I used to run around out here in 2nd year dodging the tree to get fast reflexis. I was picked up and thrown into the trunk and found the not whish when touch it freezes and I walked around adn found the tunnel and followed it. When I wound up in the shack I left it and found myself in hogsmeade. It seemed I found a easy way to skip classes and have fun." Lucinda said

Katherine was both shocked and somewhat horrified to hear about how, exactly, her friend made the discovery about the hidden passageway. Her eyes wide, she thanked Merlin that Lucinda hadn't wound up severely injured during that event. After all, the whomping willow wasn't the most pleasant and friendly thing on the school grounds. Kat shook her head and silently expressed her awe.
"Skivving off class, eh?" she questioned in a light-hearted manner, "Probably shouldn't be telling a goody-good Head Girl about that sort of thing." Of course, she was merely joking but there were other prefects that surely wouldn't mind putting Luce into detention for skipping classes and leaving the campus.

"Oh please you wouldn't turn me in. I always catch and keep up with the work. So what harm does it do?" Lucinda asked looking at her, "I practice spells by myself in toe Room of Requirments. Besides I learn better alone than what I do with a teacher teaching me. Except Potions and Divinations. Potions I suck at and Divination I love." She smiled "Besides I'm the teachers favorite. I'm a good student plus she knows that unlike other slytherins I have manors and I am polite."

"I wouldn't...you're right," she laughed softly. Kat was a good student that generally followed the rules and did as told. She did her job as the Head Girl and did it well. But that certainly did not mean that she was a tattle or a stubborn and mean girl that took her position too seriously. Besides that, just as long as Lucinda was acutally getting the work done and getting good marks, surely there was no harm in her missing a few classes.
Following the Slytherin girl through the tunnel, she pondered just how long the the secret passage way was. Considering she'd always gone to Hogsmeade in the carriages that were offered to them, Kat had no idea how long it would take them to actually get to the Shrieking Shack. It was still an interesting experience to say the very least about it.

The tunnle moved up andwent into an open sqaure in the ground. She jumped up grabbing the edge and with a grunt of effort pulled herself up. She offered Kat a hand and said, "The shack is awaiting." She giggled and said, "Come on wel have a pretty good walk ahead of us meaning we can really pig out later. Then we can work it off together. I don't need to get fat. I like my skin and bone self. surprised I don't look anorexitc."

Katherine followed along and found that the tunnel was moving upwards. Taking Lucinda's offered hand, she helped the Slytherin girl pull her up onto the open ground. The Shrieking Shack wasn't really too far off from the rest of Hogsmeade but Luce was right about being able to work off their little food adventure. Grinning rather excitedly, almost like a kid in a candy store, Kat giggled at what Lucinda had to say about not needing to get fat.
"Trust me, I don't need to be any fatter than I am so working it off with plenty of walking sounds like a plan to me," she said after a moment. The mere thought of what her mum would say if she even put on one single pound only made Kat shudder and frown. It was bad enough she had issues with her figure anyway but to have her mother there to constantly remind her was just too much.

"Ok well lets go. I need food and I need it now." She giggled, "I swear candy is my enemy. Yet suck a tasty one." She began walking towards the exit with a skip to her step and walked outside. Heading to Hogsmeade she followed an old path through some rocks and trees. As she hit a split in the path she went forward and seen Hogsmeade up ahead. She entered the street and looked around

Kat giggled along with Lucinda. The more she thought about it, the more she came to terms with the fact that a huge piece of chocolate cake, covered in frosting, accompanied with ice cream and a few strawberries was exactly what she needed to make her feel all better. As she imagined the delicious treat, she could feel her stomach agreeing completely with the idea.
"And go we shall," she giggled, following Lucinda along the pathway toward Hogsmeade. It wasn't one that she was accustomed to taking but she had a pretty good idea about where she was going now. As the rocks, trees and shrubbery disappeared, she noted the familiar sights and scents of the little wizarding town. It was a welcomed sight and, as such, a huge smile spread across her face.

