A late night chat (Evie)

"Grounded for a year? Wow that's pretty strict, did they take away the spell book to?" Gabriel asked jokingly. "James Sirius Potter? I've met him and it was a rather interesting meeting." Gabriel said his voice faltering slightly at the memory, it had been a very fun meeting with Lucinda and James about to duel and all. "I can understand why you don't want him finding out, I don't want him either. The moment he finds out it will be a duel between me and him." Gabriel said with a slightly nervous laugh.

[Evelyn Thomas]

"Ha ha. Very funny." She laughed a little. "They took away all my potions supplies.... Which killed me!" She shook her head. "James is a prick.... and even if I get... grounded for another year... I wont let him duel you." She looked at him then looked around. "Uhhhmmmm..... Im sorry but.... Are we near the North Tower yet?" She asked, suddenly realizing that she'd stopped paying attention to the direction they were going.


[[Sorrry for the wait! I have a hand injury... So yeah... I've been sort of healing from it. ]]

"Potions? I've never heard of any one liking potions, Snape usually makes every one who takes it want to kill themselves." Gabriel said with a laugh. "I'm glad you care but I can't make any promises, between my sister and mother I'm bound to snap if he bugs me. I'm surprised I haven't dueled him yet." Gabriel said with a sigh.

"Uhm.....I think we passed it a ways back. We can just keeping walking or do you want to back track and make sure we haven't passed it?" Gabriel asked, he to had just realized what she had.

[Evelyn Thomas]

Evie shrugged. "My mother is french. SHE'S so much worse then Snape." She sighed. "I can do my best.... Right?" She looked down at her feet. "...... And you dont have to be like your mother and sister." Evie looked around and shrugged again. "I dont know. We could go back... But its up to you. It doesnt really matter too much to me." She smiled up at him then reached up and began tugging on her necklace, waiting for his answer.

"Is that even possible?" Gabriel asked his eyes wide with surprise. The thought of anything being as bad as Snape was bad enough to make a grown man scream but something worse, that was just a nightmare at the bottom of Pandora's box. He wasn't sure what to say next, he was still knocked off his feet by her comment. "I know and I won't be as bad as them, I'll be worse." Gabriel said with a twisted smile but it faded and gave way to laughter. "Just kidding, I wouldn't even dream of being like them. I'm actually trying to find some way to get away from them so I don't even have to live with them." Gabriel said with a frown.

"We'll it depends on what you want to do. If we want to have a nice fire side chat we just keep walking but if we want to talk about things like my parents and sister we should go up to the tower." Gabriel said hoping it helped.

[Evelyn Thomas]

"Oh yeah. Its possible. She's had a meeting with Snape and.... Yeah.... Not very nice.... You wonder why Gryffindor has so manyy house points." Evie laughed. Her jaw dropped when he said he'd be worse than his mother an sister. Then when he started laughing she hit him lightly. "Thats not funny Mr. Lestrange!" She grinned then looked around and sighed. "A fire side chat sounds really nice." She said smiling brightly.

"Ohh, so your mom is worse then Snape. I thought you were only kidding but now I think I'll have to believe you." Gabriel said with a laugh. When she hit him for his comment he only smiled and grabbed her wrist lightly. He held her hand close to his chest before kissing her gently. "That was pretty funny but don't worry I was only kidding. I would never end up like them." Gabriel said reassuring her. Gabriel nodded at her decision and smiled. "Let's keep walking then." Gabriel agreed.

[Evelyn Thomas]

Evie crossed her arms and pouted mockingly. "It was not." She smiled at him then kissed him again. She turned and continued to walk. "So.... Where are we going exactly? I mean.... Where is this fire side chat gonna be held?"

"It was funny and you know it." Gabriel teased with a smile. "We'll I don't know really. I'm hoping that if we keep walking we'll run into a place to have that chat or we could go to the room of requirements. Those are out best bets since we can't go to my common room or yours for obvious reasons." Gabriel said with a laugh.

[Evelyn Thomas]

Evie shrugged. "I guess the Room of Requirements is an okay idea." She smiled at him. "Well... My common room would be okay... If James and... uhhhmmm... Remus wasnt there. They're the only real problem... Everybody else is just...." She shrugged again. "Not important... I mean... Im not saying James and Remus are important... But James is my cousin... and Remus... But James is my cousin and he's sort of important...." Evie went on and on then blushed and stopped. "Im sorry... Trying to explain my own words is... well... kinda hard.... for me." She smiled sheepishly.

"I know the feeling and don't worry about it. It's not a big deal, it's just one of the many things that make you you and it's just another thing I like about you." Gabriel said with a smile, he was surprised he had said all that without blushing but then again he was good at hiding his emotions every blue moon. "We'll to the room of requirements we go, I hope we don't run into Remus or James along the way. A midnight duel is not on my list of things to do ever." Gabriel said with a laugh.

[Evelyn Thomas]

Evie sighed then smiled. "Yeah... Well breaking up a midnight duel isnt really on my to-do list either." She looked around then started walking in the direction of the Room of Requirements. She hoped she could get in again. She looked up at Gabriel. "Uhhhmmm... You know how to get into the Room of Requirements... Right? I know how to get in but it doesnt work for me sometimes..."

"We'll I've only been here a few times so I guess we'll just have to hope it works out." Gabriel answered with a shrug. He followed her seeing as how he didn't really know it's location that well, only having visited about five times he didn't really memorize it's location. After a while he spoke. "So what exactly do you have planned for next holiday?" Gabriel asked.

[Evelyn Thomas]

Evie grinned. "I only go in there when my little brother and I have a prank planned out... Which is only every once in a while." She sighed. "I miss my little brothers. You may have met the older of the two on an occasion... He absolutly hates Slytherins... No matter what. His name is Jules. Jules Thomas. Have you met him?" She asked curiously. She knew her little brother had probably gotten all of the Slytherins by now, having started his individual targeting during his first year.

"Oh, so what kind of pranks do you usually pull?" Gabriel asked, he was curios about that. Not many people and their siblings worked together on pranks. "I don't think I have meet your older brother but then again I don't really remember any of the gryffindors I've meet a side from you." Gabriel said and laughed. Gabriel hoped he wouldn't meet her brother in truth if he hated slytherines as much as she said and he hoped he never had.
