One Tree Hill takes off from season five, with the addition of Sam and people from season six showing up whenever. Lucas has been left at the altar, but has realized it was for the best. Millie and Mouth are having trouble in their relationship, and Brooke turns to Mouth when she starts considering letting Victoria have the business. Millie, upset about her problems with Mouth, starts confiding in Skills. Haley and Nathan are trying to deal with the aftermath Nanny Carrie left behind.

In Manhattan and Brooklyn, things are as tense as always. Chuck is trying to decide whether he wants to become a permanent part of the van der Woodsen family. Dan is trying to make it up to Serena after she learns he got intimate with her mentor. Blair is hoping to gain a spot back at Yale, and trying to deal with her bad case of senioritis. Jenny is falling for Eric, but Eric, having realized he was not the way he thought, wants Vanessa. Rufus and Lily, realizing that their son being dead was a lie, are now trying to locate him. The drama just keeps intensifying.

Then, suddenly, in an event nobody saw coming, a strange occurrence of global warming causes a certain part of the United States to be like Pangea. Somehow, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Tree Hill, and the Hamptons all merge into one, and the New York society clashes with North Carolina.

Can the students from Constance deal with living in a small town? Can the adults? And how will the Tree Hill residents take it? Which relationships will be mixed up? Which new enemies or frenemies will be made?
