Escaping the noise

Evie shrugged. "Its not the tale that disturbed me. Its how cruel a mother can be to her own child...." She sighed. "Bitch...." She muttered. When Gabriel got up and grinned. "Sure we can... What do you wanna know? I can tell you absolutely anything you wanna know about Evelyn J. Thomas!" She glanced at him then started walking. "Name your first topic. Or ask your first question Mr. Lestrange." She grinned. "I mean... Mr. Gabriel...."

"She isn't a mother, she is more of a bitch that gave birth to me." Gabriel said with a laugh but it quickly died down. "Well I want to ask you one question but I think I'll start with something else. How old are you and have you had any particularly bad experiences?" Gabriel asked in a half minded way, he was paying attention but his mind was focused on something else, the question he was going to ask her later.

Evie grinned. "Im 16 years old." She thought for minute then made the most disgusted face she could make. "Well.... The most horrible experience I've had is walking in on my mom and dad trying to make me a new sibling this summer." She laughed slightly. "It was horrible.... I really wish they told me that they'd put up a charm to block out the sound... Im scarred for life." She shivered then laughed again. "Next question?"

"Wow I know that had to be the most embarrassing and disturbing thing to ever see. Just the idea of that would make me jump off of a building." Gabriel said with a laugh. Gabriel couldn't even began to fathom how horrible an image that had to be."Well for the next question, I think I'll ask you.....Are you single?" Gabriel asked and gave her a genuin smile, he was hoping she would say yes.

Evie laughed. "Oh Merlin... You have NO idea how disturbing that was... I walked in during a position change too...." She shivered and dry heaved a bit before turning back to Gabriel. "Horrible." She smiled and waited for his next question.

"Well for the next question, I think I'll ask you.....Are you single?"

Evie blushed deeply and her smiled grew bigger. "Currently... Yes. I am." She said bashfully. She felt her face grow a bit hotter and she looked down as she walked. Damnit Evie.... Why must I be so shy!?

"Wow, a position change. I didn't need that visual, I think I just lost my apatite for next three years." Gabriel said with a laugh. He was surprised by how much worse her experience could get. He quickly returned her smile warmly.

"Who ever the guy is must be pretty happy and he is damn lucky. It's not often you come across a girl with such a great sense of humor with a personality to match." Gabriel said not commenting on her looks since they weren't that important to him but she did look pretty good in his opinion.

Evie smiled brightly as her face grew hotter. She looked up at Gabriel then playfully shoved him. "There is no guy... I mean... I like a guy... but too many girls like him so Im not even gonna try..." She sighed. "How do you approach a guy that can have any girl he wants?" She said more to herself. She shook the thoughts from her head and looked at Gabriel. "How about you? Single? Taken? Or are there just too many girls for you to choose from?" She laughed lightly.

"Well if you like the guy and a lot of girls want him or he can have any girl he wants then ask him when he is alone. Make sure to show him that your not afraid to do so and ask him from your heart. That way he knows you actually like him for him and not because he is a piece of eye candy everyone is after." Gabriel said with a warm smile. "We'll I'm not taken currently mainly because there aren't any girls I really like except for two girls. One of them I like more then the other though." Gabriel said but it was half lie, the number was one to big.

Evie took all of it in then smiled. "Thanks Gabriel. Our first real conversation and I feel like I've known you forever." She listened to his answer and smiled wider. "Well if you need any help approaching the girl, let me know. I'll help you through it." She said with a reassuring smile following behind it. She walked in silence for a moment then turned to Gabriel. "Hey. Did you have anymore questions about Evelyn Thomas?"

"Wow, I never thought I would hear anybody say that to me." Gabriel said with a smile of pure surprise. He was surprised by Evie's comment and how open she was around him. "If I do need help with that special someone if I ever meet that person I'll ask you." Gabriel said with a smile. Gabriel followed behind Evie and gave her a quick smile. "One last question. Who is it that you like?" Gabriel asked, he really wanted to know who it was.

Evie laughed. "I'll probably be asking you for alot of help then..." She trailed off. When he asked his question she stuttered a bit. "Welll... I mean... r...right now its Remus-James.... But... I uhhmm.... Yeah... Who..." She cleared her throat. "Who is it that you like??" She asked curiously. She felt a little stupid for mixing up her words but she'd never told anybody that she actually liked him... she'd never even said it aloud. Now here she was, with a very chamring and handsome guy, tripping over her words like a four year old with untied shoelaces. Damn... she thought to herself.

"Remus-James...you better not tell Lucinda about that she might blow a gasket on that one." Gabriel said with a laugh at the fact she was tripping over her words and who she liked. "Your not good at talking in front of guys are you? If you want to ask Remus out your going to have to be very confident and tackle that problem." Gabriel said with a serous smile.

"Well the person I like is........." Gabriel began and mentally cursed his inability to come up with names on the spot. "Nobody. I currently don't like any one, I've been so wrapped up in everything else that I haven't had time to look for any body to have a crush on." Gabriel said nervously and followed by a nervous laugh. "Well actually....there is...... this one girl I like but she likes........somebody else." Gabriel said pausing between words because he was so nervous. He just couldn't figure out what to say or anything, his mind was to focused on what he wanted. After a few seconds his feelings got the best of him.

Gabriel grabbed Evie's arm and pulled her towards him. He kissed her forcefully and hoped that she wouldn't freak out.

Evie shook her head. "Im okay with talking to guys.... I even flirt a bit. I just... havent really accepted it? I mean... I have but I didnt really tell anybody yet..." She grinned sheepishly. She listened as he started to tell her who he liked. She heard his words sort of fumble around then he got quiet. They walked in silence for a few minutes. Next thing she knew, his lips had crashed into hers.

At first, she wanted to push him away and slap him for being so bold. After a few seconds, she started to melt and didnt know what to do. Then, she reached up and put her arms around his neck and deepened the kiss.

"Flirting can lead to a lot of other things and it's ok to not want to tell every one about it. We all have our own personal secrets." Gabriel said with a kind smile. He wanted to make sure she would feel comfortable with trying to ask Remus-James at even though he wish she wouldn't. He really liked her.

Gabriel was so surprised that he hadn't been hit in the face because of what he had done but was even more surprised even more by the fact she deepened it. Gabriel broke it and gave her an awkward smile. "I'm sorry....about that, I don't know....what came over me." Gabriel said stumbling over his words and blushing brightly.

Evie blushed deeply and looked away. "Dont be sorry...." She said softly. "It's fine... I think I wanted you to..." She said even softer, barely above a whisper. She turned to the lake and looked down at the ground. Way to go Evie. Now you're even more confused... Why did you let him do that? You should've stop him... She thought to herself. She had to stop herself from hitting her head.

She turned back towards Gabriel and smiled softly. She moved close to him and then hugged him tight. "Je suis tellement stupide..." She whispered before letting him go. She kissed his cheek. "Je suis desolee. Im sorry Gabriel." She said sadly, before she began to walk back to the castle.
