"Well I'm a chipmunk when it comes to nuts. I absoulutly love them." She laughed and said, "Never ask me to babysit a bowl of nuts cause if you come back and want some. I'll be sorry to say, I would have already eaten them." She twirled her hair around her finger absent mindly. She was always zoning out and going into her own little world which sometimes was a bad thing for her.

"Again...that's something I've never heard someone admit to being addicted to nuts either," Katherine giggled softly, "Your really are one of a kind Lucinda." It was, of course, a compliment so she hoped that it wouldn't be taken as anything otherwise.
Taking a small bite of her toast, she leaned back against the wall and smiled contently. The jam was strawberry flavoured...which just happened to be her favourite. It never ceased to amaze her just how well the house elves knew her likes and dislikes. Before she could even ask for it, she noticed that a glass of water had already been set beside her on the counter.

"Yes I know I am a unique person. Bring on the firewhiskey!" She said randomly. "Yes I am random too. sometimes randomness never makes sense either. Well from me it don't." She then said, "I wonder if I could get Potter to dance in the the great hall upon the table?" She then burst out into a fit of giggles and said, "We could get him to strip dance for the teachers." She said randomly before busting out laughing.

Katherine burst out into a fit of giggles at how random Lucinda could really be. It was highly amusing and made the Slytherin girl all the more fun to be around. It really was no wonder she'd taken to the girl so well. Trying her best to stop giggling at the random comment, she inhaled deeply to calm herself. Once more, as was habit, Kat shook her head lightly in a very amused manner.
The next comment to come out of Lucinda's mouth, however, had caught her off guard. The mere notion made Katherine blush lightly. She tried her best to cover it up by shoving more toast into her mouth and washing it down with a large gulp of water. Try as she might, the thought of James Sirius Potter strip dancing on the professors' table just wouldn't go away.

"Oh is Miss. Finnegan blushing? You like him don't you? Hmmmmmm?" She raised an eyebrow and smirked a little and said, "If so tell me. It can be our little secret." She giggled and said, "We can have him on you faster than a hobo on a poptart." She laughed at her saying of coarse if I helped Potter get a girl you'd have to put me in the Hopicicle." Hopicicle was her prase for hospital. she used unique words often.

Kat turned an even brighter shade of pink at Lucinda's revelation. She nearly choked on her water even. Nervously, she cleared her throat and replied, "He's way too far out of my league. Trust me." She didn't want to admit that she had, in fact, at one point in time, had a little crush on the eldest Potter boy. It was, as she thought, nothing more than a silly and childish crush that needed to be forgotten about.
"Don't worry...we won't need to put you in the...er...hopicicle?" she added, laughing at the unique terminology of her friend. It was highly amusing. Nonetheless, she didn't want to dwell upon the Potter topic...because it would only lead to getting hopes up and that sort of thing.

"Ok fine. Although I think you guys make a good couple." Lucinda said with a nod, "But anywho your not boy crazy." She began humming and she grabbed a butterbeer. She downed it and let out a burp and said, "excuse me. didn't mean to do that. but I think that was a 5." she began laughing and said, "I should so do that at dinner and magnify the sound." She burst into a fit of evil giggles

"I stick by what I said. James Sirius Potter is way too far out of my league. I'd be lucky if he ever even talked to me," stated Katherine. She'd always liked to think that she would be able to talk to guys...especially being that she was really into sport and things most boys liked, but that simply wasn't the case. She was pure rubbish with boys.
Sighing softly to herself, she sort of wished the topic hadn't come up. There was no way Potter, or any other boy for that matter, would look twice at her. It was sort of depressing if she dwelled upon it too much. As such, she tried to get the thoughts out of her mind. The instant Lucinda belched, however, she had no problem bursting into a fit of laughter.

