"James Potter. He's a seventh year. Annoying as hell too." Lucinda said. She took her shoes and socks off and dipped her feet into the cold water and then said, " honestly, "He thinks I'm a true idiotic pure blood adict, money fiend like my parents. But I am not. He won't believe me though. I already punched him and bitch slapped him after he tied me up and left me in the hall way. My little sister Rosealynn got first swing at him and found me." Lucinda laughed alittle

"Ah, yes, I know James. We've shared a fair few classes over the years...what with being in the same year and all," Katherine said with a thoughtful nod, "He doesn't seem too annoying but I can only imainge how bothersome he can be when it comes to you and your family though." She gave the girl a sympathetic, half-hearted smile and then glanced up toward the castle
As it was, people actually had started to wake and wander out into the sunlight. As she listened to the rest of what Lucinda told her, she shook her head and sighed. It was horrible that someone would make such misconceptions about a person as lovely as Lucinda. "I'm glad your sister found you...and that you got a little revenge on him for doing something like that to you!"

"Me too. I think I hit him harder than what he wanted to admit." Lucinda said with a small laugh. She then said, "But either way got my anger out of my system. Although I still have a huge score to settle with him. Ever since my first year I've been his pranking target. Damn pranks."

Though Katherine really didn't like the idea of fighting, she was glad that Lucinda got revenge for what had happened to her. Pranking for no reason at all wasn't something that she fancied but, around the right people and under the right circumstances, Kat was prone to pulling a few pranks herself. She half wanted to suggest helping Lucinda come up with something wicked to do for a good revenge but Katherine didn't want to get caught up in a battle that wasn't hers. Since she and the eldest Potter boy hadn't ever even bickered or really even spoken, she certainly didn't want to start things off on bad terms.
"Besides the family rivalry or whatever, is there any other reason he picks you as his personal target for pranks?" Kat asked, hoping that there was more to it than just prejudice based off of a family surname. She didn't suspect that there were other reasons but she could at least keep hope that there was.

"Thats all it is prejudice." Lucinda said, "I never even bothered him till I started getting back at him. I mean why pick on me. I'm just another girl for crying out loud." She crossed her arms and said, "Well except for the fact I have a bad rep cause of my parents."

"Oye! That really isn't fair at all. I know he's never done anything to me but if he's always picking on you just because of who your parents are then he's a right foul prejudice git," Katherine said in slight irritation, shaking her head again and sighing. It really wasn't very nice to pick on people just because of who they were related to or which house they were in. But, Kat did have a feeling that those sorts of things wouldn't ever stop.
Watching a bird flutter off in front of them, she added, "How about we talk about something a little more upbeat?" Though Katherine didn't exactly have a topic in mind, she was determined to think of something so that they weren't dwelling upon James' pranking and unfairness. Smiling, she asked, "What's the worst prank you've pulled without getting caught?"

"Probably the time I charmed Snape's board to scream and write love messages about Mcgonagall. I did vise versa to Mcgonagalls." She laughed, "It was hilarious. you should have seen their reactions it took a full day to stop. Every time the messages were erased by Snape or Mcgonagall the messages got more seductive." Lucinda continued laughing.

Katherine burst out giggling at such a witty prank. There were tons of rumours about those two professors fancying each other so the prank was probably one of the best she'd heard. Besides that, no one got hurt. Those were always her favourite sort of pranks. The ones that everyone could laugh about but the worst bit of injury was someone's ego...and some professors did need it just as much as the students with egos.
"Brilliant! Do you think they really were too upset by it? I mean, I've always heard things about them and...I know it's all just rumours...but still," she giggled, remembering what one of her friends said about how alike the professors really were and how wel they'd go together.

Lucinda laughed and said, "No I think they were just embarassed. But Mcgonagall is ancient compared to snape. Talk about Ew." She continued to laugh. Poor Snape he's never had a woman. All he ever had was his teddy bear named mr. snuggles."

Kat giggled along about the prank but she really did feel a little bad for Professor Snape. He didn't seem all too bad of a guy. Sure, he wasn't the nicest of professors and he did have greasy hair but he was also incredibly smart. She couldn't see why he'd never ever had a girl fancy him unless that was what he wanted. Shaking her head, she stopped herself from laughing and took a few breaths to ensure that her giggle fit was over.
"Mister Snuggles? And you know this for a fact?" questioned Katherine curiously. The notion of Professor Snape EVER having a teddy bear, and one named Mister Snuggles to boot, seemed very unrealistic to her. Then again, she was the sort of person to place professors and superiors on a pedestal simply because she believed they'd earned such positions and did deserve respect for it. Then there were occasions when they proved to be just as immature, if not more so, than some of their students or subordinates.

"No not really but I am thinking about sneaking into his room and getting some photos." Lucinda said with a laugh, "But it would be my luck he woke up and caught me." Shecontinued to giggle and said, "Do you know how awkward it would be to be caught in the professors room in the middle of the night?" After a moment she sighed and said, "How I would explain it I do not know. How I would go without laughing is also a mystery."

Leaning back in the grass, Katherine couldn't help giggling along. It would be highly amusing to actually see pictures of Professor Snape sleeping with a teddy bear in his arms. It probably wouldn't be the nicest thing in the world to be spreading those kinds of pictures around but there was plenty of humour behind it.
"I sincerely doubt that you'd be able to go without laughing hysterically," she giggled, "But I'd bet that you could come up with some explanation for what you were doing. You just seem like the witty type that could get out of it." Again, it was a compliment to the Slytherin girl but Katherine wondered whether it might be taken the wrong way. She hoped, beyond hope, that the Lucinda grasped what she meant by it and didn't take it the wrong way.

"Yeah but how would I explain it to my boyfriend?!" Lucinda exclaimed while going into another fit of giggles. "I don't know how he'd feel if I he thought he lost me to Snape. Might go crazy. coarse he'd go nuts without me."

"Oye! Now that would be a problem," Katherine giggled softly, "I don't know any boy who would fancy having their girlfriend caught in a male professor's personal bedchamber in the middle of the night. Now that certainly would be a horrible thing to have to explain...even if you were just there for a prank. It would take some very good explaining, I'd say."
Not that Kat knew from experience considering she'd never been caught in a professor's room. Actually, she'd never in her life been in any of the professors' personal bedchambers for any reason at all. Even more, she'd never really had a boyfriend. Now that was an interesting thought. It wasn't something she ever really put too much thought into though, only because she hadn't really cared much. Katherine had intended to be a success and the idea of boys and marriage hadn't really sunk in. Well, it had once during her fifth year but it was only a phase really.

"Well if ya can't convince them I guess you go on your marry way and flirt with the professor." Lucinda said with a laugh, "Oh I could just see myself doing that." Lucinda said with a laugh, "'I mean what girl in their right mind would do that?" She continued laughing and started to hyperventalate from forgetting to breath. She stopped and took a few deep breaths but started laughing again.
