smile widely.
"Mr. Lupin! You are just in time... we were just learning the summoning charm." Victoire smiled at him, her twinkling eyes congratulating him on sneaking up on her unnoticed for once. "However, you are a bit late... I think I might have to give you detention for that..." She shook her head lightly, and then raised her eyebrow at him. "Or how about we forget about the detention, and you give us a demonstration on the summoning charm instead?" Victoire repressed the urge to giggle; she had recently been told it was unprofessional and teachers did not giggle by a one Minerva Mcgonagall, but then again, when did Victoire ever really act like a teacher?
Victoire considered leaving the classroom for a little bit to speak to Teddy while the students practiced their charm, but she couldn't help but gesture for him to now continue her lesson, he was the one with the great ideas anyway.

It didn’t take long for Victoire to notice his presence—after all, he’d stolen the attention of the vast majority of her class—and he was pleased to note the wide grin on her face that matched his own exactly. She flushed as well, and Teddy realized then that she hadn’t known he’d be visiting; he’d succeeded, for one of the first times in his life, in surprising her. Though he wasn’t sure how it was possible, his face brightened just slightly more, and he propped the flowers up against the interior wall he was near, freeing his hands so he could cross his arms over his chest.
"Mr. Lupin! You are just in time... we were just learning the summoning charm." Ah, the summoning charm. He remembered the first time he learned it; his fourth year as well, though his professor wasn’t nearly as good as Victoire (though, to be fair, he supposed he was biased). The room had been filled with books that flew at top speed across the space, often hitting the caster straight in the face—if it hadn’t hit anyone else in the process. There had been blood dripping from noses, eyes turning black, and he was fairly sure one Hufflepuff girl had somehow managed to break her hand by accidentally summoning the professor’s desk, rather than one of the books on top of it. He’d come out of class with so many bruises and scratches that he was barely recognizable underneath them.
If it was only the first time they were learning it, if they’d had no practice at all with the spell, Teddy had no desire to stick around; he rather liked his face the color it was, rather than black and blue. But, he only nodded approvingly. “Ah, accio? A good charm, very useful.” he said simply, while wondering how exactly he could maneuver himself out the door so that he wasn’t forced to witness the disaster that was about to unfold.
Either Victoire had noticed his slow edging toward the corridor, or was just teasing him regardless, as she addressed her words to him once more, rather than actually continuing on with the lesson herself. "However, you are a bit late... I think I might have to give you detention for that..." Teddy’s jaw dropped comically, acting as though he was horrified at the prospect. "…Or how about we forget about the detention, and you give us a demonstration on the summoning charm instead?"
Uh… Teddy, teach? That could end up being a bigger failure than watching the kids attempt the spell themselves. But Victoire was staring at him expectantly, so he plastered a grin to his face and shrugged. “Seems like a fair deal to me.” he agreed, even though it didn’t.
He stepped over to the front of the room, turning his back to the class to scowl jokingly at his fiancee before sitting atop her desk and facing the kids once more. "All right. I guess I just have to show you how it’s done, then? It’s pretty easy… er… what to summon…?” He paused, mind going into Auror mode, scanning the kids in front of him. One boy, in the far back corner of the class, was looking down at his lap, examining something. It looked vaguely like a frisbee… He recognized it soon as a Fanged Frisbee, and his first thought was that they were banned at Hogwarts—at least, they were in his day. So, with the quick reflexes only Aurors could manage, he had his wand out and had said “accio!”, the frisbee flying easily into his waiting hands.
“Should’ve been paying attention to the lesson,” he teased as the boy glanced up and scowled at him, and Teddy turned to lightly toss the banned item to Victoire. “I think they’re still banned, if my sources are correct?” [/blockquote]

“Ah, accio? A good charm, very useful.” Teddy looked like he was thinking hard, and it suddenly occurred to her that he was probably thinking the same exact thing she was, how the hell would they get out of here alive? Alright, maybe that was an exaggeration, but Victoire remembered specifically that, aside from her class being an absolute riot during the teaching of this spell, Teddy had also warned her to be careful in this particular learning of the 'Accio'. Too bad by the time she had reached her turn, she had forgotten about the warning completely. You could imagine what a disaster that was, because Victoire had been having a very clumsy day.
All-in-all, it made Victoire very anxious to see what Teddy would come up with. His fake jaw drop made her remember exactly why she loved him, and she found herself unable to contain a small snicker at that, and the fact that she could've offered him another proposal instead of the detention, but that wouldn't have been appropriate in front of the children.
Victoire placed her left hand on her hip, her right hand clutching her wand just incase Teddy, the auror, made a student like blunder(hey, being a teacher makes you motherly at time.)
“I think they’re still banned, if my sources are correct?” A giggle threatened to escape from Victoire's mouth, but to be professional, she held it in as best as she possibly could. It was just like Teddy to make a spectacular entrance, bust a students for doing something against the rules, and still look cool. Well, it certainly helped that he was an auror. "You're not that old Teddy, and they've been banned ever since Mcgonagall's ages."
She took the frisbee in her hand and tapping it lightly with her wand made it turn into a vase for the flowers Teddy had brought her. She had not thank him yet, but she couldn't help but feel grateful for his efforts and such beautiful flowers. However, Victoire had not yet forgotten about the student, her gaze fell upon him, and she regarded him with a very rare stern look that you wouldn't see from Victoire very much. "Ten points from Slytherin, and do not argue, you're lucky I don't let Filch deal with you!" The boy opened his mouth once and then closed it, defeated. She then returned her features back to their normal expression and turned towards Teddy and winked.
Silently, she strolled to the door and before opening the door, turned to her class. "I have to be excuse for a few minutes. Keep on practicing the summoning charm and try not to break anything please? I have to remodel my class every time I teach this charm..."
She managed to shut the door behind them before she heard one of the braver students call out 'Accio!' and winced at the crash that sound after it. "Ugh, Can you explain to me why i became a teacher again Teddy?" she said smiling softly. She knew exactly why she had become a teacher, and even through the destruction of her possession, she couldn't help but love it.
Alone in the corridor, she had a chance to really look at him. He was all prettied up for her, and she had the urge to just kiss him right then and there. He was her fiancee after all, she could do that right? However, she disreagrded those urges for now and instead stared into his eyes. "I... missed you and I'm so glad you came and see me." It was the other true. Oh how she had missed him.