Lucinda smiled and laughed as well. Although a few house elves stopped working and just stared. Lucinda sighed and said, "I so did not mean to do that. Normally if I chug a drink I don't burp unless I do two glasses. She smiled a bit and said noticing her friend was uncomfortable on the boy subject she then said, "Ok so want to plan out exactly what we shall do to your appearence that way I can take note of it so I don't have to keep asking? I can be a bit forgetful at times. I got detention for forgetting about a test and not taking it in class because I went completely blank."

Katherine giggled a little more before letting the laugher taper off into a few small breaths. Though some people might have though burping out loud like that was rude, Kat found it extremely funny. Besides that, it changed subjects and gave her a very good reason to laugh. Katherine was always eager for a good laugh or giggle whenever the chance arose. It seemed that being around Lucinda always gave her a good reason to laugh.
"My appearance...well, I believe we decided on some very bright colour of green. Something neon or lime, to be exact," recounted Katherine, "And I guess I could try to find a decent pair of capri pants to go along with some wicked awesome socks...also in green...or green and black. Pausing to think a moment on what else they'd decided upon, Kat found herself pondering something else. Finally she spoke up to add, "I don't usually wear makeup...but I wouldn't be against some green or silver eye shadow...just to irk my mum more."

"I got the perfect dark glittery green eye shadow and silver eyeliner. I usually wear my make up colors according to my clothing colors. I also have some green lipstick and silver. Also I have silver blush with green sparkles in it. I also have the adorable clover headband I bought for St.Patricks day it has clovers on it and one large one on a spring so it bounces around when you walk. I think we can turn you into a walking clover with all the green. I bet I can pick up some green and silver nail polish to do your nails in and some clover nail jewels. I don't have green on hand because I usually stick to black with skull jewels." Lucinda said as she began taking note of everything.

Kat listened eagerly about all the green that she'd be wearing. Her father would, of course, adore it simply because she would be adorned all in the colour of good old Ireland. Her grandmum had always said that Katherine was her "little Irish jewel" and now she'd be that, almost quite literally. The idea of being a walking clover, though, did seem a little much only because she wasn't sure if she was keen on wearing a giant bouncing clover on her head.
"I love the idea of the eye shadow and eyeliner. The nail polish sounds awesome too...and the little clover nail jewels. I don't know about the headband and blush though. I don't want to look scary or anything," she giggled, thinking it over. At least two good things would come of her little temporary makeover. One: her mum would go absolutely mental. Two: it was a giant step toward being less shy because surely it would make people notice her. Who in the world would NOT notice a girl with neon green hair, green eye shadow and painted, jeweled nails?!

OK we can always charm your hair to stick up into giant spikes." Lucinda said in a fit a laughter, "You can poke people with them if they annoy you to much. See theres an uside to enormously spiked hair." Lucinda said. She took a drink of butter beer and said, "Its a good thing butterbeer can't make you drunk. Otherwise I would be seeing monkey's in pinstriped suits doing the hokey pokey."

"Giant spikes is entirely too much for me, thanks," giggled Katherine, shaking her head slightly, "I'd make my hair a little shorter though...but I don't want to actually cut it. This is a temporary look after all." Kat wasn't shy when it came to giving input about her own appearance. If she didn't fancy something, she would say so. Half the time, when she told her mother of course, she wasn't listened to but the other half of the time seemed to save her from looks that she really couldn't see herself having.
Katherine giggled a bit more at Lucinda's next statement about butterbeer. Of course, she hadn't touched hers just yet...but she noticed just how much of her Slytherin friend's drink was gone. Kat had this thing about needing water directly after eating something before she could drink anything else. She wasn't sure why it was like that, exactly, but it was something she'd grown accustomed to over the years. Finally opening her butterbeer, she said, "Monkeys? Doing the hokey pokey? Now that would be something..."

Lucinda laughed and said, "Ya I know I can do a hair shortening charm. Also if I see monkeys doing the hokey pokey you know I am either, high or drunk." Lucinda laughed and switched from butterbeer to pumpkin juice and said, "You know I think I am going to add more blue streaks to my hair and a few pink underneath.
