A late night chat (Evie)

[Evelyn Thomas]

Evie shrugged. "Whatever comes to mind. We usually come up with things as we go..." She grinned and looked down. "We have this sort of... connection. Whenever we're too bored we'll go get each other and go crazy with pranks." She laughed. "Dont worry. You'll meet him... He'll probably target you soon." She said smiling. "But dont worry. If Im lucky, he'll call me to help. You'll be safe if I help."

"I hope he does or I might be looking at a prank being done to me that's worse then anything I could think up." Gabriel said with a smile. "So how are you parents concerning Slytherin's? I'm hoping one of us can meet the other's parents and since mine is insane your might be the best bet." Gabriel said with a laugh, he had a feeling he knew the answer already though.

"My parents.... are awesome. I know for a fact that my mom wouldnt care... She went to Beauxbatons so Slytherin and Gryffindor would be the same thing to her.... My dad... Well... He's another story... having been tortured by Slytherins all throughout his years at Hogwarts...." Evie shrugged. "But... Its safe to say that you have a fair chance in winning his vote." She thought for a while. "My little brother Alexander would love you though." She said smiling.

"I'm glad to know that your parents wouldn't flip like mine would. Just mentioning a Gryffindor in their prescience is like asking them to kill you if not worse. Just the thought of me speaking to a Gryffindor pisses them off so imagine what being the boyfriend of one would spark." Gabriel said regretfully. "So I guess your family will know about me and my family won't know about you, sound like a good idea?" Gabriel asked.

Evie shrugged. "It's okay with me. And.... most of my family.... a majority will be okay with you." She sighed. "Or at least civil.... You know what? You'll be fine. The bit thats not okay with you will probably be the guys and they're all afraid of the girls... You're cool." She said smiling brightly at him. "What is the deal with your family? Isnt being pureblood enough?" She asked.

"I'm glad to hear that, I was afraid they would try to burn my at the stake like so many others would love to do to a member of the Black Family." Gabriel said and laughed jokingly. "I'll just be sure to always be around you when they enter the room then. Either way we can figure out a way to make it work." Gabriel said putting it simply.

"As for being pureblood being enough, it's not. You have to be a pure pureblood. One who hates muggles, isn't a Gryffindor, and is an absolute snob. You don't fulfill any of their little needs except for beauty which I'm glad about." Gabriel said.

[Evelyn Thomas]

"Yeah... Welll they'd get you alone sooner or later... There's always guy-time with my family. It's pretty... uhmm... entertaining." Evie smiled up at him. "You'd you fine Gabriel. They'll like you whether they want to or not."

"As for being pureblood being enough, it's not. You have to be a pure pureblood. One who hates muggles, isn't a Gryffindor, and is an absolute snob. You don't fulfill any of their little needs except for beauty which I'm glad about."

"Ah... Well..." She shrugged. "So much for winning them over huh?" She joked.

"I look forward to that, it will start a new tradition. Duel the slytherin and the who can send the most curses in five minutes." Gabriel said with a laugh, he could see the image clearly and saw it as a plausible thing happening. "I don't think you want to win them over, that would mean killing a muggle." Gabriel said with a half laugh, he hated the fact something like that was needed to get his parents on their good side.

Evie shivered. "Seriously? Wow. You're family is harsh...." She laughed. "Geez. If your parents could choose your girlfriend she'd probably be an already convicted murderer.... You'd have a long distance romance... From Hogwarts to Azkaban..." She laughed a little more then shook her head. "I wish I could talk some sense into your family... Almost impossible though... Well... it is... right?" She took his hand in hers and squeezed it slightly. "You are the wierdest Lestrange ever." She said smiling brightly.

"They can be worse and as for the Azkaban relationship they would probably break her out or get me one who is labeled insane. My mom has a thing for hooking me up with the craziest people." Gabriel said and frowned.

"It would be impossible to talk some since into them unless it involved shock therapy or a muggle related item." Gabriel said and laughed, he actually enjoyed mocking the Lestrange family name. "As for being the weirdest Lestrange, that's something I'm happy about. I don't want to be anything like them." Gabriel said before kissing Evie gently.

Evie smiled. "Oh really? Mind telling me about some of those crazy people your mom has set you up with?" She giggled a little as she thought of a few crazy people she'd heard about and Gabriel going out on a date. "And as for shock therapy... I can deal with that." She smiled more after he kissed her then ran her hand through her hair. "Well... Im happy about that too.... Très heureux!" She said happily.

"We'll one was Maggie Salem, an irritating sixth year Slytherin. She clang to me like a shipwrecked man does to a raft. I couldn't get her of my arm unless I literally pried her off and she was always crying, ever second I just hear heard her crying and yelling at me for cheating on her even though I hadn't. The girl believed anything you told her it was the worst person I had ever gone out with." Gabriel said and sighed heavily.

"We'll on a change of subject, I was wondering if you wanted to go to Hogsmeade? We can go were ever you want and eat dinner were ever you want, my treat." Gabriel said with a smile.

Evie giggled. "Oh geez... Maggie Salem.... I know her! Well... I know of her..." She giggled more then stopped. "No worries. Im sure you'll have a few more like her before you settle down and get married.... mayeb you'll be lucky enough to marry one just like her." She joked. "You'd definatly get mum's approval." She smirked and then hugged him. "Just kidding." She listened to his offer and nodded. "Sure. I'd love to."

"If I ended up marring someone like her I think I would Avada Kadavra myself but after I crucio'd my mother into a deeper insanity then she already is in." Gabriel said with a dark sigh, the thought of someone similiar to Maggie Salem made him want to jump off a building. "I'm glad, if you were being serous I would have had to have you admitted to Saint Mungo's." Gabriel said and smiled.

"I'm glad to hear you want to go. I guess we can go tomorrow and remember your not buying anything, it's my treat so I pay for it all." Gabriel said and smiled.

Evie giggled again. "That.... would be really wierd... Going to St. Mungo's for being serious!" She shook her head. "You wouldnt!" She said dramatically before giggling once more.

"I'm glad to hear you want to go. I guess we can go tomorrow and remember your not buying anything, it's my treat so I pay for it all."

"Of course... but... I dont want you to pay for it all... I wanna buy stuff for you too..." She said softly. "I have to buy you something. I want to.... Okay?" She added.
