The year was 2040, and Hogwarts and the wizard world has led a peaceful existence after the downfall of Lord Voldemort in 1997 and the disappearance of one Harry Potter not so soon after the dark lord’s downfall. With the death of the Albus Dumbledore, Minerva McGonagall had taken over as headmistress until 2025 where she resigned. In her place came Apollo Hencraft and Roberta Wellington, two very different people (who did not get along one ounce). Despite Hencraft’s and Wellington’s disagreements, the school continued to thrive beneath them.
Then one day in 2039 the two heads of the school disappeared without a trace. Ministry officials were brought in to search for the heads and to down play the disappearance. Despite efforts the heads were never found and no clue was uncovered. A new problem was arising. Who would take over as head of the school? What about the school’s staff? The staff members, who knew of the disappearance of the old heads and feared the reason, had quit their positions. The ministry found they would also need to fill the Staff positions of the school as well.
However, the Ministry had placed these duties in the hands of one person: an Unspeakable, Owen Wrencroft. Wrencroft headed the school for three solid years before solving the Mystery of the Missing Heads. However, during the third term, students began disappearing. No one knew why or how. Until people started realizing the ghost like appearances they saw when extremely tired or drunk were not just their imagination but those of the people missing.
Upon looking into the accident of a staff member witnessing the disappearances of two students it was discovered that a moving chamber were sending who ever happened upon it to another dimension, a Hogwarts that changed with the time but the occupants never aged, some occupants having been there since around the Founders' time period.
Now that everyone is back people wonder how the faded, as those who lived in the other dimension were called, will cope with being back. However, with the Mystery solved, Headmaster Wrencroft was fired from his position as Headmaster and in his place one Randel Erring was assigned, a Senior Secretary to the Minister of Magic, a man that the staff dislike for the simple reason he replaced Wrencroft.
However, Hogwarts' aminosity is not the only thing that needs to be worried about. Over a year ago a group surfaced, the Creva'llcs, and started causing mischief for the Ministry of Magic. However, under that another group is stirring that one no knows of. The question now remains what are these groups planning and is there a new war in store for the Wizardry world?
