"Well Ya. I'll need a house that both me and Rosalynn can live in comfortably and I want to be in the peacful country side. Away from lots of people but still close to civilization. I just want to get as far away from my family as I can withough vanishing from the country." Lucinda said with a sigh, "So I figured the country side with lush green grash, flowing water and trees around. The beautiful birds and animals. It'll be a wonderful place to live."

Katherine thought for a moment and suggested, "Have you ever thought about living in Scotland? It's absolutely beautiful up this way. Ireland is lovely too." Kat and her parents lived in England but she always did go to visit her grandmum and uncle Fergus in Ireland. Sometimes Kat wondered what it would be like to live in a such a beautiful country but her career probably wouldn't allow for that.
"You know, maybe you'll find the most amazing place off in the Irish countryside and it'll still be close enough to jolly ol' England but still far enough from your family," she said with an enthusiastic smile as she glanced up at her Slytherin friend

"I'll have to look around and see what I can find. It sounds beautiful. I never been to Ireland. I've heard its gorgeous." Lucinda said with a smile. She sighed and said, "How often do you go up to Ireland? Is it as beautiful as everyone says?" Lucinda was curious now she wasnted to know about Ireland. The location seemed wonderful. She would probably move their if she could.

"Ireland is amazingly gorgeous! I've been at least once every year...usually over summer holiday, to visit my grandmum. I can honestly say that there isn't any place more beautiful than it. Scotland comes close and England is lovely but Ireland...nothing compares," Katherine said in a dreamy sort of tone. She always did love to go visit her dad's side of the family and being Ireland just made it that much better.
Kat thought about the lovely countryside and the rolling green hills. She remembered the music and the amazing Irish culture. The more that she thought about it, the more she longed to visit again but it would be a fair few months before she could even leave the school. Sighing softly, she sat back up but leaned onto her elbows.

"I might just go there and not even come to hogwarts. It sounds amazing." Lucinda said with a laugh. "It really does sound amazing Maybe I'll take a tent and just head out their during the holidays." She laughed and said, "I might just do that. It'd be a great get away. Maybe I'd take Rosalynn with me. She'd enjoy it."

Kat smiled very brightly and suggested, "If you're running off over holiday to go, maybe you can come along with me. My grandmum always has extra rooms if you need a place to stay while you're there...that is, until you find a more permanent place to live." Her dad's side of the family was always very friendly and willing to take in others if they really needed somewhere to stay. It was all about good old Irish hospitality.
She grinned happily and let the sun warm her face while she thought about heading off to Ireland. Thoughts of the countryside made her think about just how happy holidays always made her. "Oye! I bet even my grandmum would love to see that little change I'm going to make over this weekend," she chirped cheerfully with a light giggle at the end

Lucinda laughed and said, "We can give your family double shock. I can go pretty crazy." She layed on the ground and basked in the warm sun. The breeze blew lightly causing Luinda to close her eyes and yawn sleepily. She put her hands behind her head and sighed. She loved days where it was nice enough outside to just lay around and be comfortable.

"That would be absolutely brilliant. My mum would have a fit but my dad's whole side of the family would probably just adore you," Katherine said with a smile as she fell back into the grass again and watched the sky. There were a few clouds but they were all light and puffy rather than the dark ones that usually found their way into the English skies.
Thinking a few more moments, she went on to say, "Crazy is always more fun anyway. Normality and sanity are overrated." Katherine giggled softly and let her eyes wander over one cloud in particular. It looked so much like a broom but there was something off about it. She just couldn't figure out exactly what it was.

"Hun. No one in this world is sane. Not even your Mother. And There is no such thing as normal." Lucinda said, "I mean define normal. Its impossible to define. Unless your family is normally one thing and your something totally un normal then you can define it. But thats a whole nother branch of things. Lucinda zoned out and began singing absently mindly, "I tear my heart open, sew myself shut. My weakness is that I care to much. The scars remind me that the past is real..."

Katherine grasped exactly what Lucinda was saying but she didn't know if she quite agreed with it. As she'd understood, the term 'normal' was a subjective thing that could very easily be defined. The definitions, of course, would certainly vary from person to person...but that was a whole other discussion all together and she didn't fancy getting into it. Instead, she relaxed and continued to watch the clouds as they drifted by.
After a moment or two, she heard her Slytherin friend singing. It was a very interesting song choice but, again, it wasn't something that she really cared to comment on. As it was, Kat was more interested in relaxing, enjoying the warm weather and watching the beautiful sky as clouds formed and slid by peacefully.

Lucinda insprected her nails and rolled over on her stomach. The wind picked up and whipped Lucinda's hair around. Clouds blew in and covered the sun, "Man I was hoping for a tan damnit." She pouted and mutted, "stupid clouds. I swear during summer break I am so going to hit a beach and get some sun I look like a ghost. I blend in with the damn snow during the winter as it is."

Katherine watched the clouds as more and more of them began to roll in. It was still quite a lovely day for relaxing even with the sun becoming less and less. A light breeze picked up but that didn't phase Kat in the slightest. Instead, she finally allowed her eyes to close. It was the perfect day...but she was starting to feel restless again.
"Oh come now! You're not really that pale," she stated to Lucinda, without even opening her eyes really. Though the breeze was blowing, she wasn't too worried about her hair considering it was up in a tight ponytail.

Lucinda smiled and said, "Maybe so but I am still pale." She pushed her hair from her face and sighed, she closed her eyes and relaxed. She made sure to stay awake. If it was just her she would fall asleep but with her friend there she made sure to stay awake. She chewed on a piece of gum she had just put in her mouth and said, "Hey Kat do you want a piece of gum?"

Katherine didn't really think that Lucinda was really as pale as she thought she was. It was kind of hard to actually be very tanned living in a country that it was usually cloudy or overcast on nine days out of ten. Even Kat could probably due with a little more sun but Ireland was usually far more sunny than jolly ol' England so that little necessity would be remedied.
Opening her eyes, she glanced over at Lucinda and replied, "Sure, I'd like a piece of gum. Which flavour is it?" She didn't always chew gum but when she wasn't trapped in classes, it was nice to have a piece every now and then.

"Watermelon." Lucinda replied as she blew a bubble and popped it. She sighed and sat up. She looked around and sighed as the wond began blowing harder. "It looks as if it might rain. Its getting awfully cloudy." Lucinda said as she looked at the sky. Just then a droplet hit her nose and she said, "And speak of the devil It is raining, now. We better get inside we don't know how bad it'll get"