"Come on girlie." Lucinda said and took off towards a cafe that served what ever you could ever find in any resteraunat. She opened the door and walked in and smiled at the store owner. She waited for Kat and crossed her arms. All she wanted was a large cake covered in thick icing and a glass of cold milk to go on the side and some whip cream. Her stomach growled at the thought and she smirked.

Eagerly following her Slytherin counterpart, Katherine glanced around Hogsmeade curiously. She hadn't ever really been to the small wizarding town aside from on the set weekends. It was much different without all the other students running around through the street and practically pouring out of each shop. It seemed, well, vacant. The occasional witch or wizard exited one shop and moved into another as they walked toward a quaint little cafe.
Very thoughtfully, the Hufflepuff girl entered the shop. Her mind kept asking whether or not they'd be caught for being out of school when they were obviously students. Why did this bother Katherine so much? She noted that she was still in her school attire since she hadn't been given a chance to change before they'd left. Tapping Lucinda on the shoulder, she asked, "D'you think I should maybe transfigure my uniform into a more fitting outfit before we head to Diagon Alley?"

"Yeah we can. Here is fine we can say we have permission. to be here and we were making a quick stop." Lucinda said lookin g at Kat. She then said to the lady I would like a glass of milk and a nice large slice of her german chocolate cake please." The woman nodded and began preparing it and asked Kat, "And what would you like dear?" She put some chocolate sauce drizzle over the icing of the cake and put it on the counter. She paid and went to get a table.

Katherine grinned broadly and looked down at her attire. Being that she was seventeen years old, there was no problem for her to use magic outside of the school grounds. Pulling her wand, she worked out exactly what she wanted in her mind. Uttering the incantation quitely under her breath, Kat turned her school attire into a pair of comfortable jeans and a t-shirt. It was much better to have something besides school clothes if they didn't want to get into trouble for being off the Hogwarts grounds.
"Oh...uh...I'd like a large piece of chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side," Katherine responded thoughtfully, "And, perhaps, a few strawberries with chocolate syrup drizzled over the top of them...if it's not too much. Thank you." Handing over the proper amount, she was sure to count out a nice tip for the woman. As her treat was placed on the counter, Kat could feel her stomach dying for the delicious dessert.

Lucinda changed her clothing at the table into a pair of short shorts, a red tub top, a jean crop jacket, and a pair of knee high stelletto boots. She smiled and began eating her desert and sighed heavenly at the first bite. She fell over dramatically and said, "So good!" She took a sip of milk and said, "This was a good call. She gave a handful of galleons to the woman and said theres a tip you deserve it."

Sitting down at the table that Lucinda had saved for them, Katherine put her plate down and smiled. Just the sight of such a delightful treat sitting there for her to enjoy was enough to put her in a wonderful mood. Picking up the silver fork, she cut through the moist piece of chocolate cake. The familiar scent of the yummy dessert wafted up through the air as Kat lifted a small piece of her cake up and placed the treat into her mouth. Making a sound that resembled "mmmmm", she let the cake practically melt in her mouth before grinning insanely.
"Bloody hell that's good," she stated, glancing over at Lucinda, who had just dramatically fallen for effect. Giggling lightly, she nodded in complete agreement that this was a brilliant idea. Her eyes moving back down to the cake and ice cream, she scooped a little bit of the chilled vanilla treat onto her cake and cut another piece. It still tasted amazing. So good, in fact, that she swallowed and added, "Good Merlin! This is just...it's good beyond words! Who needs useless boys, stupid dances and tiresome classes when you can have something like this?"

Lucinda laughed and said, "Yeah seriously. But That doesn't mean I'm dumpind Damien. Thats never going to happen." She giggled and took another bite and took a large glob of icing and stuck it in her mouth. She had come here many times and the store owner always knew Lucinda liked lots of extra icing so she always added a couple of large globs on the plate next to the cake.
