A late night chat (Evie)

Evie giggled a little. "Im sorry... Im weird." She looked down and covered her face bit as she felt it growing hot. She never thought she'd be in the position she was in at the moment. She never saw herself in the owlery kissing a Slytherin.... Or anywhere else kissing a Slytherin. Now that she thought about it, she giggled a little more. She begged herself to stop because she felt like a total idiot giggling from kissing Gabriel. Her new boyfriend.

"It's ok, we're all a little strange." Gabriel said with a smile of pure joy, as soon as he was finished talking he leaned his head on hers in a caring gesture. He would never have thought he would be dating a Gyffindor but it didn't make that much of a difference to random giggles from Evie. Gabriel smiled at her gigles, he found it kinda cute that might have been way they do that now a days.

Evie took a deep breathe then let it. It felt good to have someone beside her and she hoped he wouldnt get tired of her. She willed herself to stop giggling then she kissed his forehead. She nodded to his comment about being strange then stood up. She stood in front of him and tucked a bit of hair that managed to get away back behind her ear. She put her hands out to him. "Come on. Up." She said, smiling broadly.

Gabriel was happy that he had finally found somebody he liked and he was even happier about the fact it wasn't a Slytherin. He would have hated to have fallen in love with any of the Slytherines he knew, they were to much like his sister, insane. "But I was just getting comfortable." Gabriel said jokingly as he got up. Gabriel smiled back at Evie before he started speaking again. "So were are we off to now?" Gabriel asked.

Evie grabbed his hand. "You can choose. Doesnt matter. I just want to leave the owlery. This place smells like alot of shit." She laughed and looked towards the door. She looked back at him and started walking towards the door, pulling him along with her. "Pick somewhere to go Gabriel. I cant keep breathing in owl shit. Not good for the lungs... or the stomach." She said putting her free hand on her stomach.

"We could go to....uhm. I guess the north tower again?" Gabriel asked not exactly sure were they should go. He just knew he wanted to get out of the owlery as well but wasn't being effected as bad as she was. "It's bad for the sanity to." Gabriel said with a laugh. Gabriel started to walk out and took Evie's hand as he did so. He wasn't dragging her with him but he pulled her gently along.

Evie shrugged. "Seriously, I dont care... Just lead the way." She said softly before she placed her hand over his and began walking with him. She looked down at the ground as they walked back thinking of what would happen if his sister found out. She suddenly got the horrible thought of his sister seeing them and cursing her crazy. She, absent-mindedly, let go of his hand and ran both her hands through her hair, causing her hood to fall off. Then she looked back behind them and pulled her hood back over her head. Dont be so paranoid... She told herself. His sister wouldnt be out this late....... Right....? She looked back again before sticking both of her hands in the pockets of her sweater and looking back towards the ground.

"North Tower it is then." Gabriel said as they walked out of the owlery. Gabriel's attention was completely on what was in front of them until Evie let go of his hand. He turned to see why and saw her actions. "Something wrong." Gabriel asked in a worried tone, he was worried she might be seeing things or something of a similar problem. Gabriel stopped walking and waited for her to catch up. When they were standing side by side he wrapped an arm around her waist and gave her a reassuring smile. He wasn't sure what was wrong but he wanted her to know she could tell him.

"Something wrong."

Evie walked in silence. When she heard him say this, she looked up at him smiling. "Just a crazy thought.... Nothing big." She said calmly. When she felt his arm around her she smiled bigger. She got on her tip-toes and kissed his lips. "Thanks." She whispered. "Im okay. Just had a thought about your sister randomly showing up here...." She shivered then laughed. "I had a mental picture of me dueling......." She shook her head. "Im not much of a fighter..."

"Well if she did show up I would step in to stop the duel. I wouldn't want any one getting hurt and besides the chances of that happening are so little. " Gabriel said with a slight smile. "You know I can teach you how to duel, it's pretty easy." Gabriel said and kissed her back. He really liked Evie and wanted to help her be able to defend herself. Besides he didn't mind teaching people how to duel.

Evie laughed. "Well... Its not that I dont know how to duel... I just.... Dont like to...." She said. "I only dueled twice before... The first time I got hurt bad... The second time.... Well... I ended up throwing my wand and using my fist..." She laughed and covered her face as she blushed. "But... I just dont want to have that kind of thing be our first formal introduction." She laughed again then took his hand and pulled him along to the North Tower.

"There are a lot of people who don't like to duel, I'm one of them or at least most of the time." Gabriel said with a laugh. "Sorry to hear your first dueling experience was unpleasant." Gabriel said . At her next comment Gabriel gave her smile and then spoke. "Sounds like you were pissed when ever that happened." Gabriel tried to keep up with Evie's pace as he spoke. "Believe me dueling her is the best first formal introduction you'll get to my Sister Andrea." Gabriel said with a laugh.

Evie nodded. "Yeahh.... It was against my cousin.... The second one was..." She shook her head. "He's such a dork sometimes...." She laughed then looked at Gabriel seriously. "By the way.... He should NEVER find out about this... He'll try to murder you....." She said before looking down. "And we certainly dont want that..." For some odd reason, Evie could never look someone in the eyes for too long. It freaked her out... Made her feel like the person was reading her mind.

"That must have been fun, a duel against family. That usually ends real well in my family." Gabriel said with a laugh. "I know the feeling except my cousin is more of a pain then anything else." Gabriel said with a deep sigh. He nodded at her request before asking her a question. "So who is your cousin?" Gabriel frowned when she broke the gaze, he was accustomed to look people in the eyes when he talked to them but he didn't want to pursue the topic at the current time.

Evie laughed. "Yeah... A bunch of fun.... Especially the part about being grounded for almost a year." She shook her head. "My cousin? Oh... well... its...." She sighed and began to pull at her hair. "Its... James Sirius Potter..." She said shaking her head again. She looked up at him. "I love him and all... But he's such a.... a.... an ass sometimes! Geez!" She was quiet for a second. "Have you.... uhhmmmm.... met him?" She asked curiously.
