"Oye! Lucinda Malfoy! That's what I'll be there for," giggled Kat, "I'll make sure no psycho guys try to take you home or anything. I'll also look out to make sure that you don't do anything too bad. That...or take all sorts of pictures." She giggled even more and shook her head in complete and total amusement. Katherine wouldn't do something so bad as taking embarrassing pictures of her friend.
Looking down at her nails, she smiled a little more at how amazing they looked. To her, they were perfect. "So then...off we go. Where should we meet? Entrance hall or outside?" she asked very curiously, glancing toward the door that lead back out to the corridor.

Entrance hall. I'll only be a few moments. And if you take embarassing ictures I'll haunt you till your last breath!" Lucinda said as she threw a pillow that she had summoned up at her friend, "Word of advice if I drink and my words start slurring cut me off. cause normally a few drinks after slurring words I pass out cold. Last time I passed out I woke up passed out on the bar with no shirt on. I had started a strip act before I passed out according to the female waitress who left me there and stayed at the bar to make sure nothing happened to me. She knew I was under the legal drinking age but she was same as me so didn't do anything."

"Oye!" yelped Katherine as she was nearly hit with the pillow. Luckily, Quidditch had given her fairly quick reflexes and she managed to deflect the object and toss it aside. She giggled and shook her head before saying, "Don't worry. I won't take pictures. Just so you know, I hate having people take embarrassing pictures of me so I wouldn't do that to anyone else. Payback sucks...I know."
She listened as Lucinda told her all about a previous event with alcohol that left the Slytherin girl passed out in a bar without her top on. It was a little shocking but Kat knew that booze did those sorts of things to people. Sincerely, she reassured, "Don't worry. I'll make sure you don't drink so much you pass out or start stripping on the bar."

Lucinda laughed and said, "And I will do the same for you.... If you drink. Now lets go get ready, then meet in the great hall and then go party. And get that mr DJ to turn the music up." She giggled madly and headed towards the door." She skipped out and down the hall smiling and almost ran into a suit of armor but missed it. She sighed and continued happily. She was ready to party.

"No worries there," assured Katherine before she followed Lucinda out of the room of requirements. Finnigans and Dunleavys, her father's side really, could be hard drinkers if the right event came up but Katherine was an exception. Not only did alcohol have excess calories that she just didn't need, booze also altered people's state of consciousness...another thing she didn't need if she intended to make good on her goal to play professional Quidditch.
With an excited expression still on her face, Kat headed for the staircase. Hufflepuff common room was just a floor up from the Slytherins' so they would both be headed in the same direction for a while...at least until the 'puff common room. She jogged down each set of the stairs with enthusiasm. It wouldn't take her too long to change. Especially since she knew right where everything was.

Lucinda headed to the slytherin common room and then ran up to her dorm and began changing quickly. She fixed her make up and hair style and color and was ready to go. She headed up to meet Kat in the entrance way. She was now wearing a pair of black leather pants, a red tube top, stilletto heels, and a studded belt with a skull buckle. She had her blonde hair curled and no streaks in it.

Mumbling the password to the common room, she pulled the portrait open and walked through. Jogging up the stairs to her dorm, she noticed a couple of her dormmates chatting to each other from their beds as they worked on homework for Monday before they headed down to dinner. They questioned her a little about her new look so she told them all about her plan to make her mother freak out. As she spoke, though, she dug through her trunk for the sparkly jeans that she wore when she went out with friends or family. They were specially fitted for her.
After changing her pants and slipping on one of her favourite green, white and gold shirts, Katherine checked herself over in the mirror really quick and gave a short nod of approval. This only got her whistles and teasing from her fellow Hufflepuff dormmates. Giggling, she thanked the girls and headed out to meet up with Lucinda. She hurried along the corridor to the Entrance Hall where she greeted her Slytherin friend with a cheerful, "Whoa! You look great!"

"Thank you! Now lets go cause we need to party." Lucinda said and headed towards the door. She walked across the grounds to the large gate and pushed it open. "Okay so do you want to go to a wizarding or muggle bar/club?" Lucinda asked as she walked down the path slowly so not to get dirty or sweaty. If she wanted to get sweaty it was going to be at the club not before she got there.

Following Lucinda off through the open door, Katherine looked down at her trainers and wondered whether they would make her look silly at a club. She didn't do well in heels and, besides that, her trainers went perfectly with the jeans and lightly coloured shirt. She knew her outfit matched and everything but she wasn't sure if it fit the sort of attire most people wore to clubs in England or Scotland.
"Um...which do you think would be better? I've never done this whole club thing without a protective male cousin practically attached to my hip...so I really don't know," Kat replied honestly, giving the topic a little more thought. Glancing down at her shoes again, she pondered something else before saying, "Maybe wizarding. I don't want to run into any chavs. I mean...there's this lot that live just down from where I do, but in the muggle part of London, and I honestly can't stand the buggers."

"Yeah we can do wizarding club." Lucinda said, "You get dis respectful man whores everywhere though. Sometimes they never leave ya alone." Lucinda said with a shrug. She reached the sidewalk and began walking towards a club. "You can go in ahead of me I'll have to flirt with the guy that checks ages so he'll let me in. Thats why Muggle clubs are best they only check IDs which I have a fake one and I can make one for you simplly whenever you need one."

"Most muggle clubs insist that you be 18 years old to get in but there are a few that let 15 and 16 year olds in. That's the legal drinking age, 18 I mean. But you only have to be 17 to be of age in the wizarding world," Kat said with a smile as they walked along the pathway toward Hogsmeade. Though she wasn't much of a partier, she did know the laws well enough.
Katherine laughed softly and shook her head as she added, "I don't really need a fake ID. I'll be 18 in June...right before the end of school. Then I can do pretty much anything I want in both the magical and muggle world." Even with her slightly devious side, she didn't ever break major or even slightly serious laws and rules...unless she had an accomplis and a very good reason.

"Ya. True." Lucinda said, "Your lucky. I have another two years before I am of legal age. It sucks." She shrugged and continued walking and finally reached the club. She smiled and said, "Time to party. Come on." She headed to the door and walked in naturally before the door man could say anything. She looked around and said, "Lots of people here tonight. Time to dance." Lucinda said and headed to the dance floor.

"I don't know exactly how lucky it is but as long as I get into professional Quidditch once school is over, I guess it's a good thing," stated Katherine, thinking about her life after school. Nothing was certain but she really did like the idea of being able to do whatever she right well pleased whenever she cared about it. Though, her father would probably check up on her nearly every single day. She snickered quitely to herself at the thought.
As the reached the club, Kat followed Lucinda in. It was shocking how natural she was with the whole thing. She was so confident about it that the man at the front hadn't even questioned whether she was of age or not. Kat, on the other hand, had her wand checked to make sure she was old enough to be out and about. He let her in, hesitantly, and then went back to watching the door. Katherine merely shook her head and watched as her friend headed for the dance floor. Instead of doing the same, she lingered just along the wall for a few moments to watch the crowd.
